Three months later and they are yet to get the result of the DNA test. Generally things haven't been going their way. The police had paid them visits seeking Silvia, it seemed their hospital friend had tipped the police. Now no DNA, no leads, no clue and a wanted criminal. Sandra was beginning to doubt the possibility of proving this case and Silvia couldn't just hand herself over, she would face more charges and it was harder to leave the house, they knew the police had them under surveillance. At this cross road they didn't know what to do. Silvia just moved around the house, helpless and hopeless.
"Silvia you need to see this!" Someone called from the sitting room. Everybody that was not there already rushed in. It was the news report.
"The Chamel group of companies celebrates the election of its new acting vice president Miss Ellie Chamel, elected into office after a serious debate as to the impeachment of the missing vice president Miss Silvia Chamel who was convicted of murder, fraud and possession of drugs. Although the board members expressed doubt in the capabilities of Miss Ellie, she is being given a trial period pending the reappearance of the vice president or formal election into office. The new Miss Chamel seems intent of filling the shoes of her predecessor as she is now engaged to Mr. Stan Haley president of the Haley group of companies, Miss Silvia's ex fiancé who..." Silvia didn't wait to hear the rest. She stormed out of the room.
Silvia was down for almost a week. She hadn't eaten anything or spoken to anyone. She seemed fed up with life entirely. Sandra was at lost as to what to do to make her feel better. She was equally annoyed, how could they betray her like that. Well she could not Stand and watch her wither away like this. She remembered the first day the sad princess had walked into her cell, she had become protective of her. She had been making plans to smuggle her out of the country through the sea, maybe a change of scenario would help. Silvia didn't object, more like she didn't care about what happened to her.
Silvia made plans for her to move and within a month she had finalized her plans. She was busy when they announced she had a visitor, the least person she expected to see. There was no formality.
"I know you know where Silvia is. I have enough evidence for them to reopen the case and I have contacted the authorities through a medium whom they have no idea is working for me. They've agreed to put her on probation while the case is being investigated. It should be on the news by now."
"If you've already worked things out why do you need me?" Sandra asked
"Right now, you are the only person she trust. Whoever planned this would flare up, we need her to smoke them out. I can guarantee her safety but my part must be secret" the conversation went on till Sandra was convinced it was worth the shot after confirming from other sources. The sooner the better her sources told her.
There was only one thing left, convincing Silvia.
