Chapter 3: Chapter 3

I bowed down as she inspected me. "Ok Aizen, what exactly do you want." I stood back up and looked her in the eyes.

"I was reading in the library and I found some interesting books about the medical field, I heard that you were the best medical nin here so I'd like you to teach me more." She looked me up and down. I looked like your average 7 year old. Childish.

"No." She said bluntly and began to walk away. "I don't have time to be babysitting little kids. Get out." Maybe she was trying to dissuade me but I was persistent. After a whole two weeks of pestering, she finally gave in.

"I want to learn from you," I said again. "Didn't I tell you to not come back here yesterday? You know what, I'll give you one chance, and then maybe I'll make you my disciple. Can you use chakra emission?"

I summoned a layer of chakra on my palms. "Alright, can you use any medical ninjutsu" she asks. "No, not yet" I replied. "That's fine, follow me." Hopefully Tsunade would actually teach me something, and not just end up sending me away again.

She taught me the basics and was pleased at my ability to retain the information and some of the prior knowledge I had. I was invited back again for the next week, the meetings then turned to daily sessions.

Arriving at her office she pointed me towards a ridiculous amount of books and scrolls. "I want you to read all these, you must comprehend everything.

As you are too young to start any real work, you will dedicate your time to building your knowledge. However, I want to see how well you do with this exercise.

I'm not expecting you to complete the task right away, it is to see how far you can go. Now, step up to this table." I stand before a table with a dead fish trying to bring it back to life.

Tsunade explained to me how to use the Mystic Palm technique. "Just place your hand over the wound and channel chakra into it. This can be used for internal and external damage. Make sure to not use too much as it would disrupt the chakra flow in them and send them into a comatose state. The goal is to stimulate the body into healing at a faster rate. Other parts of the patient's body is used to supplement this process."

The receptionist poked her head in, "lady Tsunade, they need you in the operating room" She said to Tsundae. "I'm on my way, focus on the task but don't force the result you want. Keep the flow steady, don't rush."

I was left alone to practice my Mystic Palm technique. With my prior experience as a surgeon, I know all too well how dangerous rushing could be. I wasn't a 007 in my last life and I wouldn't be one now.

Well, considering this world I guess I would be a 007. As a ninja it's expected of you, before the term referred to a surgeon who freezes up in the middle of a surgery.

Hence 007, a license to kill. Not something you want to be labeled as, but here, you might get praised for it.

After 2 hours, I had a fair understanding of the technique and managed to revive the fish, so I spent another hour reading some books on poisonous herbs. After a few more hours Tsunade came back and plopped onto a nearby couch. "What happened?'' I asked.

She looked stressed and tired. "A patient was brought in with a sword buried in his chest and a kunai in his calf. Not to mention the blades were serrated and dirty. He should make it, albeit without his lower leg." I was confused, how the hell did something like that happen, how did he get here? Tsunade smiled at my confusion and looked at the previously dead fish, swimming in a basin of water.

"I see you were able to do the Mystic Palm Technique, after a brief explanation and a few hours at that. Even I wasn't able to acco-, oh it died again."

I nodded, "yeah, it wasn't as hard as I tho-, wait what? How did it die? Oh well, just need to tweak my technique a bit" I said with a helpless smile. "I'll have to see you use it again tomorrow but for now, you should go, it's getting late."

She laid down on her back. I knew exactly how tough working in a hospital is, so I did what anyone with extra time would do. "Would you like a massage?" I asked.

She looked at me and shrugged. Then she flipped over to her stomach, "go ahead" She said. I walked over and began to knead her shoulders and back, even using the Mystic Palm Technique to help relax her muscles. And after only a few minutes, she was so relaxed she couldn't move.

Luckily she trusted me enough and didn't panic when she realized she was incapacitated. After another minute she asked a question I've kind of been anticipating.

"Aizen, why are you always in the hospital? Shouldn't you be with other kids your age?" I paused for a second and continued the massage. I had parents in my previous life and I love them dearly.

But now I had parents I've never met before and had no connection to. I didn't love them but I couldn't just not acknowledge their existence. "I'm an orphan," I said, putting a bit of sadness into my voice.

"And I have no friends other than you." Tsunade was silent as she took in my words. I didn't think it was that depressing but to another person, my life probably was kinda lame. No parents or friends, oof.

We were silent for a few minutes and I didn't stop the massage until Tsunade fell asleep. I covered her with a blanket and went back to my studies.

After that day, Tsunade seemed a little more serious in teaching me and was way nicer, not that she was mean before.

But she saw my training as a side thing, and now she seemed to see it as her job. She would even take me out to places to have fun or eat. I really didn't know why she was affected so greatly by my circumstances but I accepted it.

She taught me the chakra scalpel and I helped her treat some patients without major injuries. I also learned Body Pathway Derangement and Chakra Enhanced Strength. Thanks to my amazing chakra control, learning the techniques wasn't hard at all. I didn't plan on using these in a fight unless I needed to, but I was going to focus on my water style for all of my offense.

Whenever I had free time, I would train my Water Style Jutsu. I could do the water clone and was working on upgrading it from one tenth of my strength to half. My chakra was too low for my Flood Release so I focused on my doujutsu instead. It worked as I wanted, 360 degree vision, x ray vision, farther sight, and genjutsu. I was trying to increase its range and power without much success. It would take time, but eventually, they would become more dangerous.

I also spent some extra time with Karthos to better understand my powers. The guy is so lazy, I could spend an hour trying to get his attention only to receive bubbles in response.

Our first meeting had me thinking he would be this super attentive servant. But as time went on he just became a potato, I could barely get him to acknowledge my existence. I suppose that old one heritage made him prone to deep sleep.

Most of my time was spent at the hospital, in fact many workers there would frequently greet me. The receptionist lady would always give me snacks between study sessions. Eventually it was time for me to enter the academy, the year sure flew by fast.
