Chapter 2: The "Weirdo" I became

Days later I'd already realised the world was different. That day at Doc's was just the tip of the ice berg. On the way home I saw huge men made of stone carrying the bridges we drove under and flames in every street lamp. Don't get me wrong I was still seeing the regular bridges and street lamps... but it was only in one eye. If I closed one eye Id see the world I'd always seen, but when I closed the other eye... a whole new scene appeared. The buildings changed shape and material as if they were from a Dr. moose picture book but less colorful. The objects on the side walks too, some even changed into living creatures simply sitting in place watching everyone pass. When we finally arrived at home and got out of the car I realised even the grass had changed in places. It was moving! Not swaying in the wind, no no no; clumps of grass where crawling like caterpillars across the yard! One even went under our cement drive way and popped out the other side like a large mole!
