Just when Airi was questioning the purpose of creation and having an one to one confrontation with life, the little troublemaker had from out of the blue took the responsibility of finding the culprit upon himself.
It was as if it was his own sole duty to look out for his mistress. If not him then who else? It was his mistress after all!

And so he seriously enquired about his mistress's crisis.
"Ah you are already so useless! What good would come out of telling you about things that doesn't concern you...huh? "
The little fellow was about to lash out in anger when Jun Jie's arrogant yet authoritative voice was heard again.
" Er... even so I'll tell you. Two is always better than one, I suppose so..." he turned to stare at him smiling wickedly, a smile which was not really a smile from any possible angle!
His purple eyes darkened appearing sinister, seeming to hatch up some notorious plot, as he continued on.
" This mugger here is after your mistress! He seems to have recognized her identity and has had set his sights upon her!... What an audacity you see!" he stared at Mio'er with angry eyes.
A sudden chill ran up Mio'er's spine.

Don't look at me like that I haven't done anything!
Mio'er grieved internally.
"I alone would have been enough to deal with him but the more the merrier, right? So I propose an alliance here. And I suggest you to Cooperate! " Jun Jie's menacing pupils warned the pitiful Mio'er.
Goodness! Why does he keep staring at me?
I'm about to wet my pants if he keeps on doing that!
Mio'er could hear a low growl escaping the latter's throat which he might have been trying hard to suppress.
The little guy trembled noticing the nasty smile on the latter's face, he tried guessing the unthinkable phenomenon this evil lord was going to execute.
Please, Spare me " Great Grandfather" and unleash your wrath on some other ones, not me!
Mio'er was well acquainted with this guy's nasty means. And so he relished in the misfortune that was about to befell his mistress's assailant for a moment there whilst internally praying so as not to ever fall victim to any of his schemes!

As for now he should enjoy himself in someone else's plight. Thinking so he let out a relieved sigh!
Well, Who asked that freak to go against his mistress? Why did he have to be so hell bent on meeting his end... heh?!
" Certainly, I wouldn't need your help but since you are already here... "

Ah... He would have tolerated this guy perhaps liked him to some extent if not for his arrogant mouth!

It was as if Mio'er couldn't take the latter's endless self conceited rambling any longer , he hastily agreed to the proposed offer with an eager nod.
He thought that it wouldn't be so bad teaming up to teach a lesson to some prick who had misbehaved with his mistress. After all, his precious mistress deserve only respect and any one who was so daring to disrespect her shouldn't think of having a good end!
At least not with him getting even with that damnable chump!

It was a pity that he still couldn't stop the latter from speaking further.
Aish! It is certainly not easy having a peaceful conversation with this guy!

" Heh? You are asking this lord to waste his brain cells on such a worthless mug! This is something you should be doing or else why would I even need you?" Jun Jie replied in a disdainful tone.
Was he perhaps wrong in guessing that this scheming Immortal lord was hatching up some notorious ploy?

It seemed everything currently depended entirely on him.
Although he thought so but he didn't in the least believed in the latter whose name famed over masses, terrifying them with only just his evil schemes!

No one knew how this guy had triumphed over such very many renowned figures without even lifting a finger!
It was said that he only just needed to use a little bit of his brain cells which was more than enough to deal with them. He possessed a mind that worked evilly fast and was deemed to be very different from others of his time. He was a genius. An evil genius through and through!
Fortunately, he had such a dashing mistress whose one look won this evil fellow over back then!

Mio'er could only describe the latter to be insanely faithful devotee, shamelessly clingy sycophant, dangerously evil scammer, skirt chasing enthusiast, desirously crafty hooligan and a mysteriously cunning rogue!

Oftentimes, he would even have had his suspicion up against the latter's character for he thought him to be too phony for his own good, a flamboyant deceiver through and through!

He had further deemed Jun Jie to be more faithful than a dog perhaps if he be so courageous to imagine.
Mio'er panicked internally soon after he had made such a comparison!
He reminisced about the past ridiculous events thanks to certain someone and incidents of glory when his mistress conquered every powerful entity, ever existed.
He new his mistress was the best among all and that no one could outwit her! Except for this annoying fellow who wreaked havoc whilst pulling wool over his mistress's eyes.

This time he needed to make preparations in advance to keep his naive mistress away from this mischief maker!
It maybe so that he could take up this chance to butter up to his mistress and holler up praises for himself, hehe?

He would then once again become his mistress's favourite and have more brownie points to his name compared to those fellow companions of his or rather those confined subordinates of his mistress who are still unable to break free!
Poor them!
