Chapter 8: I feel sadness, but the tears won't come..
As I was deep in thought I felt my foot come in contact with something as I started falling forward
*Thud*
"Ouch! What do you want now Hiroto?" I said looking up towards the perpetrator and his group. Still in pain from earlier this making it even worse. Even if the nurse did have a healing related quirk it was nowhere near a real doctor's level and didn't fully heal him.
He just looked at me smugly and smiled with his arms crossed: "Nothing, I was just paying you back for earlier."
'Paying me back?'
'PAYING ME BACK!?'
"A boy who has no reason to live other than abusing his father's name and power to assault other children is paying me back. It's funny how the same person who got rejected by a girl then resorted to bullying the same girl just to get some type of closure has the nerve to 'Pay me back'". As he finished his outburst everyone just looked at him shocked mouth hanging open.
As Riha realized that he just said that out loud he cursed himself.
"Well, I'm fucked."
True to his words Hiroto started powering up his quirk getting ready to attack. Riha without even giving him the chance to let the attack hit him dashed down the hallway. He knew it wouldn't help tho as one of them had an enhancement type quirk.
'Fuck, fuck, fuck, I just need to make it back to the classroom and I should be good. No matter how stupid Hiroto is he wouldn't attack me in the classroom.'
I sped up more as his classroom was just a little further ahead of me.
'What?'
When I tried to pull the door open it wouldn't even budge.
'Why is the door locke-'
I looked around and it finally struck me why the hallway was so empty and the doors were locked.
"School ended already. They waited for me to wake up..." When I came to that conclusion my mood worsened severely.
"You really don't like me that much that you would wait for me to wake up after school instead of going home and enjoying the rest of your day Hiroto? I stared at him with a look full of hatred
Hiroto and his group had already caught up to me, but Hiroto didn't say anything he just looked down at me and shot a laser at my other leg that wasn't as injured as the other one that he had shot before.
"ARGH" Unable to restrain my voice from coming out I yelled out in pain.
My legs unable to support my body any longer gave out and I fell face forward towards the ground only able to cushion my fall with my arms. Hiroto then shot two more lasers, one for each arm not even giving me the option to crawl.
And the beating started again
...
15 minutes later
15 minutes had passed and the beating was still going on, at this point, I was barely able to form one complete word. Also, there's a clock on the wall in the hallway that's how I knew 15 minutes passed.
*Creak*
Every motion in the hallway stopped as they heard the door from the principal's office creak around the hallway corner. Two pairs of footsteps echoed down the hallway coming towards their location at a somewhat slow pace, and finally, the owners of the footsteps turned the corner to see the horrific sight. It was my mother and the principal, but they only stayed there for a while and continued their conversation as they made their way towards the entrance of the school.
"Mom" my voice came out in a hoarse whisper as she acted like I wasn't there and walked out of the school. My tears were unwilling to come out as I passed out once again.
