Chapter 3: The Warmth of Familial Love and Introduction to the Raves Family
After coming out of his room Lian went downstairs to greet his new family. He was very excited about this, must know that he was an orphan in his previous life and the only person he felt familial love from was his master who was like his father.
Now in this new life of his Lian had a big family. He had a father, mother, grandfathers, grandmothers and even siblings. For someone like him who had never experienced the warmth of a true family this experience would be truly new to him.
Lian's father's name is Garrick Raves he was once a famous and powerful martial artist of the Heart Relic Realm - Middle Phase. He was known throughout the entire country due to his achievements in martial arts. He was basically revered as a powerhouse amongst martial artists. Unfortunately he met with a fatal injury while fighting against the rebel's revolutionary army which forced his martial arts level to drop down from Heart Relic Realm to Mortal Shedding Realm. Due to such an incident he was forced to retire as a martial artist and instead became a coach/instructor for young martial arts talents that have bright futures.
The martial arts levels in Gallanxia from weakest to strongest are as follows: [Body Forging Realm - Spirit Strengthening Realm - Astral Becoming Realm - Mortal Limit Realm - Mortal Shedding Realm - Achieving Mind Realm - Existence Core Realm - Martial Heart Realm - Heart Relic Realm - Entity Limit Realm - Void Entity Realm - Entity Merging Realm - Final Tempering Realm - Final Astral Realm - United Nexus Realm - Nova Nexus Realm]
Each realm is further divided into twelve phases: [Beginner Phase - Early Phase - Middle Phase - Late Phase - Complete Phase - Extreme Phase - Perfect Phase - Beyond Phase - Alpha Phase - Omega Phase - Fusion Phase - Mysterious Phase]
Lian and his family's home country is called Phallishion. Within this country the strongest martial artist is known to only be at the Heart Relic Realm - Perfect Phase there isn't anyone in the entire country known to have surpassed this martial arts level. Since most of Gallanxia's groundbreaking achievements were born because of martial arts, it would make sense that martial artists are the ones with the highest status in the entire Gallanxia world.
The country of Phallishion is divided by five major martial arts influences. Phallishion's northwestern region is ruled by the Blazing Wrath Tyrants, it's northeastern region is ruled by the Shadow Drakkar League, it's southwestern region is ruled by the Eagle Gales Forces, it's southeastern region is ruled by the Aqua Geyser Combatants and finally the central region is ruled by the Golden Griffon Legion. The presidents of these five martial arts influences are all in the Heart Relic Realm - Perfect Phase martial arts level, whatsmore they haven't broken through Heart Relic Realm - Beyond Phase in the last two-hundred plus years since they've achieved their current martial arts level.
After completely ingesting these informations from the original Lian's memories Lian finally had a better understanding of the current country he was in........Phallishion.
After getting downstairs Lian immediately made his way to the dining room where he saw a beautiful, slightly middle aged woman wiping the table. Seeing her Lian smiled, this woman was none other than his mother Sophia Raves.
Sophia is the mother of Lian and his six siblings. She is forty three years old and is currently a housewife who also happens to be a former martial artist. When she was still in high school she met and fell in love with Lian's father. Later after she and Garrick got married she decided to retire as a martial artist so that she could start a family with him.
Seeing her son walk into the dining room Sophia gave a warm and loving smile while sighing in relief: "Thank Goodness! You seem to be alright now son. You had me very worried when you came home from school too early with a really pale expression."
Feeling the love and concern of a mother from her words Lian felt a strong surge of warmth invade his chest. This was something he had never felt before even in his previous life. This was the love of a mother for her son.
Lian looked at his new mother who was looking at him with eyes full of love and said: "I'm fine now mom. It was just a stomach ache due to something I ate at school." After saying this Lian looked at the wall clock hanging by the side of the dining room and realized it was three o'clock in the afternoon.
Lian turned to his mother and said: "Mom.........Since I've pretty much skipped half a day's worth of school maybe I should go out and have a little run to get some exercise." But before his mother could reply an adorable little thing suddenly crashed into his stomach "oof!" the adorable little thing raised its adorable little head towards Lian with a cute little smile she shouted: "Fourth Bro!!!"
Lian is one of seven siblings. The eldest being Zander Raves an extremely talented martial arts genius and the Raves family's greatest pride. Zander is only twenty five years old and yet he has already reached Existence Core Realm as a martial artist while his father Garrick Raves only managed to reach that martial arts level at age thirty two. Due to this he is known as a super elite talent amongst the young and talented martial artists. He is currently attending Geyser Glow University for young martial elites and majoring in the course of ice based martial arts techniques. Zander is referred to by his siblings as Big Bro. Lian and his family live within the jurisdiction of the Aqua Geyser Combatants in the southeastern region of Phallishion.
The second born among the Raves siblings is Cecilia Raves who also happens to be a very talented martial artist, even though she hasn't reached her elder brother's level in martial arts. At age twenty two she has already reached Achieving Mind Realm - Complete Phase as a martial artist. Cementing her position as one of the country's most talented female martial arts geniuses. Coupled with her beauty that could bring about the downfall of empires she is regarded as the dream girl of most male martial artists throughout Phallishion. She is currently attending her final year of high school in Shard Sea's Academy. She is referred to by her siblings as Second Sis.
The third born among the siblings is Delilah Raves. Instead of becoming a martial artist like her elder brother and sister, Delilah decided to pursue becoming a Martial Hunter. A Martial hunter is basically the same as a martial artist that specializes in using weapons the only difference is Martial hunters use projectile weapons like guns, bows, throwing knives, etc. She is currently eighteen years old and is in her first year of high school in Shard Sea's Academy. Her trademark weapon is the bow and with it she has achieved Mortal Limit Realm - Early Phase as a martial hunter. She is referred to by her siblings as Third Sis.
The fourth born was none-other than Lian himself. When Lian was three months old he was diagnosed with a very weak and sickly body which was unsuitable for martial arts however thanks to some special meds and a healthy diet his body was able to become as healthy as that of a normal person's. Unfortunately it's still unsuitable for training martial arts which made the original Lian extremely depressed, after all he was born in a family of martial artists. Due to this his parents and elder siblings became very protective of him and doted on him as much as they could. Lian is thirteen years old and is in his first year of middle school in Emerald Stream Academy. Due to his body's disability for practicing martial arts the original Lian felt as if he would just be an embarrassment if he attended the same school as his siblings thus Lian asked his parents if he could go to Emerald Stream Academy instead of Shard Sea's Academy under the premise that its educational system is more suited to him. He is referred to by his siblings as Fourth Bro.
The fifth born is Rebecca Raves a.k.a Becky. Since Becky was born after Lian and due to Lian's weak body, Lian would always be the one staying home and babysitting after her thus resulting in Becky becoming very attached to him. Becky is currently three years old and is in her first year of kindergarten. She is referred to by her siblings as Little Fifth Sis.
The sixth and seventh born are twins. One boy and one girl their names are Raine Raves and Ria Raves they are both only two months old. They are referred to as Little Sixth Bro and Little Seventh Sis.
Gallanxia's Educational system's students ages:
Nursery School: 6 months old - 2 years old
Kindergarten: 3 years old - 5 years old
7 years of Elementary School: 6 years old - 12 years old
5 years of Middle School: 13 years old - 17 years old
5 years of High School: 18 years old - 22 years old
As for College it depends on the student whether they want to go to college or work in society instead. If they decide to pursue a normal course then they would be able to graduate from college in about three to four years but if they decide to pursue a martial arts based course instead then it would take them eight to nine years to finish.
Sophia glared at Becky that purposely crashed into Lian's stomach and sermoned her: "Rebecca! What are you doing?! Didn't i tell you your brother has a stomach ache!" After hearing her mother's sermon Becky looked at Lian with pouting lips and tears in her eyes, she asked: "Fourth Bro did I hurt you?" Looking at his adorable little sister's pouting face Lian could not help but smile and say: "Nope! I'm perfectly fine!" hearing her Fourth Bro is alright Becky raised her hands in joy and screamed: "YAY! Fourth Bro your the best!......hee....hee" Seeing her little sister jump for joy Lian smiled. He felt as if he himself is filled with joy. He could not help but be thankful to the divine power that reincarnated him into this new world. Even if it was only to meet this joyful little girl he felt as if it was all worth it.
Seeing the actions of her naughty little daughter, Sophia felt helpless. She sighed and said: "Seriously!..........You spoil her too much you know that son?.......By the way. Lian dear you said you wanted to go out for a run?! Is your body fine now? Maybe you should rest for a little while longer."
Once again Lian felt Sophia's motherly love from her words. Lian responded with a smile and said: "Mom I'm one hundred percent OK now. You can rest assured nothing will happen to me."
Sophia was still giving Lian a worried look but ultimately decided to believe in him. "Haaah......Ok then..... You can go out for a run. Just promise me you won't overdo it!" After saying that Sophia handed Lian a wallet full of paper money and said with a smile: "Since your going outside here's some cash you can spend. Try to have as much fun as you can outside ok son? You've been cooped up in your room studying ever since you started middle school a week ago. Even Though I'm quite happy that your so devoted to studying, it really isn't healthy for a thirteen year old boy to not go out and have fun. Oh! By the way Lian dear are there any cute girls in your cla......"
"Bye Mom, Bye Little Fifth Sis!!!" Slam! Before Sophia could finish her question Lian had already ran out the door as if he was fleeing for his life. He really didn't want to answer that question. Whether it's the current him or the original Lian they both felt like that subject was just way too embarrassing to discuss with your mom.
Seeing Lian quickly rushout the door Becky could not help but exclaim: "Waaaaaaaa!!!! Fourth Bro ranaway!!!" Sophia sighed and said: "Guess I'll just ask him next time."
Outside the house Lian was staring at the scorching afternoon sun and said: "This will be my first steps in exploring this new world............How Exciting!!!" Lian took a step forward anticipating his afternoon outside.
