"I plan to never let that happen again," Charlie wasn't loud in his declaration, but his eyes exuded limitless conviction, staking his life on his word.
Ancestor Vilart was taken aback on such volcanic determination exploding out of Charlie…
"I take back what I've asked, I will fully embrace death. Though I am young, I can understand it is not my time anymore. Come! Take what you can out of me! As your elder, it will reflect badly upon me, if I don't gift anything when I see a junior."
Charlie was baffled by the cheeky reply of the 18-year-old. However, the ease in his smile made Charlie realize that the young man fully meant what he said…
"What is your name? What is the past of the Vilart Family?"
"I am Kayden Hunt Vilart. The Vilart family had a glorious past. Now, we are surviving on dredges. The men of Vilart gave a lot to their Motherland. We are an old family name that existed even before the change in the kingship of Eskary. Hence, the royal family is wary of our existence. Kayden paused a bit, his eyes were lost in a daze before they quickly regained…
"I think I am dead, I feel disconnected to this space and feel a calling from somewhere high above. Quick, take what you can and want from me! I don't think I have much time!"
"I want your spiritual mark and the memories of your consciousness. However, if you were to help me take something from your consciousness, it may affect your reincarnation. Your existence may just be obliterated with just this depressed life. Although I am not sure of this conclusion, I have a feeling that this may be your end in the truest sense if you were to help me."
Baffled by what Charlie has said, Kayden took a moment to collect himself…
"Haha, I am envious of your drive to come back to life and take control of your fate. I am a man who has given up on life and now that I am dead, the idea of a new life seems lackluster to me, especially when I will have no memory of me in my next life. At least, leaving my memories with you, this life of mine is a bit more useful and will be remembered a bit longer."
As soon as he said all that, Kayden's spiritual phantom gently walked towards the purple spiritual orb of Charlie and reached out to touch him…
Charlie was caught off-guard, he did not expect Kayden to reach out to him. The concept of spirit and consciousness was still very new and fresh to Charlie. He has no idea of what will happen if two spiritual consciousness come in contact with each other. However, Charlie was not given the option to choose, as Kayden's phantom arm already touched the spiritual orb of Charlie.
BOOM!
The purple lightning that surrounded the spiritual orb of Charlie instantly changed into a small oriental dragon, which is long like a serpent with claws. It was completely made of purple lightning, the personified lightning deftly went and started to bite into the phantom form of Kayden. As soon as it did, memories and spiritual force started to seep into Charlie's consciousness and started to merge with him.
"No! Stop! How do I stop this! Kayden get back! I have no control over this! GET BACK!"
