Chapter 8: Sweet dreams
I laugh with him.
"don't worry I know you need rest." he said kissing my forehead.
"will you stay with me till I fall asleep?"
I can tell he was getting ready to leave.
when I asked he smiled and held me.
I woke up alone and in a lot of pain.
I move the covers and there is a lot of dried blood and crusty white stuff. I stand up, and walk to the spa area of the room. It takes me awhile, because it hurts some to walk.
I never in my wildest dreams thought this would happen to me.
After washing off, i dress in a robe, and head back to the bed. I don't want to be up. I look under the covers and see the bed is covered. I carefully cover it back up and peek out the door. A man is standing guard. I wonder if he was there all night?
"excuses me could you have Ming and Mang come to me I need some lady advance. " I say just poking my head out.
"yes, of course." He appears to be blushing I wonder what lady stuff he was thinking.
"oh and please don't allow any men other than my husband to enter." I smile as big as I can " Thank you so much." I shut the door and set on the small couch.
Before long Ming and Mang are there they have a cart of food, a chance of clothes and new bedding.
The twins are never smiling. Their faces are almost always exactly the same and when they change they do at the same time.
"Good morning ladies." I say smiling.
"It is evening ma'am. "
"wow, I must have been really tired."
"naturally, so please rest while we serve you."
"Thank you."
The Twins work so quickly. They first placed the food in front of me. Then a drink along with two pills.
"What are these?" I ask before taking them I trust they wouldn't hurt me but I am curious.
"They are for the baby." Ming answered.
"You don't think I'm pregnant yet do you? After just one night? I wasn't even ovulating last night." I'm kind of shocked maybe Demon babies are different. I take the pills right after responding.
" Your an unusual human." Mang
"am I? In what way?"
"forgive her that was inappropriate." Ming
"nonsense you two are my go to, I trust you and your intentions so don't fell the need to hide your thoughts. After all you are see so much of my personal life. you've known my husband for much longer than me. I want to know your thoughts."
"sorry"Ming.
"no no dont be sorry, tell me how am I weird?"
"I never said weird I said unusual." Mang
"if course and tell me how?"
"you aren't afraid at all." Mang
"is that the only reason?" they have continued to clean while talking.
"You want to shear a bed with him again." Mang said shiley.
"Well he is amazing. How could I not want to share a bed with my husband?"
"We heard stories that's all." Ming
"oh do tell."
"we shouldn't" Mang
"oh come on, please."
sigh * they even sigh at the same time. so cute.
"fine"
"come sit while we talk. I insist." I tell the girls.
" Well he has been married before." Mang
"ok.." I'm intrigued.
"although most suitors never made it past the Union ritual." Mang
"really?"
"Yep, infact your the first human to do so." Ming.
"that's cool." I smile.
"Your also the only one who desired his return." Ming.
"Most rejected him before the night ended, Saying he was just to much." Mang said Ming elbows her to tell her that's enough.
"I think I understand. I'm unusual because I want more. Because I'm not afraid of who he is or what he's done."
"yes." Ming
"anything else?"
"Your nice to us. You even say you trust us." Mang
"I do. I like you both."
"Why are you nice to us? Having us set like this is unusual, have never been asked by royalty to sit and gossip." Ming
"Well I hope it's not too uncomfortable for you two. I don't trust the other members of the house outside of my husband. I would like you to look at me as a friend, please."
"we will try." they answer together.
"It's so cute when you do that." I smile.
Just then Devin walks in the room Ming and Mang both stand up and bow. First to him and then me. They excuse themself from the room.
"Sorry Devin I haven't gotten dressed for the day the girls were making me feel right at home and I forgot I was still in my robe."
"It's fine. I'm glad to see your well?"
"it may take a couple days before I'm ready to try again, but I'm great." I smile.
"I didn't hurt you to bad?"
"not at all. I asked for all of it, and that's what I got."
"Are you sure?"
I laugh standing up and walking to him. It does still hurt a little bit just walking. I wrap my arms around his neck.
"I love you." I pull myself up to kiss him. "You won't get rid of me that easy. I heal quickly."
"That's good to hear." He kisses me. picking me up. "I can tell you are in pain, so don't push yourself. oh my blood."
"What about it?"
"do you want it?"
"Last time was really hot, but why?"
"The cut on your neck I healed completely not even a mark. Maybe I could help you heal there too?" He can be rather modest for a man who has been around so long.
"We can try but I'm afraid I'll push for round two before I'm physically ready if we do." I smile being totally honest is a little embarrassing.
"I can refrain." He said very seriously. " I just want you to be out of pain."
"I wasn't worried about your refrain. I was worried about my own. Like I said the blood was a really big turn on. Last time."
"I'll restrain you if necessary." he said laying me on the clean bed.
"Okay.. That sounds fun." I laugh.
he chuckles " Is everything a turn on for you?"
"No, just you. No one else has ever had me so hot and bothered." I say a little embarrassed.
rubbing his cheek as he leans closer I kiss him again.
"You spoil me with your words." Devin said taking his shirt off.
"I'm just honest with you" I watch him take off his uncomfortable dress clothes... "do you want my blood too?"
"would you mind?" he seems puzzled setting on the bed.
"I think it would be fun to do it like we did before." I set on his lap my back against his chest. I slide my robe off my shoulders. "you holding me from behind. while I drink from your wrist."
"Your very weird you know that?" he said slowly moving my hair off my neck.
"I know and you love my weirdness." I look back at him and smile.
