Chapter 22: part 20 (The real truth?)
The next day
Bakugo gets up early so he goes down to the kitchen to make food for Deku.
After cooking breakfast Bakugo goes back to Deku's room.
Bakugo walks in on Deku getting dressed.
"Hey Deku are.. Oh my god i'm sorry baby. Want me to step out?" -Bakugo
"No, it's fine. It's nothing you haven't seen before." -Deku
Bakugo laughs nervously
Deku finishes changing
"Here I made you breakfast." -Bakugo
"Oh thank you kacchan." -Deku
Deku kisses bakugo then sits down to eat
Bakugo sits on the other side of the room watching him
Deku looks up
"Is something wrong?" -Deku
Bakguo looks down then back up and meets Dekus eyes
"You're sure you're ok Deku." -Bakugo
Deku smiles "Yes im fine" -Deku
Deku looks away with a sad expression on his face.
"I'm sorry I have to lie to you kacchan." -In Dekus mind.
"I'm sorry i'm too scared to tell you the truth." - in Bakugo's mind.
The two boys sit there in silence. Just waiting for the other to break the silence.
Then a knock comes from the door.
Bakugo gets up and opens the door to reveal todoroki.
"Oh is Deku here" -Todoroki
"Ya" Bakugo turns around "Deku icy-hot is here to see you" -Bakugo
"Oh" Deku walks over to the door "Hey shoto" -Deku
Shoto smiles "Hey Deku, can we talk." -Shoto
"Um ya" -Deku
"Alone please." -Shoto
"Um… Ya let me put on my shoes and we can go for a walk." -Deku
2 minutes later Deku comes back to the door.
"Ok lets go" -Deku
Deku and shoto leaves the dorms
"So what is it you wanted to talk about?" -Deku
"You need to know the truth Midoriya" -Shoto
"The truth…. The truth of what?" -Deku
"About a lot of things." -Shoto
"What things?" -Deku
"The truth of Bakugo, the class, and everything you forgot." -Shoto
"What are you talking about shoto?" -Deku
"Look Deku, what you have been told is not the truth. Yes, you and Bakugo used to be childhood friends. But he wasn't nice to you. You told me how he used to bully you but you never hated him for it because he was kacchan. Because of that I used to think that you were weak. So I asked you one day why you don't hate him and you said it was because you loved him. I used to envy bakugo for having your heat like that when he didn't deserve it. But you just keep forgiving him over and over."
Shoto looks down then stops walking.
Deku stops and looks at shoto.
"The class knew this including me but bakugo begged us not to tell you anything. He told us this was his chance to make up for everything he has done to you. He said he needed to make it up to you or else he would never be able to face you not matter what happens. He wanted to do anything in his power to make you happy, and he has. But you need to know the truth and I felt like someone should tell you, I was hoping that Bakugo would have told you. But he still hasn't told you."
"Wait so what Dabi showed me was not the whole truth" -In Dekus mind.
Shto looks up to Deku who had tears in his eyes
"Your crying" -Shoto
Deku touched his face and was shocked when he felt the tears. He didn't even know he was crying.
"I…" -Deku
