Chapter 60: Be Nice to My Enemy

Only a person like him could come up with such a stupid method to get her to come to his house.

Elena entered her bedroom and found all of her stuff set up to where it should be. Her toothbrush was in the bathroom, all of her clothes were hung up neatly in the closet, and her blanket was folded on the bed.

If she were to pack up now, it would take forever for her to finish and go home. She had to film tomorrow very early in the morning. The director decided to squeeze the rest of her scenes into a two-day schedule, so she had a part in a bunch of scenes the next day.

Elena sighed and angrily cursed Lu Chenjun in her head. Why did he have to move her stuff today? Why did she have to finish dinner and return home at such a late time?

Elena had no choice but to stay here for one night. She began to pack the stuff she didn't need, so she wouldn't have as many things to organize the next day.

Lu Chenjun decided to wait a bit before going into Elena's room. He closed the door and entered his bedroom, sitting on the bed as he watched the clock move way too slowly.

Five minutes. He will wait five minutes before walking into Elena's room so he doesn't seem too desperate.

However, Chu Hua couldn't wait. She was shook after seeing Elena in this house. So that was what Fang Shi was doing earlier in the day. He was moving all of Elena's stuff back!

With the rise of her anger, Chu Hua couldn't think clearly anymore. She walked out of her room and to Elena's bedroom.

She had finally kicked Elena out of this house, so why was she back now? Earlier, Chu Hua thought that Fang Shi was moving stuff into that room so she could live there.

Chu Hua had been happy all day, thinking that she could finally move out of the guest room. Now, all her happiness and hopes of the day were destroyed. Because of Jin Yinghui!

With these thoughts in mind, Chu Hua got even angrier and she marched into Elena's room without even knocking.

Elena was surprised to see Chu Hua suddenly appear in her room, and she immediately noticed the anger and jealousy in Chu Hua's eyes.

"Hello, Chu Hua."

Chu Hua forced herself to suppress her anger as she squeezed out a smile, "Hello, Yinghui. What are you doing here?"

"Oh, I came to take my stuff away," Elena said as her gaze moved back to the clothes she was folding on the floor.

Chu Hua bit her lips to prevent herself from getting overly annoyed as she sat down on Elena's bed.

Elena raised one eyebrow at the sight and decided that she needed to wash her blankets when she got home.

Chu Hua watched as Elena completely ignored her and continued to pack her clothes. Chu Hua took a deep breath and stood up to go close the door.

Elena frowned, what was she trying to do?

When Chu Hua turned back around, her facial expression had completely changed. Chu Hua's confidence had greatly increased after Lu Chenjun listened to her and kicked Jin Yinghui out. She smiled at the thought as she sat back down on the bed.

There was no point in being all fake and nice towards Elena anymore. First, Lu Chenjun wasn't even here. Second, Jin Yinghui would be leaving soon anyways. Finally, why should she be nice to her enemy?

Elena could tell that Chu Hua had taken off her mask, but she didn't give much thought to it. Elena wasn't scared of Chu Hua's worthless confidence.

Seeing that Elena was still ignoring her, Chu Hua got even more frustrated.

"You don't have to keep acting in front of me, Jin Yinghui."

Once the clock hit five minutes, Lu Chenjun excitedly walked out of his room, quietly making his way over the floor.

Just as he was about to open the door, he heard voices coming from inside. Who could Elena be talking to?

"Are you talking about yourself, Chu Hua? No one can act better than you." Elena wasn't planning on being nice either. Why should she be nice to a white lotus like Chu Hua?

Chu Hua crossed her arms together, evidently satisfied that she was getting a response now. Chu Hua thought that Elena was mad because she knew that Lu Chenjun liked Chu Hua. This boosted Chu Hua's confidence even more. She wasn't going to let Elena off the hook so easily.

"We are all women, so I could easily notice that you like Lu Chenjun. Of course, women like you are all over the place. Who wouldn't like someone who is rich, powerful, handsome, and young? But, for your own good, I recommend you give up."

Elena rolled her eyes as she thought, 'I don't need your recommendation, b****.'

Chu Hua didn't notice Elena's small action, as she was physically and mentally shortsighted.

"Lu Chenjun will never like you. As you may know, I am Chenjun's childhood love. He has loved me for nine years, and this will not change."

Chu Hua smiled happily, but she quickly narrowed her eyes again as she glared at Elena.

"You think I will let you take Lu Chenjun away from me so easily. He will break up with you soon, so get emotionally prepared. Nobody. . . can take my position in Lu Chenjun's heart."

Elena sighed, how could she be so full of herself?

Chu Hua frowned when she saw Elena's impatience. Her voice got higher as she said snobbily, "I'm helping you, Jin Yinghui. Show some gratitude."

Elena finished folding all of her clothes and she picked them up to go put them into a suitcase.

"Thank you, but I don't need your help." Elena shrugged and lifted one eyebrow up.

Chu Hua's breathing got heavier as she stared at Elena's face, which was much prettier than hers. Looking at Elena's beautiful face and perfect body made Chu Hua think that Elena was just an evil vixen out to get her man.

"Do you like Lu Chenjun?" Chu Hua asked.

Elena's first reaction was to say no. However, after being a part of the entertainment industry for five years, Elena has learned a few things. Many people in the showbiz had sharp tongues that could easily get someone angry or put into an awkward situation.

Elena mischievously smiled and said, "No, I don't like him."

Elena's smile grew bigger when she saw Chu Hua heave a sigh of relief.

"I love him."
