Chapter 74: You're Screwed
What a stupid woman.
Chu Hua seemed to sense something was wrong as the sparkle in her eyes disappeared. She searched for words but nothing came out.
Lu Chenjun got off the bed and slowly began putting on his clothes.
"Didn't I tell you before not to lie to me?"
Chu Hua shuddered at the coldness in Lu Chenjun's voice, "What do you mean?"
Lu Chenjun finished buttoning his shirt and he turned to look at Chu Hua, "Are you stupid or do you think I'm stupid? Interesting how you're brave enough to drug my drink but not brave enough to do anything to me."
Chu Hua's breathing quickened and she knew her plan had failed, "I-"
"Who told you I was at the bar and who gave you those drugs?"
Chu Hua's eyes suddenly widened as she thought about Su Yan. If she was done for, she couldn't let Su Yan just get away like this.
"Su Yan! Su Yan! She came up with all of this, I just listened to her. This is all Su Yan's fault! I didn't do anything to you last night, we only slept next to each other. Su Yan was the one who told me to spike your drink, and she was the one who told me to send an image to Jin Yinghui. She did everything! Don't blame me, I didn't do anything!"
Out of nervousness, Chu Hua let everything slip. She thought that if she blamed everything on Su Yan, Lu Chenjun would let her go.
Lu Chenjun frowned when she heard Jin Yinghui's name. He had missed the dinner. She must be angry, Lu Chenjun thought.
Su Yan? The name sounded familiar but Lu Chenjun couldn't exactly pinpoint who it was. Before meeting Jin Yinghui, he had changed girlfriends as fast as he changed clothes. Su Yan was probably one of his ex-girlfriends.
Lu Chenjun looked down at Chu Hua and said slyly, "Do you think I'm gonna let you off the hook just because you told me everything? Looks like I was too easy on you when I kicked you out of the house. You need to learn your lesson."
Lu Chenjun's expression was so scary, Chu Hua immediately started crying. Just then, a loud bang sounded from the doorway and a man ran into the room.
Chu Hua screamed in surprise and grabbed the blanket to cover herself up.
Lu Chenjun glared at Fang Shi and said, "Your monthly bonus is all gone."
He sat down on the couch and asked, "Where is Yinghui?"
Fang Shi looked at Chu Hua and said, "Boss, what happened?"
"Where is Jin Yinghui?"
Fang Shi didn't expect his boss to be concerned about Jin Yinghui at the moment, but he could sense the urgency and frustration in Lu Chenjun's voice.
"I'm not sure. You left and no one knew where you went. The search team has been looking for you all night. At 8 o'clock, Miss Jin Yinghui got mad so she began eating by herself. Then. . . she received a message and became extremely angry and left."
Lu Chenjun threw an intense glare over at Chu Hua, and this caused her originally muffled cries to turn into loud and annoying sobs.
He stood up and walked towards the door, "Have some people watch her."
Lu Chenjun said as he pointed at Chu Hua, "No one can enter or leave the room without my permission."
He looked at Chu Hua one last time and said, "Chu Hua, you're screwed."
Lu Chenjun hurriedly exited the room with Fang Shi trailing behind him.
Chu Hua's body completely gave in and she laid down on the ground crying. Everything was perfect, so what went wrong?
'Why is everything always against me?'

In the car, Lu Chenjun thought about how he would apologize to Elena and hopefully find a way to express his true feelings to her.
"Fang Shi, find the closest flower shop."
Fang Shi was half-awake and the fatigue was getting to him. He picked up his phone and searched for a flower shop, wondering why his boss needed to get flowers.
Lu Chenjun walked into the shop and purchased the biggest bouquet of roses the shop provided. His mood was getting better as he thought about Elena, and he was relieved that Chu Hua didn't actually do anything to him.
Even so, he was going to punish Chu Hua and make her regret her decisions.
"Go to Yinghui's apartment building."

As Lu Chenjun was on the way to Elena's apartment, Elena was carrying her suitcases out of the car.
The airport bustled with people and nobody paid extra attention to Elena. A few people seemed to notice she was a celebrity as they pointed at her, but everyone was in a rush to catch their flight or go home.
Mila grabbed her backpack and turned to Elena, "Let's go."
Elena nodded and they walked into the airport together.
After completing all of the necessary steps, Elena and Mila sat down on the chairs in front of their boarding gate.
Mila immediately pulled out her phone and began searching for good restaurants and famous landmarks in Japan.
Elena turned to the side and looked out the huge glass window. Although she could only see airplanes and empty tracks, this didn't stop her from admiring the sight of the Jin Province.
She didn't know when she would be coming back again, so she wanted to take every chance she had to look at this place.
It seemed like this place was only filled with bad memories; getting kicked out of her house and now a sad relationship that was destined to fail.
Still, this was her birthplace and her homeland. Even with all the bad memories, there have been good ones too.
Elena smiled as she watched a plane land on the track.
"Mila, I'm going to go buy a drink."
Mila nodded without even looking up from her phone.
Elena slowly walked over to a coffee shop and ordered an Americano. She didn't like the food or drinks the airplane provided, so she always brought her own.
As she was waiting for her drink, she suddenly felt someone tap her on the shoulder.
Elena looked up from her phone and turned around.
Her eyes widened in shock and her mouth fell open.
Why was he here?
