Chapter 89: How to Get a Wife (8)
The original hopelessness disappeared and her eyes lit up when she saw Lu Chenjun!
"Lu Chenjun!" Elena screamed. It was as if there was light shining around him. Elena's heartbeat slowed down and she let her body relax onto the ground.
Zhao Liruo's eyes widened in shock and she stood up from the couch. Why was he here?

Lu Chenjun entered the VIP Private room three and looked around. Director Liu immediately walked over and wrapped her hands around Lu Chenjun's arm affectionately.
"You're here!" She said with a smile.
Lu Chenjun searched the room for Jin Yinghui and frowned when she didn't see her. He pulled his arm away and commanded coldly, "Don't touch me."
He turned around to leave but Director Liu grabbed onto him again, "Where are you going?"
Lu Chenjun's eyes narrowed and he glowered at Liu Xingyi, "I said, don't touch me."
Lu Chenjun harshly pushed her arm off and walked out of the room. He pulled out his phone and called Fang Shi.
"Check where Jin Yinghui's phone is."
"Yes, boss!"
When Elena was studying the script, Lu Chenjun had placed a small tracker into Jin Yinghui's handbag. He strongly hoped that she was using the same bag today.
A minute later, Fang Shi sent a message over to Lu Chenjun.
'She is at Xinjiu Bar.'
'Which room?'
A second later, Fang Shi replied, 'VIP private room number seven.'
'Come to the Xinjiu Bar now.'
Lu Chenjun clenched his fists and ran over to room number seven. The door was locked and he couldn't hear anything coming from inside the room.
The door was extremely thick and heavy, and Lu Chenjun wasn't sure if he would be able to kick it open. He lifted his leg out and stretched it to avoid any injuries.
Lu Chenjun turned around and leaned against the wall. He brought his left leg back, put his hands up, and kicked his leg forward as hard as he could.
The door swung open with a bang and Lu Chenjun immediately saw two men closing in on Elena, who was laying on the ground.
She looked up and screamed, "Lu Chenjun!"
Lu Chenjun's eyebrows knit together tightly and he walked in coldly. His eyes landed on Zhao Liruo and something clicked in his mind as she looked familiar.
Lu Chenjun walked over to Elena and helped her stand up.
"Who are you? Get out!" A man said as he hurriedly put on his pants.
Lu Chenjun looked at him and shot daggers from his eyes, "You don't want to know who I am."
Elena stuck her tongue out playfully at the man and this made him get even more angry.
"CEO Yang, do something about this!" The man said to his partner who was still rolling around on the floor in pain.
"Attack them," the man on the floor managed to say.
The two men standing up charged towards Lu Chenjun. Lu Chenjun pushed Elena back and narrowed his eyes.
In less than 30 seconds, the two old men were laying on the ground with bruises on their bodies.
Lu Chenjun held onto Elena's hand and brought her over to the couch, "Are you okay?"
Elena looked down at her tattered clothes and gulped. Was she okay?
Lu Chenjun's expression worsened at Elena's response and he pulled her into his embrace.
He turned towards the three men lying on the ground and asked, "Who are you?"
One of the men said confidently, "How dare you do this to us? He is the CEO of the Yang Corporation and we are his brothers. You are done for after today."
Lu Chenjun chuckled, "Yang Corporation?"
The Yang Corporation was a mid-sized company with a bad reputation in the industry. Lu Chenjun's LIQuan Company could easily end their revenue stream in a day.
There was a knock on the door and Fang Shi walked in. He walked over to Lu Chenjun and greeted, "Mr. Lu."
The three men on the ground frowned, "Mr. Lu?"
They eyed Lu Chenjun from head to toe and the oldest-looking of the three brothers gasped, "Could it be CEO Lu of the LIQuan Company?"
The other two immediately tensed up and looked towards their older brother. They all knew of the power the LIQuan Company had in the Jin Province. What do they do now?
The older brother's pain was replaced with shock and his voice trembled as he asked, "Are you really Director Lu from the LIQuan Company?"
Before Lu Chenjun could reply, Fang Shi rolled his eyes and said, "Open up your small eyes as wide as you can and get a good look at CEO Lu because you will never have the chance to again."
All of the three men simultaneously fell down onto the hard floor and their eyes darted around nervously. Zhao Liruo's body also gave in as she fell back against the couch. She was done for.
One of the younger brothers seemed to have realized that they were screwed, as he began to beg for forgiveness. He immediately knelt down and started banging his head onto the floor.
"Please forgive me, Director Lu. I didn't do anything!"
Lu Chenjun gently brushed his hand across Elena's face and she didn't move away, "Forgive you? You hurt my future wife and you think I will forgive you? That's funny!"
The other younger brother also knelt down, "I didn't hurt her. It's all them," he said as he pointed at his two brothers.
"Director Lu, please let me go." Tears started streaming down his chubby cheeks as he begged for forgiveness.
"Yinghui, should I forgive them?" Lu Chenjun asked Elena.
The three brothers immediately turned their gaze to Elena and started saying at the same time, "Please forgive me. That woman told us to do this! We didn't want to. Please forgive me!"
Elena looked down at her clothes and said, "They deserve to get punished."
Lu Chenjun smiled and said, "I agree. Who touched you?"
Elena looked at the three of them and said, "I think they all did."
Lu Chenjun raised one eyebrow and said, "Fang Shi, chop their hands off."
Fang Shi nodded and pulled out a butcher's knife out of nowhere.
Elena's eyes widened and she tapped Lu Chenjun on the chest, "I said they deserve to get punished, but not this punishment."
Lu Chenjun looked down at Elena's surprised face and he asked, "Do you think this is too light of a punishment?"
He scratched his head and frowned, "Am I going too easy on them?"
Elena's eyes widened even further and she whispered, "No! I didn't mean that. This punishment is too cruel."
Lu Chenjun caressed the back of Elena's head with his palm and said, "They should be grateful they didn't actually do something to you. If they did, the punishment would be much worse."
The screams of the three men sounded in the room and Elena quickly buried his head inside Lu Chenjun's chest to avoid looking at the gory scene.
At the sight, Zhao Liruo's face turned white. What would happen to her?
Lu Chenjun kissed Elena's head gently and said, "Fang Shi, call the ambulance. Someone has been hurt here."
Before the three men passed out, Lu Chenjun said, "Get ready to see the Yang Corporation collapse by tomorrow morning."
After that, the brothers fainted from excessive blood loss and fear.
Fang Shi pulled the three men out of the room and closed the door. Elena looked back up and winced when she saw the traces of blood on the floor.
Zhao Liruo quietly stood up and hoped to leave the room before anything happened to her.
"Where do you think you're going?" Lu Chenjun asked.
Zhao Liruo froze in place and looked towards Elena, begging for forgiveness with her eyes.
"Although you didn't do anything, you are the person that caused all of this. Do you think I will let you go this easily?"
Zhao Liruo fell onto the ground and began sobbing, "Director Liu told me to do all of this. She threatened me and told me that I will get replaced if I didn't do this. Please don't chop my hands off! I need them! I won't be able to act without them."
Lu Chenjun narrowed his eyes, "Don't worry, I never hurt a woman as punishment."
Some color returned to Zhao Liruo's face after hearing that.
"Since you love the entertainment industry so much, how about. . . I ban you forever in this industry."
