Chapter 131: Arlong Park.
Me and bellmere were currently making our way to the arlong pirates hideout. It wasn't really a hidden hideout considering it was a massive building with the arlong pirates flag flying high above it.
"It's not very inconspicuous." I say looking at the grand building.
"Coming from someone carrying a massive death scythe and pirating a ghost ship I don't really think you have much room to talk." Bellmere says looking at the building.
"This is true so are you excited to see your old 'Friends' again?" I ask her.
"Very." She says shooting some lookouts who were watching us from the wall.
I look at the people we are fighting. Fish people. I hate fish however here that kind of makes me racist. Bad stuff we can't have that so gotta keep an open mind. But the fact we are killing a group of fishmen doesn't really help.
We approach the gate surrounding the building and I put my foot on it before just kicking it off it's hinges into the distance with a boom.
"Quite a strong one aren't ya?" Bellmere remarks looking at my muscles.
"A little." I say blocking the bullets being fired at us with my scythe whirling around my hand.
Anyone unfortunate enough to get near is chopped into sushi. Atleast I think they count as sushi? Are fish people edible? Nevermind. The sound of gunshots and clanging metal ring out in the yard as we make our way towards the building.
There's screams and shouts for help as the pirate group is slowly killed off by either a hail of bullets or a screaming scythe.
Suddenly the door to the building explodes and a massive freakish looking man with some sort of blade like nose walks out.
"What the hell is with all the racket can't you idiots handle a few little intruders? And who dares intrude on my land are you asking for death?" He shouts before looking at us then seeing bellmere.
"No right now Death is in the middle of watching cartoons if I call her out right now she will probably just obliterate you all leaving me with nothing to do." I say pondering for a second while bellmere gives me a funny look.
"You! I killed you!" Arlong shouts in fear.
"Ah I brought her back since I need a pirate crew. The deal was however that you and your crew have to die. An acceptable bargain if I do say so myself." I say leaning on my scythe.
There's a scramble as he tries to flee to the water. Only to be met with a cruel punch smashing him into the ground by the angry woman.
"I should have killed you when I had the chance." She says proceeding to beat the absolute shit out of the fish man.
I hear bones breaking and she snapped off his nose sword. Literally she was stomping him to death while I watched.
"Make sure you keep his face intact I can probably persuade the marines to give me a bounty if we take in his head." I tell the enraged woman.
She listens and start stomping his manly bits with a nasty popping noise that makes even me wince. He lets out a girlish scream that is cut short as his nose blade is rammed through his chest.
At this point the other fishmen figure they are fucked so they do what they think is best and try to scatter. Only to collapse lifelessly a second later dropping to the ground with thuds.
"No one escapes death. Well accept you octopus boy consider yourself lucky I know a bit about you." I tell the last fish man who has eight arms and is shivering in terror. If I remember correctly he wants to be a chef and ironically opens up a shop selling fried octopus. Does that count as cannibalism?
Before he can flee I grab him by the shirt and drag him into the building.
"Where does arlong hide his loot? And if you touch me with one of those tentacles of yours I'll reconsider letting you live." I say terrifying the man.
He quickly shouts out directions and I make my way to arlong office sure enough there's a few gold bars and cash piles along with some coins. I snag all of those and the records of corrupt dealing with some of the officials.
Leaving the octopus man who I think wet himself I head back outside and drag off bellmere who was still kicking the dead body or arlong.
With a wave of my hand the heads roll off the bodies of the fish people and start floating behind me. I quickly put them in a big sack for transporting and so I don't have to see their dead fish like eyes that make me shiver. I really hate fish.
The big burlap sack floats behind us keeping he heads fresh and ready to be swapped in for bounty.
Bellmere seems much happier and is almost skipping in delight as we make our way back to her house.
Nojiko has stayed behind to pack up some travel gear and maps. We had also snagged namis stash she had hidden in the tangerine orchard of 93000000 Beri she had stolen over the last eight years. I bet she's going to be pissed you could buy a decent second hand ship for that amount.
"I take it everything went well?" Nojiko asks as we return. "Yep they are dead and your now part of the crew congratulations." I tell her.
She just smiles. "Thank you so much."
She quickly rushes out of the house to spread the good news to the villagers. There's soon shouts of joy from outside and the sounds of celebration.
I feel a pair of lips press on my forehead. I open my eyes and see bellmere smiling at me. "I really don't have any way to repay you for all you've done for me and my family but I would still like to thank you regardless." She says for once showing girlish charms.
"Well you can be my chef for now and we can work it out later." I say with a smile.
"Mm that works." She says happily going back to packing up some supplies.
