Chapter 50: Competition Part Final

I found myself in the hospital next to the competition grounds and I called the nurses while Cortana scanned me.
[Nothing major but you're going to feel lethargic for a while but the burn on your arm is going to take a while if left to natural healing.]
That's not bad at all, looking at my arm I noticed that there's a CAD shaped burn that's being covered with bandages I was able to see it thanks to my little X-ray vision trick...
I actually never used that for peeking after that one time.
After nurses came and call the doctors the representatives from the school and everything, in the end I was cleared with third degree burn on my arm which I healed it with Caster.
Then I got interrogated by Juumonji while Mari and Mayumi helplessly waited on the side.
"Data Fortification don't change the object visually"
"Well I mixed it with my reinforcement and while I was reinforcing it I decided to make it look good after all no one liked how my CAD looked with all those patterns on it" They can't prove it since CAD only did the Data Fortification and Reinforcement.
I did the rest on my own but they don't need to know that.
"Fujimaru tell me the truth do you have any connections to hundred familes?" Here comes the question I was waiting I planned for this.
"Juumonji senpai have you ever looked at my files?"
"No, why?"
"Look at the parent section and check your facts before pointing fingers again"
The only reason my name is not Kokonoe Ritsuka is because Yakumo didn't want to change it, so it's not a secret or anything people are just being stupid.
Also having Yakumo as my step father protects me from direct methods of the Ten Master Clans the unsavory ones I can handle but if they press on the political scene then I have to rely on my "dear old dad"
"Well, if that's all I should be going" I said my part, threw a candy towards Mayumi and left the hospital room to find my ever so worried friends.

They apparently didn't listen me, Tatsuya and I brought out the Golden Electric Silkworms but they didn't listen and a girl had an accident...
I am done with Juumonji at this point. Here I am trying to snip future plot points but no they had to ignore me even after I gave them the evidence, I had evidence!
Anyway we're watching Miyuki in her Mirage Bat match right now Tatsuya gone ahead and made the flight device earlier than expected it's not experimental but ready for selling, so it was given to everyone after Miyuki showed it off in her previous match.
The shape of the device didn't change but one can see some aesthetic lines going around the thing, it's good to know that my books are being put to good use.
Maybe the whole Magatama plot will never happen since Tatsuya already has a way to store magic sequences, I can only hope.
Naturally Miyuki won and we went to celebrate since this is the last day of the NSC tomorrow Juumonji has Monolith Code but that rip off Spartan won't lose it.
On the other hand Tatsuya went to "handle" No Head Dragon, which I am watching it through Kaleidoscope with my one eye while the other is focusing on the celebration.
It's good that he can't sense it otherwise it would be troublesome to make an excuse.
[Master... you need to come back to women I am getting worried, you're here for Mayumi not Tatsuya]

But damn Kyouko is beautiful unfortunately her personality doesn't suit me, I am even stretching it with Mayumi.
"Hey you look like imagining something were you thinking about me" Said girl just came and punched my shoulder.
"In fact I was, what are you going to do about it" I counter with my thick skin.
"Ah! I hope it's nothing naughty"
"Unfortunately it's not"

"It's nothing and you guys didn't experience tension if you call that tension" I was more worried when I was banging Simurgh.
"Ohh talking from experience?"

After that we kept talking while I watched Tatsuya play around with his targets for information I should warn him about the Black Sage beforehand it might save Erika's brother.

As expected Juumonji won and First High became the overall winner, I didn't bother with watching the ceremony.
I was too busy re checking my self hypnosis spell to mitigate the last night of the competition.
The problem with Self Hypnosis is that it doesn't stop the emotions it just puts it on a back log that you can suffer from at a later date.
This means I am going to spend the night screaming at my pillow due to all the embarrassment and anxiety catching up with me.
Sighing I put on my uniform and go to the venue, I practiced dancing thanks to Cortana highlighting the steps and giving my advise at the back of my head.
Mayumi will definitely dance with me and I rather not look and act stiff while stumbling.
Getting to the venue I spot Tatsuya...
I have a feeling I became a sidekick or something I am not sure but he's the only male friend I can resonate with.
[You think!?]
Going there we nod at each other while watching Mayumi drown amongst the males of other schools in a comical way.
It's not like I can go there and pull her out but I am reminded of that one video of a Crocodile getting lost in the army of hippos.
Eventually I am taken out of my thoughts when I see Tatsuya helping Masaki take Miyuki to dance.
Seeing this I went towards Shizuku and Honoka since I know Honoka is going to try to ask Tatsuya to dance.
Before Honoka was able to ask I ask Shizuku for a dance while muttering a silent "Follow my lead and don't ask questions" to Tatsuya who thankfully got the message.
From out there I forgot the number of girls I danced with and I am suspicious about some of them even being girls?
'They were girls right?'
[Luckily yes.]
I found Mayumi once more she looks done like I am about to nope out of existing done.
I silently move towards her so the lastest dude trying to woo her doesn't hear me coming and use a genjutsu to make him think he's still talking to Mayumi.
"You really need to learn how to reject people Kaicho" I say with smile.
"Eh Shh what are you saying?"
"Eh don't worry he's under genjutsu"
"What why!?"
"Retsu warned us about it at the start of the competition it's not my fault he didn't take the advice, I am going to make him think he got frustrated and left. Come on little bird you're free" Mayumi giggles to my little skit.
"Well why don't you take me to dance then my hero"
With this we started dancing while Mayumi complained about her position, while I gave too honest answers since I don't care due to my hypnosis.
"Fujimaru you act differently what's up" Mayumi says with a frown.
"I am not good in social events like this" I reply my face always has a gentle smile.
"You're doing perfect so far..." She can't finish her sentence.
"Self Hypnosis, going through all these anxiety is going to suck" I cringe but it goes to backlog of emotions.
"Don't tell me you find a way to cheat dancing as well" She says with a cheeky smile.
"Illusions help a lot when I try to find my steps"
"You're hopeless"
"I didn't have time to learn sorry"
"Well, I forgive you" I don't think I did anything to be forgiven but whatever.
I also released that no body he was really confused but my mental suggestion kept him from pursuing it.
After my dance with Mayumi I finally found my escape and went back to the familiar wall that protected me in the first Banquet, after a bit digging I found out that if you stay too close to the wall it makes a little mental interference spell using the little ritual circle on it.
It seems the builder of this place thought of people like me.

With the summer coming along I spend most of my time with my "dad" training me while he also picked out information from me.
I was also visiting Ushiyama from time to time to check on Ultrimatrix it's going good but it won't be finished for a while.
I am just hoping it will be finished by the time of Thesis competition.
On another note I got invited to Shizuku's family island for some holiday time.
