Chapter 25: Mike's entry to the Underworld
"Oh, so this is how the underworld looks like..."
Mike entered the underworld after hacking the system that governs immigration. Well, he just teleported directly, to be honest. Diehauser prepared the required things from the underworld and Mike took care of the outside part and also made sure that the system won't be alerted because of this teleportation. Currently, he is in a secret base that only Diehauser knows about.
"I seriously can't believe that there is a person other than Maou Ajuka Beelzebub who can achieve this feat." Diehauser expressed his surprise.
"Well, you can believe it now. Anyway, now that I am in the underworld, let's get to the main topic." Mike's expression became serious. Diehauser also put on the same expression. What they are about to discuss will decide the fate of the underworld.
"Let's start. My purpose is to meet one of the Maous and have peace talks. Sizerchs Lucifer would be the best choice and Serafall Leviathan would be the worst choice. Zekram Bael will just send me back. So, he isn't a choice."
"Do you want me to help you meet them?" Diehauser asked Mike.
"That would have been the normal case. But now it's different. We have another issue at hand."
"The King Piece..." Diehauser muttered.
"The Maous mostly know about this. They can't do anything about this. But I might be able to do something if we get hands on one of them. And if I executed my plan, I will have to go back to the human side without doing anything more here. Since staying after that would be a mess if they start to investigate." Mike stated what's in his mind.
"Then please do it! I can't keep silent and watch while the Rating Games which I enjoy be corrupted like that! I don't want more cases like Cleria! Who knows how many people were killed for this?! I know that these peace talks are very important to you but please choose Rating Games over it!" Diehauser expressed his feelings and pleaded Mike to do something about this,
"And if I refuse?"
"I would rather do it myself. I would get King Piece and the info about the corruption and spread it across the Underworld no matter how long it takes!" Diehauser stated what could have happened if Mike wasn't present in this world.
"You know the Underworld will be a mess if you did that, right?"
"Yes. But Underworld isn't so weak to fall just from that."
"You will not only put yourself but your whole family in danger."
"They would also agree with me. And I am sure that they would be proud if I did that. And besides, the next generation of the Belial Clan is already safe." Diehauser thought of his unborn relative and Cleria.
"Haa..." Mike sighed "Why didn't I meet one of the Maous instead of you? I guess I am a bit unlucky... Alright, let's postpone the peace talks. I will help you."
"Really?!"
"Yep. By the way, this is some info I got on this matter. Some of it is from your sister and some of it was collected directly by me."
"Wait, what do you mean you collected directly. From where? How?" Diehauser didn't understand how Mike was able to the info about this.
"What do you think I was doing at Kuoh? Your sister found this out through a hideout of Ajuka Beelzebub near Kuoh. They abandoned that after the incident. The data is deleted but my hacking skills are useful in retrieving it. In fact, I was surprised that they completely didn't destroy the place. It's like they wanted someone to get the data back. But then again, it will be a little tough to get it back if someone isn't on my level." Mike stated what he was doing when Nozomi and Irina are at school. After hearing Mike's words, Diehauser considered himself lucky for finding Mike.
"What are we going to do, Mike?"
"Simply put, We have to hack the Underworld itself. And for this large scale operation, there are a few important things that we need to secure first. The first thing we need is at least one of the King Pieces."
"We will get it. As I am involved with Rating Games, this would be possible for us." Diehauser stated.
"The second thing would be a secret base. We need to do this from a place where the whole underworld won't be able to find us."
"Isn't this place enough?" Diehauser asked about their current location.
"Don't even joke. We are playing with the Underworld, they will make sure to search every nook and cranny when things get serious. After we get the King Piece, I need to hide in a place that they will not even think of searching."
"I wonder if there's a place like that..." Diehauser thought that this operation failed even before it started.
"Hey, did you ever heard of this saying? 'The best place for a snake to hide is in the eagle's shadow.'"
"What do you mean by that?"
Mike didn't reply and only grinned at Diehauser's question.

(After a few days)
"Yes! If this experiment succeeded, then my research will be almost complete!"
A young man shouted in excitement! He was about to conduct the experiment that he dedicated his life to. But just when he was about to start it, he was interrupted by a voice.
"Hmm... I don't think that's a good idea..."
The man turned around to look at the source of the rugged voice only to find a short cloaked figure with a mask on his face. Well, the cloaked figure is just Mike in disguise and changed voice.
"Who are you?!"
"Leaving aside the matter of who I am, you should stop the experiment right now. You are sending energies on different wavelengths. They won't resonate. Instead, they will collide leading to an explosion. You are just committing suicide and also killing that innocent person with you."
Mike pointed to the other person who was in the area from the start. A young cat-lady who looks so young that people wouldn't believe that she is a mother of two girls.
"No way!" The man took out his papers and carefully went over his research again. It was the truth. This is going to blast. The man immediately dropped the plans on continuing this experiment. The man turned around to the cloaked figure.
"Oh, thank you for saving me! I would have died by this silly mistake. By the way, can I know about you now?"
"Ah... Alright. Let's see... My identity is secret. And I came to take over this place. So, could you silently cooperate with me along with that lady out there?" Mike said that and took out a bloodied-sword from another dimension.
"Husband! Get behind me!"The cat-lady immediately jumped in front of the young man and stood between him and Mike. She unleashed her Senjutsu arts.
"Oh, This is a surprise," Mike exclaimed.
"What do you mean take over?! Where is everyone?!" The young man asked Mike.
"Killed."
"How did you get past the security system?!"
"Breached."
"Why didn't the alarm sound?!"
"Hacked."
"What the hell are you?!"
"There are many answers to that question. Alright, now it's my turn. You are the chief researcher here, right?"
"Y-Yes..."
After confirming it, Mike turned to Nekoshou trying to protect this young man and asked "Do you know how many from your race were sacrificed for his research? Why are you protecting him?"
The Nekoshou faltered but still answered Mike. "I don't know about these sacrifices but I am his wife. I love him. So, I will protect him..."
"I see... Hey, do you love her?" Mike asked the young man hiding behind his 'self-proclaimed wife.'
"Huh... Y-Yes..." The young man lied so that the Nekoshou won't stop protecting him. But the next moment, Mike was behind him. "I might have left you alive if you at least told the truth..." and the man's head was sent flying before the Nekoshou could even make a move.
"Nooo!!!!" The Nekoshou cried looking at her "husband's" death. The Nekoshou kneeled over and kept crying and at her husband's dead body.
Looking at the scene of a woman crying over the person who doesn't even respect her love, Mike just had one thought in mind. "I really can't understand love after all..."

The identity of this Nekoshou and the young man are not really a secret. Most of you could guess what's happening. And for the obvious question 'Is she in the harem?'. My answer will always be the same. I will neither deny nor confirm the details about the harem except Gabriel.
Most of you might not have expected this situation because this is so unbelievable... Let's just say for now that the reason for this happening is that Mike is too OP and Mike's luck and plot armor are over 9000. And also, I_hate_tragedies...
The next chapter is going a explain a little bit more about how Mike got into this situation. I am butchering a lot of plot because of the release rate though. And for the release rate, I can't do anything about that, unfortunately. *sad author noises*]]]
