Chapter 43: Chapter 41 - Primal Ape
Brown hair started to grow all over his body from his legs to his torso. His actual hair elongated as well wrapping around his head and neck like a pillow. The shirt that he was wearing ripped like usual showing off his hairy chest and muscles. His pants were of a light blue with a nice red belt accenting his brown fur.
Everyone was stunned, even the kids and Raditz, this was their first time seeing such an absurd transformation as well. Great power was emanating from Goku, one that was on par with Vegeta's transformation but more compact and intense.
"W-What is that? What are y-you?" Vegeta had a premotion of what he had just become and he didn't like it one bit. As royalty, learning history was a reluctant objective he had to go through and what Goku was right now is incredibly similar to what he had heard in the legends.
"This is a result of perfectly controlling my Great Ape form and transforming it into something new. Its name in its traditional sense is the Perfect Ape form, but I like to call this the Primal Transformation." The reaction of everyone on the picnic was priceless, to say the least.
"This can not be!" His worst fears have come true. he has been ascended and left behind in the dust. His enormous fist came raining down on Goku, it was the size of his entire body. In response, however, he just lifted his palm and stopped the momentum.
Raditz was watching his brother achieve the impossible and outweighing the prince, respect could only go up. The children, Bulla and Gohan, admiration of their father went through the roof after seeing all the hard work that he has put through himself and them in action. As for the two newcomers, Caulifla was...drooling? Did I see that right?
Kale felt the tides changing, and what a huge tide it was. She was still reaching for the popcorn enjoying the show when she realized that Caulifla's hand was inside the bucket without doing anything. It was then when Kale noticed Caulifla looking at Goku with drool coming out of her mouth.
Not controlling her own feelings too well, instead of looking at Goku impressed, she gave him a death stare that could melt any person. That confident smirk did not deceive her at the slightest.
"You can not win Vegeta, give up now." Pride was a big part of Vegeta, but also one of the reasons why he is always doing things for his own self-interest. The reason why he is always on the edge of being a good person.
"NEVER! You will go down and kneel beneath me!" Such a huge blow to his ego, he would naturally deny it. A machine gun-style of punches tried its hardest to knock or even move the unperturbed Goku. The Primal Ape sighed and decided to end the match fast for everyone involved.
One well-timed uppercut caught the enraged monkey off his feet. The red in his eyes symbolizing rage slowly turned white as he slowly shrunk back to his original size. Raditz came down to help him up and Goku motioned for everyone to follow him.
They quickly arrived at the Turtle House putting Vegeta on the couch. Bulma, Roshi, and Krillin were there and greeted the newcomers. Caulifla and Kale felt very awkward at the situation as they were enemies just seconds ago.
Goku led Caulifla and Kale with Bulma following to discuss business while Raditz kept watching over Vegeta.
"This is the first time I heard that there were more Saiyans and female Saiyans as that. What happened and where were you people?" The interrogation quickly turned into Caulifla being a love-sick puppy and Kale hatefully added some bits.
They had memories of Planet Vegeta and living inside of it. It didn't feel like manufactured memories and Caulifla still had a brother like in the original. Their story was similar but at the same time, altered in a way to fit with the consistencies of this universe.
From what Caulifla could recall, the girl duo was called over to assist Vegeta and stayed with him when the order was called to return to Planet Vegeta. From what Goku could gather with all the information that he was given, he felt like for sure that someone or something sentient is at work.
His best guess was the Caulifla and Kale were someone integrated into the timeline like himself by this force. He needed to find out who or what this was, but he knew that he needed to get stronger before diving in too deep.
Kale wasn't the only one to notice Caulifla star-struck attitude after seeing Goku in that form, Bulma also took note of it during their conversation. How could you not when Caulifla would look at Goku constantly. Goku in all his dense nature did not even think of the possibility that the Saiyan girl liked him.
"Kakarrot! Vegeta is awake, it is time to show them." Raditz's voice could be heard from inside the house. They all entered the household to see the Saiyan Prince stirring. In the back, Chi-Chi and Krillin were entertaining the kids while Roshi was in the back somewhere.
"Are you calmed down? Ready to talk about why I asked you here?" Vegeta didn't anything and he didn't need to. His face said everything. The first thing Goku did was to give the new Scouters that were placed on the table to Bumla to block communication.
Reaching to a nearby bookcase, he fished out the copy of the Saiyan book that he had Raditz read on his first visit. Raditz has long read the real book, the copy was only there until they could prove their trustworthiness to him.
Caulifla curiously took the book and started to flip the pages indiscriminately. She immediately got bored and gave it to Kale.
"Kale read it for us please, reading is too boring for me." The worst part was that Kale didn't notice that she was displaying similar tendencies Caulifla that Caulifla had towards Goku...

"Frieza that bloody bastard!" Caulifla was lying upside down on the couch next to Vegeta who had his eyes closed listening to the majority of that time. He finally blew his fuse when he heard of everything that Frieza had done to his race.
Kale jumped when Vegeta had his outburst while Caulifla looked bored as ever as if she didn't care at all. Vegeta angrily took the book to look over everything that is on it to see if it was credible. What he noticed, in the beginning, was something that shocked him to his core that Goku slipped in the copy as a bait. It was the Table of Contents.
"Where did you get this copy Kakarrot and how does it have so much information?" Vegeta went right up to Goku's face. On the table, it clearly stated the Ape transformations and more, yet the copy didn't contain the details.
Goku pushed Vegeta so he wouldn't have to smell his stinky breath. "You don't own me Vegeta remember that." Goku placed that card there to trap Vegeta in multiple ways.
One so that he would have to trust the book as had presumably taught Goku a long lost technique. Two, it would make it so that Vegeta had to keep playing Goku's game be basically controlled by him if he wanted to learn the technique. And Three, as the Prince of Saiyans, his hunger for power and authority will keep on pushing the right buttons.
They stared at each other for a while longer until Goku broke the silence.
"I am not here to fight or argue, I have a proposition to make."
"Oh? And what do you have in mind?"
"We take the fight to Frieza, make him atone for his crime at the helm of our boot." Goku was stroking all the right buttons to make Vegeta go forward. And just like that, thoughts of a deceased Frieza overpowered Goku and his transformation. He immediately stormed out with the book and was able to fly off.
"Headed to your escape pod?"
"Of course! I shall be the one to have Frieza grovel!"
"Your strength right now isn't enough, I have a plan for you to grow stronger like Raditz so we have a chance against Frieza." Frankly, Goku was also scared of the enormous power of Frieza. With all of his power multiplication, he calculated that he is able to par Frieza. However, it was really important that he isn't the only one that has the power to protect others and others having the motivation to do so is crucial.
By exploiting Zenkai boots to a limited extent and regular training, he felt he had reached some sort of bottleneck. With the Primal Form unlocked a few months ago, it felt like his ceiling definitely grew but he understood that without Super Saiyan, going further with his base form a pipe dream. He needs it soon and the only feasible solution was to achieve it himself, unless...

A small crowd was surrounding a large ship in the yard of Capsule Corp.
"I will be back soon, do you have everything ready?" Goku was talking to Bulma while Vegeta waited near the spaceship. Goku, Vegeta, and Raditz were going to head towards Frieza's spaceship while Chi-chi piolet the ship. Chi-chi studied the controls and workings of the ship so much that she had as much knowledge as Bulma, the co-creator.
Caulifla and Kale were on the side of the ship as well but they decided not to go. Goku was passing them on the way to the spaceship before Caulifla talked to clarify something.
"Just so you know, I stayed behind not because you asked me to but because Kale wanted me to. It's not like your worry of something threatening Earth would actually be true." Kale indeed asked her stay but and in the typical Tsundere fashion, she convinced herself that Kale was the reason she was unable to follow Goku.
Goku asked Caulifla and Kale because they were going to be extremely strong once they trained in the Gravity Chamber in Cap Corp. They didn't really care about revenge and had some bad blood with Vegeta so there was really no reason for them to come. Besides, better be safe than sorry if an actual threat came to Earth.
Just as they were about to close the door to the spaceship, Goku halted Chi-chi when he saw an approaching figure in the distance.
"Piccolo, you made it. I knew that you were going to come." The person that came after them was in fact, Piccolo.
"I am just curious about my race. You said after Frieza we would go to Namek yes? I am only helping you because of that." As it is said in the saying, curiosity killed the cat. Chi-chi was taking off once Piccolo entered. They were decently high in the air before Goku was able to close the door again.
Like before, just as he was about to close it, two small shadows barged in just before it closed.
"Perfect timing Gohan! Way to go!" The two kids were laughing while their dad was under them from their tackle.
"Wait, guys! Leave the ship what are you doin-" No matter, what he said, they were already in space. On a one way lane to Frieza's spaceship to wreak havoc.
