Chapter 9: Phil Coulson
Liu Ruian was not surprised by Tony's reaction. After all, the other party was kept in dark by S.H.I.E.L.D. as of this moment.
"Calm down, Mr. Stark. Compared to what I'm going to say next, this one is nothing."
Tony's intuition tells him that this guy should not be lying. So after suppressing his shock Tony sat down again:
"Okay! I want to hear what amazing words you can say."
After putting the contract with little binding effect into the inner pocket of the suit, Liu Ruian smiled and said:
"You know, Mr. Iron Man in my eyes, your father is a magical person."
"However, I think you must be unclear. Your father not only left a relic in SHIELD, he is also one of the founders of SHIELD."
"what!!"

The reason why he gave himself another name was not that Liu Ruian forgot his ancestors.
In the world in which it he is now. Not only there are higher alien civilizations that are very powerful, but there are also mythological creatures and powers.
Although in the first stage of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there are no such powers, but in order to avoid someone using his real name and placing a curse on it, Liu Ruian decisively gave himself a pseudo-name.
As for why the name Haotian is used, it is mainly because the name can not only be used by mortals, but also has a decisive position in the court of Eastern deities.
Such as Haotian God, Haotian Tongming Palace Jade Emperor and so on.
Maybe because he like "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." an American drama that also originates from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Liu ruian has a good impression of Agent Coulson.
