Chapter 3: Prologue 3
Kiann Normad, 14 years old with black coloured hair, black coloured eyes, sharp nose and refined features that makes him more handsome which can also be considered a rarity among men.
Although he did not come from a prominent family and lives quite poor, he has a noble aura which makes him look like a rich kid but in truth, he is not.
What makes his story sadder is because he now lives alone, his parents died in a major accident that even shook the media world, a plane crash which took the lives of many.
As Kiann lives alone, he has to make a living to survive and also to continue his study so he made some part-time jobs that can be offered, he also becomes a waiter, errand boy and as such. At such a young age he worked way harder than his peers that many admired him of his persistence.
While Kiann's life is a little bit miserable, he still continues to persist because succumbing to fate will lead him to nothing.
Although he is poor, his house that his parents left for him still hold some money before they depart and also items some of which have been sold to others to gain extra income for his study.
And in his house, he still has his phone, laptop, tv, and other helpful for his daily lives.
Kiann stood in front of his laptop as he searched for some high salary part-time jobs to gain extra income.
As Kiann search for some offers, he noticed an ad which has an overbearing title "The first-ever game from where you can earn money without investment".
This statement piqued Kiann's interest so he clicked it and notice that this site is safe so he felt relieved because now, there are so many clickbait websites.
The game can only be played in browser and can't be installed, the game name is quite a unique one, "Sword and Mining" and it is quite easy to play, with the main objectives is to mine and fight.
Before you can mine you also have to find a gold mine first and the gold mine can't be easily mine you must have to claim it first and claiming it requires one to touch the gold mine and wait for 1 minute before you can claim and mine it, so sometimes fight is inevitable unless no one is around.
And once claimed there will be barrier formed as to protect the owner from harm while mining so the most boring part will be the mining itself so if you claimed one then you can standby your computer and it'll automatically mine but the mine itself is only limited and once the time is up it will disappear.
Killing an enemy (monster/players) can also grant you a bit of gold and items, so you can also gain that way not only in mining, and to earn real-life cash you have to convert it into the also newly released Quantum Coin or QCoin and from QCoin to Cash.
QCoin value is extremely volatile though and the conversion is not only a one-way conversion but multiple, from real cash to QCoin, or QCoin to game gold, or others.
Though now the value of QCoin is low it only amounts to 400 QCoin is equivalent to 1$, and 2 game gold coin is only about 1 QCoin, but still, Kiann thinks the game still fine so he tries to play it.
Kiann then pressed the sign-up button and put his email and his usual password in his account then he put his game nickname as 'Kie' and then pressed the start button.
Kiann character position is in a village where many players reside and this is a safe zone, there is no quest guide here though and its main objective varied.
Kiann then notices the map with naming in it, naming the place, and some shops. Kiann saw the weapon shop so he goes there to visit and also to buy one for his character cause he has none. he's totally barehanded.
After Kiann bought his sword weapon and a pickax and some stuff.
Kiann then started his journey to finding a mine to earn easy money and let his laptop standby.
Along the way kiann fought some monster and pick up some items and hides in it to sell for a considerable price, an hour passed what he only see is monsters and trees, no mines whatsoever he felt frustrated about it but can't do anything but proceed.
2 hours passed and kiann's character level up so far he only fights monster so his swordsmanship skills are the only one levelling up on his skills not yet for his mining skills.
As Kiann wandered deeper the monster become stronger so he stopped at a certain boundary from which the monster here is still in his capability in this place lacks players maybe because the map itself is wide or the players so far are too few compared to the wideness of the map.
Kiann explored every nick and cranny but only find monster not even players are here so kiann thought that maybe at this level. Only by killing a monster is the only way to earn gold, the mining will be in the higher level areas, so he tried to proceed forward and not long after he found one and this makes him excited because now he can officially mine.
Though there is a monster near the mine he still proceeds because it is money in his eyes.
And after a long fight with the monster, he finally defeated it and claimed the mine for himself officially as he clicked the mining process and go out of his room to take a bath and eat.
And after that, he studies for a bit and goes to sleep comfortably as he dreamed of a very wonderful dream of himself embracing a very beautiful otherworldly goddess.

Kiann woke up early and cook some food to eat before going to school afterwards he took a bath and brush his teeth and readied his stuff.
Kiann is about to leave when he remembered that his laptop is still on standby mode, so he checked the progressed first before going.
Although the character was still mining and there is a barrier for protection and see that he only mined about 700 gold coins barely reaching 1$ though he didn't know whether the electricity consumption is higher than what he earned though.
But still, he thinks it is a progress and because he is going to school and the mine is also about to disappear, he moved his character back to the safe zone and sell some stuff he gained from killing monsters and got only about 25gold.
After doing that he then logged out and shut down his laptop to cool it down after being overheated by being opened overnight, then he picked up his bag and proceed to leave and go to school.
He then walked towards his school that is only about 15 minutes of walking and before long he saw a familiar figure which seemed like waiting for him there.
"Kiann, here!" The woman shouted as she waved her hand towards kiann.
Kiann then walked towards her because so far she is the only closest friend of him and also a childhood one at that.
Her name is Aby, she has a beautiful figure with a red hair, red eyes and voluptuous body, her parents and my parents are friends so when both parties met along with us, that is also the time we became an acquaintance and by time, became friends and best friends.
By the time my parents died her parents offered me to lived there with them and adopt him, but he politely declines them because he wants to live in his home where his family lives for a long time before and once he agreed he and Aby will become siblings though he didn't admit and confess it. He still has some feelings for his childhood friend though he lacked the courage to say it in fear of being rejected and lost her completely, so he preferred to stay at his home and lived alone.
"Good morning." Kiann greeted.
"Good morning too," Aby replied back with a smile on her face.
The two then walked side by side talking and laughing together as they looked like a sweet couple although quite young.
And after a couple of minutes of walking the two arrived at the school where they will part ways.
"Hey, Kiann if you ever need help don't hesitate and look for me, I'll try my best to help you," Aby said as she patted my shoulder.
"Yes, I will, and thanks for your concern," he replied with a smile as they parted ways and go to their own classroom.
