Chapter 3: Leaving the Cave
Shen Tian's face was cold as he looked into a small puddle of water that dripped from the ceiling showing there was a body of water right above him.
Looking at his face through the reflection, he was shocked to see that both his right eye and left eye had a strange golden lotus design that gave it a sort of terrifying aura that caused Shen Tian to want to look away.
For Shen Tian, the last couple of days has been a lot for him to process but right now his heart was calm. It was a strange feeling but it seemed like his new mind had this ability to allow his mind to be free from any thoughts that would clog his ability to think clearly.
The Eternal Mind's abilities simply gave him a mind beyond gods. It increases one's perception speed and comprehension speed much beyond the human limit. In battle, he is able to slow down his perception of time so he can perceive everything around him much faster than time itself can keep up. The special ability of the Eternal Mind is its ability to produce Eternal Fate Shards that are able to be used as a pair of eyes in the sky, be used to spy on others, and be used to calculate fate itself through the mind comprehending the complexities of Heaven and Earth to see the future.
The Immortal Skeleton, like how the Eternal Mind made his mind godlike, gave him the strength of beyond gods. The Immortal Skeleton increases one's body strength immensely and creates energy called Immortal Chakra that is an energy that cannot be used outside of the body but can be used to strengthen both offensive and defensive abilities. The Immortal Chakra creates the Immortal Aegis that protects the body passively and gives each punch immense destructive capabilities and Immortal Boots that increase his speed to a shocking degree.
The Reincarnation Eyes and the Samsara Eyes have many abilities but he would have to cultivate to have access to those abilities. Right now, both eyes increase his perception and comprehension speed. The eyes would not have that much passive power for a normal human but its limits are broken due to the Eternal Mind allowing him to perceive everything around him like a 360-degree bubble and as he masters his eyes the bubble can grow larger and larger. He can copy most Arts with perfect accuracy and can memorize anything he looks at by just glancing at it. Both eyes can cast almost all Spell Arts and Illusion Arts without the Hand Signs or Chants associated.
There were 3 Ancient Clans with special Eyes similar to what he possesses were The Spirit Eye Clan, the Illusion Eye Clan, and the Martial Eye Clan.
Their eyes also increased their perception and comprehension abilities but not to the extent Shen Tian's eyes did. The Spirit Eye's special ability was it was able to see the Qi Pathways which is an ability that both of Shen Tian's eyes possess. The Illusion Eye's special ability was its Illusionary World which the Samsara Eye has a much more powerful version of the Illusionary world. The Martial Eye Clan had the ability to enter the Martial God State which allowed them to control the Qi within their bodies perfectly in battle and the Reincarnation Eye had a much more powerful version of this ability as well.
The 13 Ancient Clans were split into 3 groups: The God Elemental Clans, the God Eye Clans, and the God Beast Clans.
The God Elemental Clans were the Spirit Flame Clan, Spirit Wind Clan, Spirit Lightning Clan, Spirit Earth Clan, and Spirit Water Clan. The God Eye Clans were the Spirit Eye Clan, the Illusion Eye Clan, and the Martial Eye Clan. The God Beasts Clans were the Azure Dragon Clan, the White Beast Clan, the Black Tortoise Clan, and the Vermillion Bird Clan.
The last clan that didn't belong to any of the 3 groups was the Ancestral Clan. The Ancestral Clan has existed since the creation of the Domain and they are hailed as the ancestors of all life in the Domain. As such even though they are part of the 13 Ancient Clans they are the strongest force in the entire Domain with a countless number of inheritances and the largest number of upper-rank Warriors.
In this world, the first thing people care about is what is your Warrior Rank. Shen Tian himself at the young age of 12 had surpassed the 1st Rank Martial Practitioner to become a 2nd Rank Apprentice Warrior, the first stage where one actually gathers Qi in their bodies and forges a Qi Core which would be the foundation of their cultivation for the rest of their lives.
The 3rd Rank is called Initiate Warrior where you hone your control over Qi as well as the amount of Qi within your Core and create something that had been dubbed a Qi Ring. You advance your Warrior Rank by honing your control of Qi further and further by creating more Qi Rings around your Qi Core until you reach the peak of this Domain to become Immortal.
Right now, Shen Tian estimated his strength was at the Initiate Warrior and he might even be able to defeat weaker 4th Rank Disciple Warriors.
He had lost his Flame Elemental Spirit and his Lightning Elemental Spirit as his Spirit Core was destroyed so he knew he had to be extremely careful. He was still extremely quick as he used his Flash Step with only his Immortal Chakra but the Immortal Skeleton had made his fleshy body so strong that he was faster than the men who had been chasing him.
As he ran to the entrance of the cave he thought about everything happening "This is both a blessing and a curse. If anyone finds out about what is inside my body I am done for. But this power might be the only way I can catch up to those who plotted against my clan. I need to cultivate the Spirit God Scripture, it is the only way I will receive power beyond a normal cultivator and if I cultivate carefully I will be able to become stronger then everyone in this domain. I also need to get my hand on the 6 God Arts somehow. Getting revenge will be a simple matter and then I can completely focus on figuring out how to traverse the universe because there is much more to see than this tiny domain I live in."
Shen Tian had an even greater killing intent towards those who plotted against his clan but his eyes were also opened to the possibilities that exist beyond the world he knew. He was given a new goal that would push him beyond just getting revenge and this would stay in the back of his mind.
On Shen Tian's finger was a ring called a Spatial Ring and it's like a backpack that fits inside a small ring. Within this Spatial Ring were the Spirit Inheritance Stone of the Spirit Flame Clan, millions of Spirit Stones, mountains of resources, and the Spirit Flame Clan's 2 Ancestral Treasures.
The 2 treasures were the Star Refinement Furnace and the Star Fury Needle. The Star Refinement Furnace and the Star Fury Needle were created by the same Star that had somehow refined itself into an artifact and landed in the Domain. A long time ago, when the Spirit Flame Clan was called the Yang Clan, one of the Clan Ancestors found these treasures by luck and the clan which had no treasures at the time made it an Ancestral Treasure and it was what allowed the Patriarchs at the time to dominate the battlefields and what allowed the clan to get 2 of the 6 God Arts during the war for them.
The Star Refinement Furnace was one of the most powerful in the world as it is able to enhance all flames used on the furnace as well as remove every impurity within anything inside the furnace to allowing it to refine or forge powerful and pure pills and artifacts for the clan and it had both defensive Spiritual Runes and Spiritual Runes for refinement. The Star Fury Needle wasn't just a normal tiny needle, but it was able to grow and shrink at the wielder's will and it had the ability to enhance the flames of the wielder similar to the furnace but it had multiple Spiritual Runes on the treasure which gave it immensely powerful abilities.
Spiritual Runes were runes created by people called Spiritualists who were people that had more mental power than others allowing them to control their Qi at a more precise level allowing them to condense these Spiritual Runes that possess special abilities to use in forging artifacts, refining pills, and building spiritual arrays.
Shen Tian had noticed that the clan also had a strange book called the Spiritualist Codex and it had all sorts of Spiritual Rune Designs for pills, artifacts, and arrays. With his Eternal Mind and special Eyes he knew he would be able to step into the Spiritualist world with ease.
Breaking open the rocks covering the entrance of the cave, he quickly used Flash Step to leave the Forest of the Evil God as he was confident that those men would have left and there was a high chance he was going to be reported dead. After all, what were the chances of a child being able to survive in the Forest that even peak beings stay clear off?
Shen Tian didn't go in the direction of his clan but went to the east where he knew a giant city called Silver Leaf City existed. It was a major merchant city of the Grand Xia Empire and he knew with a million Spirit Stones which was the currency used by Warriors in the entire Domain, he would be able to get some things to help him out.
