Chapter 2: The Beginning
I have always been poor since birth, I had nothing left in this miserable life I'm stuck in. When I was offered a chance for a new beginning, I took it. I didn't care about the cost my actions would cause. If there was even a little chance for a better life I would take it at all cost. I already lost everything, what else could I possibly lose. I was happy, the thing I have longed for was finally coming true, or so I thought. Darkness. That is all I saw after, complete darkness. Then screams, not any screams, screams of my mother as I watched her helplessly get murdered in front of me. A complete reminder of how helpless I was and still am to those close to me.
I woke in the middle of nowhere, from that unforgettable nightmare. No one to be seen, No one to be heard. I lay there, hoping to be in a deep dream, hoping to wake in my mess of an apartment, alone as I have been my whole life. Laying there motionless, like a bear in hibernation. I get up, I look and look and look, hoping for a way out. All around me are trees, No birds to be heard, No animals to be watching. I walked and walked and walked for hours until I came to what looked to be an old abandoned shack... and then I saw it.
