Chapter 3: Dawn of a new day
Every morning before opening my eyes I always notice white lines going across my vision almost letters and numbers trying to form together to say something but never makes any does sense as it always remains so scrambled. Not wanting to get a headache I rubbed my head a bit while blinking to make it go away, as I got up from where I had spent the previous night in, being under a few bushes and loads of tall grass to keep myself hidden from anyone trying to still find me.
Trying to peek out from in between the grass and hope to not spot anything that might be outside my hiding spot, but luckily I found nothing. After seeing nothing was there, I decided to come out of hiding starting to look over across the bay slightly regretting having to get wet again. but deals with it and takes a dip into the water to feel the cold regretting of it again, my scales doing hardly anything to keep out the cold water taking small jumps from rock to rock to make it across to the other side feeling the bay slowly start to get shallow again.
looking up to see an orange dragon flying my direction, with it carrying a handful of sand. coming in for a landing nearby. Not knowing if he wanted to come and harm me as those other people did, I ran back out into the water and dived in closing my eyes hoping the other dragon did not notice me under the water. After a few seconds of being under the water, I feel a small tap on my right side making me slowly raise from the water while turning to look in that direction seeing a humanoid looking dragon.
Surprised to see a strange-looking dragon-like human, I relaxed just a bit but still stayed on edge as I've never seen one before, asking.
me: "wh..where did the dragon go?.. and who are you?"
Winza: Hello there ma'am I'm Winza! An S rank adventurer, and for that dragon, you're looking at him. also may I ask who are you are?
Etara: h..hi winza I'm etara, you were that orange dragon I saw just a few moments ago?
Winza: well yeah, I am orange after all, I didn't think it would be too hard to notice I was that dragon.
Etara: Sorry I'm a bit slow to new things, uhm.. do you think you can show me to the closest city? I don't have any money and I kind of need a way to make some if I want to do anything really costly.
Winza: Costly? Like what so if I may ask?
Etara: maybe clothes for a starter.
Winza: I was going to ask about that but opted not to in your current state, but yeah I know a place you can sign up at the guild to be an adventure. like me! Come with me to dragon city and we can get that done, oh wait hmm it costs money to get a started. Ah, I'll just pay for your entrance fee and you can just pay me back later. How does that sound?
Etara: Yes please! ... if you don't mind, and thank you Winza for helping me.
Winza: No problem just don't forget to pay me back later hah.
Etara: Lead the way winza!
