Chapter 34: Senju Araki vs Uchiha Clan Descendants (1)
It had been a few days since Araki met up with Uchiha Madara. Currently, he was having a pleasant conversation with Kushina while walking towards the Uchiha Clan District.
He didn't want to split up from her and didn't plan to hide the fact that he would be co-operating with the Uchiha Clan.
Kushina continued to talk with him while they travelled to the Uchiha Clan District. Kurama wasn't pleased when he heard that they would be going to Uchiha Clan District. However, knowing that Araki would be beating these detestable Uchihas, he had an excited expression.
He planned on enjoying the show of those damned Uchihas being beaten by a mere kid! Moreover, a Senju kid…
Talking like that, they soon reached the Uchiha Clan District.
Many Uchiha Clan Members saw Araki enter the district, but no one stopped him. They all held a challenging grin on their faces. It seemed that each one was excited to show what they were made of.
Kurama snickered upon seeing the proud looks on the faces of these Uchiha Clan members.
After having walked for some time, they finally reached the place. Araki noticed a large platform on which Uchiha Kazuma was standing. He turned towards Araki and then towards Kushina before frowning a little, "Is this Uzumaki Kushina? Is she going to take part in this competition?"
Others might not be aware of the secret information, but he was well aware that Kushina was the Kyuubi's Jinchuriki. Moreover, there was a rumour spreading in the elemental nations that a young boy with Mokuten and a young Jinchuriki had heavily damaged the Three Great Villages forces.
Upon Uchiha Kazuma's question, Araki shook his head, "No… I will be the one to fight. She will just watch the fight."
"Very well, then. I heard from the Hokage that you are 8-year-old. There are only a few 8-year old Uchiha kids, I wanted to ask if you would be fine with an older opponent." Uchiha Kazuma stated while staring at Araki.
With an indifferent look on his face, "As long as they are only a few years older than me."
"Very well, that's acceptable." Uchiha Kazuma stated before turning towards the Uchiha Clan Members.
"Everyone, this boy before you is Senju Araki. He has inherited the Wood Release of Senju Hashirama, the First Hokage of Konoha. You have already heard the details of the deal. As long as you bring him down, you would be bringing honour to the Uchiha Clan. Is there anyone who wants to step up for the pride of the Uchiha Clan?" Uchiha Kazuma asked the other members of the Uchiha Clan.
Many of the fathers then turned towards their young sons and urged them to go up and prove their power.
These children naturally wanted their parents to praise them. And they also wanted to defeat a Senju Clan Member themselves. So, they immediately raised their hand and shouted, "Me!"
"No, Me. Go! FIRST!"
"No, I will go first!"
"I can beat you easily, you would just embarrass the Uchiha Clan. I will go and defeat a Senju Clan Member!"
"Hrghh! I will still go! I can definitely beat him!"
These reactions surprised Senju Araki. Although he knew there was a great rivalry between the Senju and Uchiha, he never expected it was so fierce.
Unconsciously, he started experiencing goosebumps all over his body. Was this how it felt when his ancestors fought against the Uchihas? He couldn't help but admit that he was quite excited right now.
Maybe, he was also looking forward to humiliating the Uchiha Clan in a battle.
As he looked around, his eyes stopped on a young boy who mysteriously smiled in his direction. He had a similar look as of other Uchihas with dark black hairs and completely black eyes. Araki didn't know why, but this boy interested him a little.
Shaking his head at that thought, he turned towards Uchiha Kazuma, "Please send them in the order of their age. The youngest can come first while the eldest can come last."
"I was thinking of the same thing." Uchiha Kazuma seemed to have the same plan in his mind.
"Uchiha Jirou. Come forward, you are nearly 8-year-old. You will fight against Senju Araki."
"Yes, Clan head!" The little boy named Uchiha Jirou immediately replied while jumping on top of the platform.
Many of the other children lowered their heads. They wanted to go first, but alas, they were a few days older than Uchiha Jirou.
Uchiha Kazuma waited for some moments before announcing, "And thus, I announce this battle to start. Uchiha Shinjiro shall be the one officiating this match and the matches ahead."
"Yes, clan head." Uchiha Shinjiro immediately gave his consent to the decision of the Uchiha Clan Head.
Araki gave a short bow to Uchiha Jirou before speaking, "Let's have a good match." He gave a smile after speaking.
Uchiha Jirou replied with a grunt, "Hnn…"
The two waited for Uchiha Kazuma and Uchiha Shinjiro to get down from the platform.
Uchiha Jirou immediately started making some hand-seals after Uchiha Kazuma, and Uchiha Shinjiro gets down from the platform.
This was the standard technique of the Uchiha Clan.
"Fire Release: Great Fireball Jutsu!"
The first Jutsu Uchiha Jirou decides to use was the Great Fireball Jutsu.
Araki was a little caught off-guard at why this guy used an elemental Jutsu so quick in the combat. But, he responded immediately by using one seal and saying, "Water Release: Water Wall Jutsu!"
He controlled the moisture in the air and created a wall of water in front of his body.
This level of control over Water Chakra did not escape Uchiha Kazuma's eyes. A smile appeared on his lips as he thought in his head 'It seems that this kid doesn't just have Senju Hashirama's Bloodline, he even has the control over the water like Senju Tobirama. Quite the monstrous potential…'
The other Uchihas were using their Sharingan to copy any techniques which were going to be used by Araki.
Araki didn't wait for Uchiha Jirou to attack at this time and moved faster. Pulling out his sword from the sheath while running towards Uchiha Jirou who had pulled out a Kunai before charging at Araki.
Araki didn't even need to think about what he should do against such a frontal attack. He raised his sword and attacked the Kunai in his hand.
The Kunai was hit with such force that it slipped out of Uchiha Jirou's weak grip. After the Kunai slipped away from Uchiha Jirou's slip, he thrust the sword right near Uchiha Jirou's throat.
"Admit defeat right now or…" He said while showing off his full killing intent.
Uchiha Jirou showed off a frightened look, and he backed away because of that burst of killing intent.
As if his interest had waned, Araki turned towards the other Uchiha Clan members while pointing his sword at them, "Next one…"
"This bastard!" Entire Uchiha Clan seemed to blow up at Senju Araki. They couldn't believe that a Senju clan would dare to utter such words with that indifferent and arrogant look.
Kushina felt a little weird while she stood near the angered Uchiha Clan. Meanwhile, Kurama was having a blast in her mind. He even seemed to be giving ideas of some techniques to Kushina so she could tell it to Araki. And he could use it on these Uchiha.
Uchiha Kazuma smiled faintly upon seeing this scene. This was precisely what he was aiming for.
In these years, he had felt that the skills of the Shinobi of the Uchiha Clan were slowly degrading. Now that the Senju Clan had nearly reduced to nothing, the Uchiha Clan Members had reduced their training. It was as if the fire in their hearts had died down.
Someone needed to lit up that fire again to make them break past their limits and become strong again. This was what Uchiha Kazuma wanted from Araki. He wanted Araki to lit up that flame in their hearts.
