Chapter 2: Chapter 2 : the unexplained
'What's going on? I'm sure I died. Is this what death feels like?'. She opened her eyes to see a blue sky. The girl shot up, confused. 'What's the last thing I remember?...'the girl then tried to stand up so she could run away. Far, far away. What she remember was the fire. Her parents. Her death. She couldn't run. Filled with fear and greath, she couldn't do anything but cry. "Hey, hey. It's okay. Your safe." Said a voice coming from next to her. It was the man who saved her. The man who helped her.
After she had calmed down she proceeded to take in her surroundings. She was at a camp site covered in grass and flowers. In the distance a blurry shape, buildings maybe. "I should probably introduce myself, I'm Benjamin Creek. Sounds like a place, right?". He said to lighten the mood. The girl laughed."I-I'm I'm. Uh. I'm."Her soft voice trembled. The girl was trying to remember her name. She was confused, how can she not know her name. "Hey, hey its okay. You do you not remember. " The girl nodded. "Don't worry. It's okay you went through something horrible... I know how about I call you, Hope."He said, he decided on that name because of the impossible thing that happened to her. "Hope" She said with her hands on her heart. She smiled at him. "Do you remember what happened to you" he said as softly as he could. " I. I remember it was dark, and. And it was hot, really hot. Umm. And then you helping me from the dark." She was really trying to remember but that was all she could remember. "Do you remember anything before that. Befor the incident." She tried, but there was nothing. Suddenly it was like thunder went off in her head. She rapidly moved her hands to her head. " ok let's stop there. We should start moving.". They packed up camp and moved towards the buildings.

They reached a pair of big gates with guards on each side." State your name and -"one of the guards began to say before Benjamin cut him off with " cut the crap jinx. You know who I am" .
"I was just doing my job" he replied as his whole demeanor changed. "Who's the wee lass?". As he began to relax abit a prominent Scottish accent broke through his tight amrican one. Benjamin whispered to jinx and he suddenly went serious again. Jinx then proceeded to call someone.

After Benj Finished talking to the guard he didn't look happy. He took me to a huge building and we were greeted by some fancy people. Benj was talking with them but I couldn't hear what he was saying. But they gave me something called ice cream. It was sweet but cold, and If I ate it to fast my head would start hurting. It was evil but tempting. I ate the whole thing. Hehe. Once I finished eating Benj said that he had to go away but would come back soon. I didn't want him to leave. I just smiled and wished him good luck. Um, then I sorta hugged him. He left. The fancy man come up to me and said " now lest find out this unexplained ability of yours. I felt a pain in my neck and everything went dark. The next thing knew I was strapped to a table. A man was cutting in to me. I tried to scream but there was nothing but a pain in my throat.

I made my report and she'll be put into care. She's safe now. So why do I feel bad. I did the right thing.
