Chapter 4: Gold Exchange and Plans

Crynn POV

"Shouldn't have robbed the bank... Shouldn't have robbed the bank," I thought to myself all throughout my journey towards the brick walls of the leaky cauldron that separate the two worlds apart. "Why the hell did I not use a mask! My face will be all over the Daily Prophet in just hours after this incident!" I am beyond furious at the moment. "And they expect me to sneak into Hogwarts, the most (publicly known) secure place in wizarding Britain! How am I to do that!" All this thinking in my head is getting me exhausted and mad.

Increasing my walking pace, I finally found the infamous brick walls after a few minutes. "How do you do this again?" I said to myself before bringing my wand and tapped on the bricks around a hole in a following sequence, lower left brick than upper left brick, upper brick, upper right brick and finally tapped on the final lower right brick. The bricks suddenly turned itself and following it ever brick in the wall turned like a grinder and a passage appeared, the way the passage opened is as amazing as what it potrayed as in the movie.

Walking through the passage, I made my way towards the main room of Leaky Cauldron where you can see the bustle and hustle of the pub, completely ignorant of what just happened. I can see that the main owner of the pub, Tom looking quite pleased, no doubt a result of meeting Harry Potter. I quickly got out of the pub. The first order of business would be money. I need money and where to go other than London Gold Central, a place to sell all the gold. It's truly a pity I can't sell Galleons because they are 100% pure gold and thus are kept firmly in magic, because gold in a form so pure is too soft and would break apart in a touch. Can't be breaking the Statute of Secrecy anytime soon.

I have no idea where everything is in London. Never went there, I'm absolutely clueless. I began asking people on where the Gold Central might be. After a few questions and answers, I made my way there. It's quite a hassle to walk all over London just to go to a single Gold Central. "Hello how can I help you?" An employee of Gold Central asked when I went to to the reception. "I need to exchange a gold bar for some pounds." "I... I believe this is not within my jurisdiction, let me make some calls," the man stuttered, obviously surprised that someone came to sell a bar of gold, not an everyday occurance i assure you.

A few minutes later after being led to a guest waiting room, a man with a top hat and wearing an exquisite tailored suit walked in, very old fashioned for the 1990s but it matches the man's stout and plump stature. "I came in as soon as I can when I heard of you selling a gold bar, Mr..." "Avter," I answered. "Well Mr Avter, I need to look and weigh the gold before judging the price," The man said with a smile. I opened my suitcase and got a bar of gold out, surprising the man. "If you please Mr Avter," I nodded and gave him the bar. Carefully holding the bar with white silk gloves and brought his eyes closer to the bar, he then continued on to weigh the bar on a mechanical scaler and after a few moments of checking and procedures, he said, "This gold bar weighs 35 ounces (1 kg) and costs £38000. I immediately accepted and requested it in cash, I have always hated credit cards for all their worth.

The man immediately complied and brought a literal suitcase full of cash. I accepted and sealed it with a handshake. Finally getting myself some decent cash. I settled myself in a motel, and immediately started making plans on my grand Philosopher's Stone heist that is going to happen soon enough. "No way am I to steal it with a room of trolls guarding it," I muttered. "I'll need to steal it in the end of the term exams when the Golden Trio enters the trapdoor, that will be the most easiest way," I have decided to just go with it. The bonus objectives are absurd, beating Dumbledore? Get some phoenix tears? Impossible! "How am I even supposed to use spells?" I wondered after remembering the awkward incident where i shouted a spell with confidence but nothing came out of the end of my wand.

"Let me try again," pointing to a pen by the nightstand with my wand, I spelled, "Wingardium Leviosa," in a way that would make Hermione proud but to my dissapointment.

{Skill : Wingardium Leviosa Not Found in Database}

"How am I supposed to learn the skill then! What is this f*ing database," I'm very frustrated to the point of pulling my hairs apart. "Ok calm down Crynn, calm down, You can do this without spells," I reassured myself albeit not being very encouraging. "Ok, now how am I supposed to get into Hogwarts," Being known publicly as the most secure place in all of Wizarding Britain, with a lot of different wards that protect the castle, housing hundreds of students, fourteen professors, more than 5 ghosts and a mischievious poltergeist isn't gonna help. "I've always wondered why the Head of The Department of Magical Law Enforcement (DMLE) can apparate himself to Hogwarts in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald when you aren't supposed to be able to apparate in the area of jurisdiction arround Hogwarts,"

I wondered quite a while before fixing an idea to myself. I obviously can't get to Hogwarts instantly as I am not a house elf and no Vanishing Cabinets at my disposal. But I do remember there being a secret passage way from Hogwarts to Honeydukes' cellar, I'm gonna use that to my advantage. Sneaking on the Hogwarts Express might not be an easy feat, but I'm sure that will go well.

"It seems that I have to make myself to the Room of Requirement." Afterall, I need a place to stay and the Forbidden Forest sounds like a horrible camping spot for anyone. "I'm going to have to run all the way from Honeydukes' cellar to the statue of the one-eyed witch," When everyone's sleeping, I would make myself to the seventh floor and enter the Room of Requirement, a room where I'll stay 'confined' for the rest of the year, the thought is 'exciting' to say the least.

"The trapdoor is likely to stay open after Harry went in, the Devil's Snare won't be a problem, the flying keys would likely be the easiest to get past," I thought knowing myself to be quite the expert lockpicker. "The giant chess piece should already be destroyed," I remarked and if it somehow repairs itself, I can just blow it up again. "The troll should be dead and Snape's defence is a problem," After thinking about it, I decided to just bring a fire extinguisher. "Voldemort shan't be a problem, I'll let him get his way with Harry and the events of Harry touching Voldemort's face will happen and once Voldemort escapes in his Wraith form, I shall get the Philosopher's stone." Ending my thinking with a laugh, I threw myself to bed not worrying as the plan is sure to work.

Or will it.
