Chapter 31: The Date
*the next day
I woke up and refreshed myself. I got down and saw Jungkook sitting in the couch and watching something in his phone.
"What are you looking in your phone?" I asked.
"yahh... you startled me." he said.
"What are you doing sitting here? Go get ready."
"Wae?"
"I told you yesterday, about unnie's bet."
"oh yeah. okie-dokie!" he said and went to his room. i sighed and went to my room and got ready.
i showered and came out. i looked through my closet. and i did find the perfect dress.
i wore a black jean, with a black turtle neck, full sleeve. a small black earring and sneackers and i was ready to go.
i went down and waited for Jungkook to come. i went to drink water and as i came back, Jungkook stood there wearing black, silk shirt and black jeans, with the shirt tucked in.
"You look really good in that." i said.
"thanks. and you're really beautiful too." he said.
"shall we go?" he asked, bowing his arm. i hugged his arm and said,
"sure." and we went.
he took the bike.
"what's wrong with the car?" i asked.
"nothing wrong." he said coolly.
"then why can't we go in that?" i just asked.
"this is a date right? why do you hesitate then? just come and sit." he said. i sat and hit his shoulder.
"this is not how you talk to your date."
he smiled and drove to the first spot.
"first, lunch." he said and drove to a restaurant.
we reached to the restaurant and we went in. we seated ourselves, and i ordered what i wanted and he did the same.
our orders came and we started eating. it was quiet. we didn't talk anything nor looked at each other.
"ok. this is getting worse." i said.
"actually yeah. i thought it'd go more better, but it turned out worse." he said.
"heres what we can do. let's just think it as an outing as friends. not as in a date."
"yeah. that sounds better." he said.
then we started talking normally. we were chatting, laughin' like hell. this made it fun.
we finished and went to the next place, the beach. it was quite fun there too. we played with the kids there and helped them make sandcastles. we bought them ice creams. for a second i thought we were parents. we had so much fun at the beach.
"i'm hungry!" i said, holding my stomach.
"let's go!" he held my hand and ran.
he stopped at a fast food shop.
"this has the best hotdogs ever!" he said.
"how do you know?" i asked.
"i've heard." he said and got two.
we ate messily, and laughed at each other. we finished and walked along the beach side for a while.
"it doesn't feel like a date, to be honest. it feels more like a get to know each other thing." i said.
"yeah. it's fun spending time with you."
"you too."
we moved onto the next place, an arcade. there were a tons of games.
we started with the car race.
"ready to fight!" i said and started the game.
we both were in the same speed, but i over took him and WON!
"woohoo!!" i shouted.
"one more." he said. i nodded and we started another game.
this time he won.
"YES!!" he said. i thought of a place at the arcade.
"come with me." i said and pulled him with me.
"where?" he asked.
"you'll see." i said and we reached to the place soon.
"the music station." i said.
"come in." i said and puled him.
there were two headphone sets. i handed him one and put on one.
i played "perfect" by Ed Sheeran. it was one of my favourite songs.
i hummed to the tune. it was so relaxing and calming. i closed my eyes and fekt the music.

third person POV
while y/n was enjoying the music, Jungkook couldn't stop seeing her. he was so focused into looking at her enjoy the music. and he enjoyed the music. the song finished soon and Jungkook played a song.
'you look perfect, not only today, but everyday and everytime. you are just the perfect girl i've ever seen. i really dont know where this is going though.' he thoight to himself.
he played "Nothing like us" by Justin Beiber.
They both actually liked the same songs.
he started singing.
"there's nothing like us. there's nothing like you and me. together through the storm."
While Jungkook was singing, y/n admired him.
'how can someone be so perfect in everything? there's really nothing like us. we are way different from others. i don't know whether to say it as friendship or something more than that.' y/n thought to herself.
they spent some time listening to music and it was already 7 at night.
" what shall we do now?" he asked
"i know a place." y/n said and they walked to the place.
they reached the school campus and y/n looked at jungkook.
"here? wae?" he asked.
"just come with me." she said and they went in.
she took him to the music room. the entire campus was qquiet as there was no one at this time but people had access to come in and go to use either the library or the music room for practise.
but luckily, no one was there tonight. it was 8, by all the walking and entering the campus.
they finally got into the music room and they both sat by the piano.
y/n rubbed her palms and started playing the piano. she played one of her favourites, which yoongi used to play for her.
"butterfly, like a butterfly,
machi butterfly, bu butterfly, cheoreom.
butterfly, like a butterfly,
machi butterfly, bu butterfly, cheoreom." she sang while playing.
while jungkook was admiring her beauty and how pretty she was. he couldn't take his eyes off her. he was so focused into looking at her.
she finished playing and looked at jungkook.
"what?" she asked.
she was a bit shocked to see him staring at her. she turned and drank water but was hiding her shyness.
"y/n." he called her.
she turned and they looked at each other. their eyes never leaving each other. jungkook put his hand on hers and slowly moved forward. he moved more closer and closer.
both their hearts beating fast. jungkook was a bit nervous that what if she didn't have feelings for him and y/n was nervous that what if he didn't have feelings for her too.
