Chapter 11: Chapter 11: Meeting.

After finishing his daily jogging, Morgan successfully returned home with the groceries in hand.
"Good job sweety, so how was it out there?"
"It was good, I went to a beach where I saw two funny guys cleaning the beach…"
"Oh, and…?"
"And, then I went to the grocery, and bumped into two girls…" Morgan laughed and said awkwardly.
"Heh~... Girls you say, did you befriend them?" Kanade asked with an interested expression full of hope for her older boy to make friends and maybe a girlfriend.
"Of course not… I don't even know them…" Morgan shrugged his shoulders and went up the stairs.
"Sigh… oh and remember, we're going to meet your grandfather later, okay…?"
"Yeah, alright then…" He went up and started to put his stuff in order.
Adam went to get his hero's papers in order since he was going to be a hero again.

And so, later that day, like promised, the little family went to the huge Yaoyorozu's residence to meet with Kaede's father and Morgan and Negi's grandfather.
They were supposed to take a taxi, but Yuzuri instead called a driver who quickly arrived and took them in.
Half an hour later, they arrived in front of a huge mansion.
Morgan being ignorant about a lot of things, his parents told him a thing or two about this grandfather during the small trip.
First of all, the old man's name is Gonzaemon Yaoyorozu, and is the younger brother of the current patriarch of the Yaoyorozu, Senzaemon Yaoyorozu. Despite being only the younger brother, his influence is not any less than his brother.
The Yaoyorozu being a very famous and extremely strict hero family, Gonzaemon's temperament grew up to be pretty rigid, especially after his wife that is to say Kaede's mom left to go somewhere.
And when Kaede fell in love with Adam, Gonzaemon for a reason or another just couldn't accept it, and even chased them away.
But whatever…
They all stood in front of the immense mansion like four lost puppies.
"Uh, well… the grandfather is pretty rich huh…" Morgan couldn't help but utter.
"Well, yes…" Kaede rolled her eyes.
"Please, follow me…" Yuzuri then led them throughout the huge house.
Morgan was quietly observing the decors of the mansion made out of gold and other expansive stuff wondering how much it was worth, while Negi was running around excitedly with no fear to break something.
Overall, the mansion was goddamn huge and beautiful, with a lot of servants everywhere greeting them with a smile.
They finally arrived in a hall or something like that.
There, three old persons could be seen standing and seemingly waiting for them. An old man dressed like a mafia boss, an old servant or so, and an old woman elegantly dressed.
At the sight of these people, Yuzuri's respectful attitude turned even more respectful while Kaede had a shocked expression as she exclaimed.
"M- Mom?!"
"...?!" Adam and Morgan both had stunned expressions on their faces. It was the first time Adam saw his mother in law, no need to mention Morgan.
This old woman's name was Kaori Yaoyorozu.
As for Negi, he couldn't care less about what was going on.
"Hello, Kaede…" The old woman smiled gently and then looked at Adam & co. "Hello Adam, children, welcome home…"
"So you were back?" Kaede ran to her mom's side and took her hands.
"Yes, sweety…" The old woman smiled and then looked at Morgan and Negi.
"So, these are my grandsons…?"
"Yes, here, the older one is Morgan, and the younger is Negi…" Kaede then grabbed Negi and said.
'Hey, you two, this is your grandmother and your grandfather…"
"Hello…" Morgan greet simply and nodded.
"Hello, grandpa, grandma…!" Negi greets with a lot of energy.
Although the greeting wasn't so special, it brought a huge smile to the grandma's face.
"Good, good, ah, I'm so happy to finally see you two…" Kaori nearly had tears coming out as she touched their cheeks. "Haha, my two grandsons are indeed beautiful and healthy..."
"...wait a minute, I see... that's why you're finally willing to see us is it?" Kaede then glared at the old man dressed as a mafia boss.
"This thing about you dying was just a lie right?"
"Cough- cough!" The old man coughed a few times in embarrassment before speaking.
"Ahem, welcome back, girl…"
"..." The hall was silent for a moment except for Negi.
"Is that truly how you greet your daughter that you chased away?" The old woman looked at the old man with contempt on her face.
"Uh… let's go eat a little something shall we?" The old man dodged the question and led everyone to a table.
At the said table, a vast amount of food was served, with every dish looking exquisite.
"Everyone, please dig in…" The old woman said with a smile.
Even though the atmosphere was at first awkward, it was quickly softened by Negi's innocent and honest questions.
"Big brother, what is that?"
"Those are Tempura, try it with the rice, it's delicious…" Morgan who was sitting just by his side replied with a smile.
Negi tried and exclaimed. "Whoa, it's so good…"
"And what is this?"
"Those are Gyoza…"
"And this?"
"It should be the Okonomiyaki I believe…"
"And this?" Negi pointed something else.
"Uh…" However, Morgan didn't have answers to everything and was at a loss as he looks curiously toward his mom and dad seeking some answers too.
But to his surprise, it was the old man who replied. "This is a Donburi, boy…" He said to Negi.
"Your little brother is filled with energy, that's good!" And then looked at Morgan.
"Yes, Negi has always been like that and I too didn't know that it was a Donburi, thank you, grandfather…" Morgan thank Gonzaemon honestly.
"Uh...You're welcome, boy…" Gonzaemon looked a bit perturbed as he nodded before eating again.
Meanwhile, the others were quietly watching the interactions between them. Adam and Kaede both looked at each other with a knowing gaze and then smiled faintly.

The rest of the diner went well, as they slowly started to speak with each other, even Gonzaemon began to speak.
"So, and you my boy, what do you plan to do? Which high school are you gonna go to?" Gonzaemon asked a question Morgan.
"...? Oh, umm, I decided with mom and dad that I would go to U.A high school to learn about the job of heroes…"
"Oh, so you want to become a hero?" Gonzaemon asked seemingly interested in his response.
Morgan thought about it for a moment before speaking honestly. "Well, I would like to first understand what is truly a hero before, that's why I want to go to this school…"
"Umm, that's a good thing boy, depending on where you stand, your vision of evil and good can eventually change…" Gonzaemon nodded and then looked at Kaede.
"So, you have already enrolled him in U.A?"
"Eh? Uh, I was planning to do the enrollment tomorrow since the examination in nine months right…?" Kaede said with a sweat.
"What?" Gonzaemon exclaimed softly and looked at her strangely while Kaori replied.
"...dear, U.A isn't your typical high school, you have to do the papers even before the examination is announced, U.A is especially strict with this…" Kaori said with a wry smile.
"What? But I didn't know…" Kaede said with a panicked expression.
"Sigh, you are still so careless, Kaede…" Kaori said with a laugh.
"It's fine…" Gonzaemon suddenly said drawing the attention.
"...?" Both Adam and Kaede looked curiously at Gonzaemon.
"I will get him a recommendation…"
"A recommendation…?"
"Yes, being a major sponsor of U.A, I can get him a recommendation, he will still have to go through some tests but there will be no need to worry about enrollment…"
"Hmm, but this looks like he's cheating…" Adam said, the idea that his son was given some better treatment than other participants tasted really bad for him.
"Hnn, there's no need to worry, I won't give this recommendation just like that, of course. I want to see what the boy is worth and if he's worth the effort…" Gonzaemon spoke completely dead set before he asks Morgan.
"Boy, what is your Quirk-type? Is it made for battle?"
Morgan first looks at his parents as they nodded at him.
"Well, it's a bit complicated, but it should be closer to an Emitter type…"
"What do you mean…?"
"In short, I can summon things… like…" Morgan said as he brought his hand out and…

A beautiful but ghastly dagger came out of nowhere into his hand.

"Each weapon has a different level of power and effect and can vary from paralysis, freezing, bleeding, etc…"
"It very much looks like your father Quirk…" Gonzaemon took a look and had a little disappointed expression.
Kaede had inherited his Quirk, called Life Breath, and seeing that his older grandson didn't inherit his Quirk kinda disappointed him.
"Father, Morgan has another ability, his Quirk seemed to have evolved taking both Adam and my Quirk into it," Kaede said and simply lied.
"...? What do you mean?" Gonzaemon was quickly intrigued by this.
Morgan being quick-witted didn't need to be told as he acted immediately.
"Arise…"
With but a word from him, his shadow began to move around as slowly but surely, one, two, and then three normal shadow soldiers arise from his shadow.
"...!?" Gonzaemon's expression completely changed.
"I can also summon some shadow soldiers from my shadow…" Morgan told as he looked at his soldiers with a faint smile.
