Chapter 8: What the hell are you?
Aalayah's POV
"We have to walk 1 or 2 miles to reach the woods so we can shift, anyone want different clothes?" They all looked at me as if I had four heads. I shrugged "I was kidding." I started walking then stopped and turned to Greyson and put my hand on my hip. He tilted his head in confusion, then walked behind my car and started to shift. Once he finished he tried to walk out but I instantly stopped him. "hell no, put clothes on!" I said pointing a finger at him, He smirked "don't want other girls seeing me eh?" He joked, I smirked. "fine be like that." He wanted to play? I can play, with one swift motion Greyson was wearing a pink shirt and purple pants.
I started laughing and so did everyone else. He shrugged. "I think I look good in pink, thanks love" he winked and started walking off. I jogged to catch up to him. "hey!" He looked at me confused. I grabbed his hand and started walking beside him. I looked behind me to make sure they were following me. I can smell them but you can never be to sure. Greyson was about to say something but I cut him off "shut up." I said embarrassed. He chuckled. About ten minutes later we reached the woods.
I turned to talk to them "don't talk. Don't look at anything but me got it?" Tyler looked at me confused along with everyone else "why?" I sighed "this is one of the enchanted forests, their are creatures that will put you in a trance to make you stay." Greyson squeezed my hand "why don't we just take a different way?" I looked at him "believe me I wish we could. Do you know how annoying they get?" They chuckled "alright time to shift. Lilac I want you to shift into a wolf too. Holden is running. Meredith you can ride on Tyler" I said with a wink Meredith instantly heated up she started to say something but I shifted so she stopped talking.
It was normal for people to be distracted by my forms, it's very rare to see me in any of my forms so people like to take it in it's like a blessing. My bones began to crack and fur irrupted all over my body, I was on all four legs and now I'm my wolf form. I shook myself and turned to look at everyone and sat down. They all looked at me with wide eyes except for Lilac and Holden. They've both seen me shift before, actually I was in that form for years I'm pretty sure it's drilled into their brain. Tyler looked at Lilac and at Holden "s-she's white. Her wolf I-is white. A-and her eyes, purple? how?" Lilac looked at him and laughed she looked at me and I nodded telling her it was okay she looked back at him "her real hair color IS white she dyed it blonde to hide from someone" she shrugged and then started to shift. She started to scream in pain as her bones started to crack.
I recited some words in my head to help her with the pain I knew it was my fault. She hadn't shifted in a while so the pain was worse. I felt Greysons eyes on me still so I looked at him. He stared at me in my eyes and I tilted my head. He took of his shirt and started to shift along with Tyler. Now we were all in our wolf forms I looked at Tyler 'Meredith' he nodded his head and walked over to Meredith and bent his head down and his body so she could get on. I turned around and started running off Greysons Wolf caught up with me and I nudged him in his side playfully. He nipped me on my ear then licked it getting him back I slowed down so I could nip his tail he whimpered but I knew I didn't hurt him.
Looking back I saw Lilac, Holden and Tyler behind me. satisfied with what I saw I sped up. We were running for about six hours before we started to see abandoned cabins I slowed down knowing they probably need to rest. I recited a spell to keep the enchanted animals from entering our perimeter. I stopped because I heard scratching coming from my right my ears shot up and Greyson nudged me as if telling me to stay. I shifted to human form and heard Greyson growl I ignored it and started to walk to where I heard the scratching I was standing in front of the cabin and smelt bear blood. I winced I walked into the cabin and heard more scratching I looked around and saw blood everywhere along with a small whole and decided to pull the wood up.
When I did I saw a baby cub trying to make its way out. "Aw you poor thing. How long have you been trapped down there?" It made a sad noise and I jumped down there as soon as I did the cub ran up to me and hugged my leg I picked it up and said "alright, hold on." I extended my wings and flew out breaking more wood I landed and put my wings down, and started heading back. When I arrived they had made a fire everyone looked happy but Greyson he was pouting I chuckled 'how cute'. I walked up to them with my wings dragging behind me "look what I found" I said looking at the cub. "What the..." Tyler said "what the fuck are you?" I looked at him confused. I shrugged "many things."
Greyson looked at me and his eyes widened "put some fucking clothes on" he demanded. I scoffed "or what?" I challenged he was next to me within seconds and he whispered in my ear "or I'll punish you" he said licking his lips. I smirked and whispered back nearly touching his ear "what if I want to be punished?" He was about to say something before I cut him off I looked at everyone "everyone pick a cabin. Tyler, Meredith your sharing Lilac, Holden your both sharing, me and Greyson will share too I guess" Tyler looked at me confused "have you not seen these cabins their like half my room" I rolled my eyes "duh, that's why there's a thing called magic." I said. Then I recited my spell "Лазпов лвдабмжп ъъао" and now Greyson was the one confused "they look the same" I smiled "that's right. They LOOK the same doesn't mean that they are" I said with a wink
"ours is this way. We have a hot spring near it" he quickly followed behind me looking around as if looking for a threat "don't worry I put a spell around us earlier. There won't be anything or anyone in this place but us" we made it to the porch step and I put the cub down to open the door I stepped inside and the cub and Greyson followed behind. When he stepped in his eyes widened "what the hell? This place is huge!" I smirked "I know right? If your hungry theirs a kitchen to your right I'll be upstairs putting this little guy in his room" I picked up the cub and started to make my way upstairs "shouldn't you let him find his mom?" He said unsure I smiled sadly "his moms dead."
I walked upstairs and put the cub in his room I fed him with a bottle before I closed the door and walked downstairs Greyson was sitting by the fire place I made my way next to him and sat down. "So how about that reward?" He said with a devilish smirk. I chuckled "how about you eat first you haven't had lunch. At least eat dinner. Anything specific you want me to cook?" He looked at me and smiled. "Anything would be great" I smiled and got up "alright I'll call you in the kitchen when I'm done" I walked into the kitchen and started to make steak and some spinach I added some seasoning and put it on a plate. I grabbed a fork and knife and set it on the table
"come eat!" I heard some shuffling and he made his way in the kitchen "damn, it smells good." He looked at the table and then at me "your not gonna eat with me?" I giggled "I don't really eat human food. Don't get me wrong I like the taste and I like to make it but I just don't eat it. I'll be in the springs if you need me" I walked out the back door and decided I should probably fly around to see how much longer we'll be running tomorrow. I ran and jumped to get a quicker start I jolted up and spun with my wings covering me I spread them and started to soar for a bit with my eyes closed I opened them and saw that we had about nine more hours ahead of us. I decided to fly for a little bit longer then flew back and made my way down to the ground next to the hot spring. I put my wings away and slowly got in the water it was up to my ankles when I heard the water move a bit. Someone was in here.
