Chapter 1: A New Beggining
"Bzzt... bzzt..bzzt."
The sound of my alarm clock fills my room. Slowly coming to my senses I look at the time
"Seven already, damn gotta go to work."
I get out of bed and quickly take a shower and get dressed for the day. My job is nothing fancy just a fast food restaurant called 1& Done Fast Food and luckily it's close to where I live, so I can just walk to the place. Once I got everything I needed I headed out. The sun was shining bright and the sound of cars was prominent a normal day for a city. Walking down the sidewalk I see people busily going to and fro. Suddenly I hear people screaming as if they were yelling for their life. I turn around and to my horror I see a drunk man lashing out at random swinging his knife at anyone who gets close to him.
"Wha-!" Is all I manage to get out before I trip over a crack in the sidewalk and crumble to the ground. The drunk mans eyes lock onto me and lunges at me knife in hand. I try desperately to move out of the way, but to no avail. Instinctively I raise my arm up to protect myself and the blade easily goes through my hand, blood covering my face. Screaming from the pain I desperately crawl away from the man only to feel the cold blade sink into my back again and again. My vision quickly fades and all I can do is listen to the sound of someone being knocked to the ground and someone screaming my name.
"Alex! Please don't die, you can't die! I don't want to be alone please stay with me!"
The voice is to faint but I can tell who it's my older sister said she was going to stop by where I worked today. She just came back from overseas and was going to crash at my place for a bit and catch up "Damn is this really how I Die?" It had been years since my sister left and now when she is finally back I won't even get to see her. Listening to my sisters pleads for me I drift off into the calling darkness.
"Sally it's a girl!"
A man in his twenties with ocean blue eyes matched with his dark blue hair said happily to his wife.
"Oh! Let me see my little girl Azure!"
Azure finished cleaning off the baby and handed her over to Sally.
"What do you think we should call her?" Sally asked while holding the crying baby.
"How about token?" Azure answered confidently. "What? No! I want her name to be as cute as she is!" Sally puffed out her checks displeased with the answer her husband gave her. "Wha- hey! I thought it was a good name!" Azure answered jokingly
"Hmmm what about Miya?" Sally said seemingly pleased with with the name she just thought of. "Miya would be a perfect name for our little girl." Azure said softly to his wife.
