Chapter 4: Chapter 3
While walking though the corridor with Rias in hand. "Rias you don't have to worry about anything, I'll never let you marry someone you don't love. Plus I doubt Lord Phoenix would mind if you ditched his son anyway." I said brimming with confidence. Rias just looked at me stunned and said "What about dad, won't he get angry with you?" I start laughing.
"Dad is too soft to stay mad at his children and you need to focus on your peerage and finding someone you love." I said, thinking that I need to do the same. But I don't think I'll find anyone in this world. ("Oh Sera can I use my evil pieces in other worlds if I modify them?") Because if I can, I know the first four members of my peerage.
(*If you manage to learn how they work, I don't see why not.*) Sera said with certainty. ("Oh and can I see my status, like in games?") I ask, hoping that I can. (*You have to unlock that feature, but it will be available before you leave this world.*) Sera said. ("So I have to finish my tasks before I unlock it, not as OP as I was hoping for.") (*That was how your mother wanted it, if you had all your abilities from the start, it would have bored you.*) Sera said matter of factly.
Sera is right it would have been very boring. "Scarlet, underworld to Scarlet are you there?" Rias said while waving a hand in front of my face. "Sorry Rias I was lost in thought, have you started to learn strategies yet?" I ask hoping we can spend some time together. "Not yet, why?" Rias said. "Then why don't we go to the library and study them together?" I ask. "Sure sounds like fun."
3 Days later*
"Scarlet, Sirzechs and Lord Beelzebub are here to see you, they are in the study." Called one of the butlers. "Ok I'm coming." I shout back, as I make my way to the study, thinking about how I'm going to convince Ajuka to teach me how to make evil pieces.
Standing outside the door to the study I knock three times and wait. "Scarlet why are you knocking, just come in." I heard Sirzechs say. As I open the the I say. "Well I don't want to seem rude, especially since we have a guest, big brother." "Ajuka is like family so it's fine, isn't that right Ajuka." Sirzeches said looking at Ajuka. "I don't mind, but the reason why I'm here today is about your evil pieces." Ajuka said with a bit of excitement.
"Sure I wanted to talk to you as well. I was hoping you could teach me all about the evil pieces and I might be able to help you understand your system better." I say hoping I'm not pushing it to far. Ajuka starts laughing and looks at Sirzechs. "Are you sure you can handle my teaching methods." Ajuka said while still laughing. "Of course, could someone with fifteen mutation pieces be weak?" I say full of confidence. "She is a lot like you Sirzechs, did you teach her anything?" Ajuka said.
"I think she just picked it." Sirzechs said looking at me with a smile. "Ok then I'll take you on as an apprentice but you'll have to come with me for a few years. Is that Ok?" Ajuka said looking at me to see my reaction. "Yes that's fine, let me go talk to mum and dad. I'm sure they won't mind." I say as I start running out the room. Mum and dad should be in the common room, so I make a bee line there.
When I arrive no one was there I ask a passing maid. "Do you know where mum and dad are?" "The Lord and Lady are in the Dinning hall." The maid said. "Thank you" I said as I started to run towards the Dinning hall. Bursting though the door panting. "What's the matter Scarlet?" Mum asked with a worried expression "I *huff* want to *huff* be an apprentice *huff* to Ajuka." I said trying to catch my breath.
"Ajuka wants to take you as an apprentice, what does that entail?" Dad asks while waiting for me to catch my breath. A few minutes later. "I'll have to go with him for a few year." I said finally. Mum and dad just looked at each other and mum said. "Ok but you have to stay in contact with us and call us everyday." I start jumping for joy. "Of course I call everyday. I'll go tell Ajuka then pack." I said running out the room.
