"Tell me how to save her, Abbadon, and I will spare you," I say while prowling around him. He scoffs, pulling his ax from the ground and twirling it in his hands once before righting his stance. 

  "Marjstor says we cannot harm you," he says, and the sound grates on my senses. It has too many voices all at once. "But he said this one will die today." He points at Morwenna.

"Then I'm afraid you'll be disappointing your precious Marjstor today." I strike, needing to use force to get the demon to submit. I have faith that Briar can save Morwenna, but if there is a chance that I am wrong, I still need this demon to tell me how to do it. If Fenrys was the one who ordered her death, then I know I won't get any help from him. 

Besides, for him to help I would need to let him out of his trap and I can not afford that risk unless it is the last resort. Our last chance.
