Chapter 3: Magic Captains
4 Years Later
Hikaru POV
4 years have already passed and now my two childhood friends are getting promoted to Magic Captains. Not only that but I have also gotten a lot stronger and grew closer to all the members of Grey deer.
I'm now getting ready for today to congratulate the two. I haven't seen them to much since we are all busy doing missions. There will be a party to congratulate the two captains later on tonight, but I want to but something for the two of them.
I head out and leave HQ to go to the Royal Capital where all the shops are. As I was walking, I thought 'What would they like? They are already really rich and can buy anything they want? So what should I give them?' An idea popped up. "I know what to buy now" I said out loud with a smile on my face. I found the store that had something that I wanted to buy and bought my gifts.
The party starts at 8 but now its only 5. I have some time to kill. I decided to go back to HQ and train in the mean time. Once I got back to HQ I went to my room and put down the gifts I bought and changed into my training gear.
I was know at the training grounds and saw Yami. I walked up to him and was now standing behind him. I was about to touch his shoulder but he suddenly grabbed my hand and yanked me in front of him. 'Ouch, man does he have strength' I thought.
He looked at me "What are you doing here and why were you behind me?" Yami questioned. "I was trying to kill time and decided to train. I saw you out here when I arrived and was going to ask if you wanted to fight with me." I answered his question. He looked at me and raised his brow.
"I thought you would be up in your room, dolling yourself up for the party tonight. Are you not gonna do that?" he questioned. I looked at him and tilted my head and now I laughed at his statement. "Your too funny Yami! Its only 5 and the party doesn't start till 8. I was gonna train for an hour or two. I'm not gonna start dolling myself up this early. Why do you think all royal and noble families spend the whole day dolling up the ladies." I laugh again. "But your not wrong, some families do that. But I rather not spend the whole day doing that, its a waste of time." I smiled at him. He looked at me and laughed as well.
"Well then, what are we waiting for?" he pointed his sword at me. "Then lets begin"
Moments later~ (2 hours later)
"Thanks Yami for training with me! I gotta start getting ready then." I waved at Yami and started making my way to my room. Once I was at my room, I prepared the bath, to clean myself up.
I was now almost ready, I just had to put the finishing touches, I had to put my earrings that Leon gave me for my birthday one year and my necklace that Nozel has also gifted me. They both complemented my eyes and dress. My dress which was a white and purple. The patterns were purple and the rest was a white flowing dress. I then put on a bracelet which I just bought.
After getting ready I headed down to meet my brother and the squad. Before heading down the stairs I was stopped by William. I looked at him, he was dressed in a black suit with a blue tie, which complemented the blue from the mask. He then held out his hand "You look wonderful and beautiful tonight Hikaru. Later in the night, would you give me an honor to a dance." he asked while smiling at me.
I smiled back as a small dust of pink spread on my face. I took his hand and started down the stairs with William at my right.
"Thank you William, I would love to have a dance. You look look handsome as well." I smiled at him.
Grey Deers POV (Except Yami and julius)
'She's so pretty~~ Will is so lucky right now!! She was always pretty but now she looks like a goddess'
Julius POV
'My My. What do we have here. Hikaru is quite the looker tonight and it seems Will has made the first move.' I smirk seeing the events that are going to play tonight.
Yami POV
'Dang would you look at that. She's getting all the attention and everybody's ogling at her.'
Hikaru POV
We finally arrived at the bottom of the stairs and I see all eyes are on us. I thank William again and head over to my brother.
"Julius where is the party being held at?" I ask. "They finally decided and it will be held at the Royal Palace" Julius responds.
Time Skip~ (A/N- Hey guys sorry this isn't the exact story line and seems a bit off, since its a dance but I really wanted to include a special congrats for the captains. Plus it's a precious memory for Hikaru) (If you are wondering how they got their since they are at HQ, lets just say they had a member teleport them)
I looked around the room (Ball room) and saw Leon and Nozel wearing formal clothes which complimented their looks.
As I was walking closer to them, I realized that they grew so much taller and...manlier....and handsome.. 'Wait stop what was I thinking!!! They are your childhood friends! Don't be weird.'
"Hey Leon! Nozel! Congratulations on becoming a Captain!" I say once I reached them.
"Thank you Hikaru" they both say. They both look at me and smile. 'Wow I missed them so much! They grew and turned out to be such handsome men. Plus those smiles are worth a million dollars!'
"How have you guys been" I ask. "It's been busy. Sorting out the members and finishing missions." Nozel responds in a straightforward way. He's always been kind of blunt but he was so much so much cuter when he was young.
"Same here" Leon responds after Nozel. I look at them and smile my brightest smile. "Man, I really missed you guys and you guys grew so much! You got taller , handsome, stronger." I laughed at what I said. "You guys turned out to be quite the idealistic man and captains". Their eyes widened a bit and a tint of red grew across their faces.
"Ahem. Thank you for the compliment Hikaru" Nozel said, trying to keep his composer.
"Yes, thank you. I missed you a lot as well and it seems you turned out to be a very beautiful lady." Leon compliments me back and now it was my turn to blush. Nozel shot daggers at Leon right after that. "Aww thanks Leon! Oh by the way there's something I wanted to gi-" I was stopped. Other magic knights came to congratulate the two. 'It's not just me here' I thought.
While the others crowded around my two childhood friends I stepped away and waled towards the beverages. As I was about to reach for a glass of wine, someone stopped me and handed me one. I looked up and saw Yami. I grabbed the drink and started conversing with him.
"Thanks, so far how do you like the party" I ask. He now looks at me while drinking and puts down the cup. "It's boring and is filled with all the snobby nobles with their heads up their asses" he replys. I giggle at his comment. "Well I suppose so. Thats just how most are I guess." I sigh and drink. He eyes me while grabbing another cup.
"The other good thing here, is a couple of not so stuck up nobles and the food and alcohol." Yami says. I look back at him and giggle once again. "It's not so bad right?" I smile at him. Then the music started playing and William walks up to me. "Will you let me have this first dance" he asks. I smile at him and put my hand out, which he grabs and leads me out to the dance floor. I wave at Yami and smile.
The introduction finishes and now the beginning of the first song starts. I grab onto Willam's shoulder and holds my waist. We dance in the center and I feel eyes staring at us while we dance. But I brush it off trying to enjoy the moment. "Your quite a talented dancer Will" I say while dancing. "Thank you my lady, I do have to say that your beauty shines in this room and outshines the main people which this party was meant for." I laugh at his statement. "Why thank you Will, though it's just not me that they are looking at. It's you as well."
Soon the dance ended and I excused myself. I soon walked towards the balcony to get some fresh air. I lean my elbows against the railing and sigh.
"What are you doing out here?" I hear two soothing and familiar voices. "You should go inside soon." I turn around and see Leon and Nozel. I give them a warm smile "I was just getting some fresh air since it was getting a little stuffy. What about you?" I ask.
"I came out here because I saw you head out here. I thought something was wrong." Leon answered. "Oh my your just as sweet and caring as ever" I reply. He steps closer to me and grabs my hand bringing it closer to his face. Finally kissing it. My face brightens with a red tinge at this action. "We are finally one step closer to my dream/goal." Leon and Nozel says to me. Nozel now takes my other hand and kisses it. My eyes widen and giggle. "Leon, Nozel do you guys remember when you brought me to that garden and vowed that you guys would be Wizard King?" I ask.
Their eyes sparkle and give me a warm smile "I see you still remember, then do you remember the part where you said that you will stand by my side when I became wizard king?". Nozel says and wraps his arm around my waist and the music can be heard. "Yes I remember that too Nozel." I grab Nozel and Leons hand and pull out a braclet that looks like mine but is red and sliver. I put the bracelet on their wrist.
"This is for you Leon and Nozel, I got this to signify that we are one step closer to our dreams and promises." I say while showing my bracelet. Leon looks at the bracelet and his fingers go across it, smiling at it. Nozel puts his hand over the bracelet and smiles at me.
I now bend down on one knee, surprising them by this action. I grab their hands with the bracelet, and bring it closer to my face and kiss it. Much like he and Nozel did on that day. "Will you stand by my side, my future Magic Kings?" I ask. They bend down and plant a kiss on my cheek. "If you will allow us to." they say and smile at me. I stand back up and give them my biggest, warmest smile ever. "Congratulations guys!" with a tear running down my face.
I go up on my toes and reach out to them and bring them into an embrace. I whisper into their ears "I am very proud of you two. I love you guys so much!" They slightly put their arms around me and soon the party ends.
