On the other side of the Mississippi River, lived the real star of this novel. With long legs, short torso, clear glasses, and rippling biceps, you could argue that Madisyn was the most beautiful girl in the county. You could argue this. You could. Would you? Maybe. You, of course could do that. But... would you tho?
Madisyn was busy doing push ups with one arm and swiping boys on dating apps with the other.
"Oh dear me", said Madisyn. There were so many boys on these dating apps. So many serious faces, Jims looking for their Pams, and fish holders. It was absolutely too hard to find a husband this way.
"Maybe I'll just die alone, watching k dramas and reading garbage," she sighed, switching arms after rep number 200.
Suddenly, a ding of an oven timer distracted her from her single woes. The cookies were done! Cookies would never hurt me, she thought as she went to the kitchen.
Cookies wouldnt heal her either, because a strange man was standing in her kitchen, eating the cookies she had worked so hard to take out of the cookie dough bucket and put onto the cookie sheet.
Madisyn raised her incredibly strong and tan arms up to defend herself from this strange intruder. He tried to say something through his mouthful of chocolate chip cookies, but Madisyn couldn't make it out.
"What?" She said, handing him a glass of milk that she had this whole time.
After the stranger chugged the whole thing, he smashed the glass on the ground and turned back to Madisyn with a dimpled grin.
"What's poppin'?"
