Chapter 1: Prologue: So What? (Not Optional)
Currently, Mei Bai only had one thing to say about her situation. She was really too pitiful.
I mean look at her. Walking on the sidewalk with bare feet, ruined mascara, smudged makeup, and matted hair. Oh not even mentioning she had nothing except the clothes on her back.
If only she noticed the signs of him cheating sooner, then she would not have been so heartbroken and shocked to run outside without any of her stuff.
She couldn't even go back because then she would lose face. She ran out there yelling promises that everything between them was over and she never wanted to see him again. That wasn't going to change.
Of course, Mei Bai had come up with a plan while slowly walking. She decided she would walk to her old apartment which fortunately she hadn't canceled the lease too. All she needed to do was get the key from under the doormat and find someone to move out all her belongings from that scumbag's place.
She stopped at the corner of the sidewalk and waited till it said she could walk. She aimlessly crossed the street, deep in her thoughts of revenge. Hmm... I've heard that slitting tires might work... Oh! I have the perfect idea. It's only slightly illegal I ca-- suddenly a car came out of nowhere and hit the poor girl.
She heard screams and only saw red. Someone shaking her, telling her to not close her eyes. Ah... I feel my heart tightening. Well guess I'm dying today. It was a good life. Oh shoot. I haven't executed my revenge.
"Is this the police? A homeless woman just got hit by a car! Send an ambulance quickly," she heard a panicked passerby say. If she already wasn't in such a bad state already she would have gotten internal injury and keeled over right then.. Hey sis! I know I'm in this state but that doesn't give you the right to say I'm homeless. Piss off and just say a woman got hit by a car! No need for unnecessary adjectives!
If Mei Bai were to reflect on her first life's last thoughts right, she would really think she was shameless. A person was trying to help her. Then again she was a shameless person in general.
Her only regret in that life was not smashing that bastard's car with a metal bat. She already knew what background music to play so she could act like she was in a music video. That one song by Pink was pretty good.
So I'm dying. So what?! I'm still a Rockstar I got my... Her singing drifted off as her heart stopped and she took her final breath in her first life and was about the wake up to another one.

NewDaoist I'm a person who's gotten a burst of inspiration during quarantine and with all the craziness going on in the world I decided I want to make something fun.
I'm attempting mixing humor and seriousness, heavy on the humor.. Might not be everyone's cup of tea but it's supposed to be something fun for me to write that I want to get opinions on.
I'll take any constructive criticism! Although I'm pretty much making up the story as I go although I do know what I want the outcome to be, I want to first build up the story.
