Chapter 232: When is this VACATION going to end?
Getting inside the car, Sabastian inquired Erisviel over the phone.
"Eris, what did you find out?"
"I've found out where Aleksei is being held! We have to hurry, they are planning to move him out of the city. I'm on my way there with Ana, Daniella and Zulk. I'm sending you the address, Basti. Meet you there!"
After informing Sabastian about what she found out, Erisviel hung up the call.
A few moments later, Sabastian received the address from Erisviel.
Turning to Ian, Sabastian gave a nod to him before saying. "Let's hurry there then!"
Ian nodded.
Starting the car, Sabastian stepped on the gas.

It was midnight.
There was not much traffic at night compared to the day.
On route, Sabastian met up with Erisviel.
It didn't take long for them to arrive at their destination.
Sabastian's car came to a stop.
Erisviel who was following behind Sabastian also stopped her car beside his.
Sabastian and Ian stepped out of their car first.
After them, Erisviel and the others followed suit.
The headlights of both vehicles were off.
Their faces cannot be seen in the dark.
Together they walked like shadows moving in the dark.
After walking some distance, they turned west before moving north.
Walking a bit further as they were about to turn around, two cars passed by them.
Sabastian was able to take notice of the number plate of one of the cars.
"Fu*k!! " he cursed aloud turning back.
It was the car that they were following earlier today.
"Vhat 'appened, Basti?" Ana said after hearing Sabastian cursing.
"It's them! They're leaving. Quick, run!" Sabastian shouted as he started running towards his car.
The others ran after him from behind.
The misfit group quickly gave chase to catch up with the kidnappers after getting on their cars.
Zulkernyn was following Sabastian who was leading him ahead.
Soon they caught up with the kidnappers and followed them from a certain distance.
The misfits were driving safely and stealthily with their car lights off, not to arouse any suspicions from the kidnappers.
"They are going towards the Moskva River." Ian who was sitting beside Sabastian on the passenger seat spoke up.
Sabastian nodded.
At that time, Ian's phone rang.
Seeing the caller ID, Ian picked up the call and put the call on speaker for him and Sabastian.
"What do we have to do?" Erisviel asked from the other side of the phone.
"We are going to engage in combat. Can you fight, Zulk?" Sabastian replied to Erisviel and asked Zulkernyn while keeping his eyes on the kidnappers.
"I don't think I'll be able to do much, but I can support you guys at least." Zulkernyn replied to Sabastian honestly.
His injuries haven't healed yet.
(A/E: One should not believe Zulkernyn when he says 'I don't think I can or I'll be able to'. Lol)
"What do you have in mind?" Erisviel inquired to learn what kind of crazy plan Sabastian has cooked up now.
"Erisviel have you informed the minister?" Ian asked.
"Hmm, I did. They are on route."
Ian and Sabastian nodded at the same time.
"Did you guys brought the weapons I gave you for safety earlier today?" Sabastian asked the others.
Aside from Zulkernyn, the rest of them replied 'yes' to his question.
"Zulk?"
"I'm always armed..."Zulkernyn replied in a whispering tone.
(A/E: And he's supposed to recuperate from his injuries... Lol)
The others lightly laughed hearing Zulkernyn.
"Bringing knives to a gunfight? Zulkernyn, oh Zulkernyn!"
The others teased Zulkernyn, but the Descendant of Hassan clicked his tongue a few times, feeling irritated by his friends.
"SHUT UP! Knives are superior..."
"I don't agree. Sword are SUPERIORS!"
Sabastian shook his head before turning serious.
He took a deep breath as he started to tell his plan to the others.
"I think they will cross the Moskva River. I will go to the middle of the bridge and overtake their car. You guys will speed up and come closer. Before we start, you guys have to arm yourselves first. I will stop their car from the front. As soon as the car stops, shoot the rear wheels of their car. Then you guys will get out of the car before taking cover behind your car. Ian and I will take care of the front car, you guys will take the one in the rear. Start shooting them as soon as you see their head! We have no choice but to engage them this way." Sabastian said without stopping for breath.
"Zulkernyn, you're our wild card! You're the only one among us who can freely move in the darkness. If you can't kill them, try to disarm them. If we can stall them here and buy time, it's even better since reinforcements are coming." Ian said after Sabastian finished speaking.
Driving about two and a half kilometres, Sabastian called out to the others.
"You guys ready?"
"Ready!!!"
The misfits put on their earpieces in their ears.
"I'm starting then." said Sabastian.
"Zulk, quick!" said Erisviel.
Sabastian's car passed by the two black cars.
Zulkernyn's car in the back came within about ten meters behind the black cars.
Two consecutive shots came out of Erisviel's gun as Sabastian's car passed by the two black cars.
The first bullet hit on the front tire. The second bullet hit the windshield of the car. The tire of the car burst out. The car spun a few times before stopping.
The black car in the back also stopped by then.
The sound of two consecutive shots came from behind. The first bullet missed the target but the second bullet hit a tire of the car.
By that time Zulkernyn got out of the car.
Erisviel took control of the car from Zulkernyn and slid the car to one side of the bridge before stopping.
A moment later, Erisviel along with Ana and Daniella stepped out of the car and took cover behind their car.
Zulkernyn stayed out of sight.
Utilising the Hassan clans, Art Of Death, he blended into the darkness of the night.
Sabastian was on the opposite side of the bridge.
He too stopped his car before getting out with Ian, taking cover behind his car.
By then, 10 to 12 armed men stepped out of the black cars.
Ian fired the first shot.
The first shot from his gun and struck a gunman in the forehead. Killing him on the spot.
Sabastian and Ian moved to either side of the bridge by changing their positions.
The armed men from Twilight Throne saw one of their own drop dead!
Enraged, they shot towards where Sabastian and Ian were hiding.
(*bang bang x?*)
Ana, Erisviel and Daniella also started shooting the men from Twilight Throne from behind.
(*bang x5)
Four people from Twilight Throne with guns in the middle took cover behind their car after hearing the gunfire from the back.
They shot towards Ana and co.
It was midnight, the sky was covered by clouds.
Before engaging with Twilight Throne, Erisviel caused a power outage in the area.
So other than the lights coming from the cars and the flashes from the gunfire, it was dark on the bridge.
Getting attacked from both side of the bridge, the men from the Twilight Throne were at a disadvantage.
Zulkernyn quietly and stealthily approached the enemies in the middle.
Suddenly, a bullet passed by his ear.
A chill ran up his spine, escaping death by hair's breadth.
'Fuck! I can't approach them with all the bullets flying around!!!' Zulkernyn shouted inwardly before stepping out of the firing range.
Assessing the situation, a sudden idea popped up in his head.
He took out a few small knives under his jacket.
'If I can take out the lights, I may get an opportunity to approach them.' Zulkernyn muttered under his breath.
Aiming at the light sources on the cars, Zulkernyn threw the knives in succession.
One by one, the headlights of the cars shattered.
In the dark, not knowing their enemies location, the men from Twilight Throne blindly started to burst fire.
"Nice, Zulk!" Ian praised Zulkernyn for what he did.
"Ana, Sabastian! Cover fire!!!" Ian instructed the two through his earpiece.
Hearing Ian, the others started to distract the enemies to cover Ian.
Ian moved from his location as he tried to go near the men from Twilight Throne in the middle.
Bullets passed by Ian, landing behind him on the bridge.
Sabastian who was covering for Ian saw a perfect opportunity for him to act and help Ian kill a couple of Twilight Throne men.
He aimed his gun towards the enemies before entering his bullet-time mode.
For Sabastian, everything around him slowed down.
He could see his enemies clearly because of the flashes from the gunfire in his bullet-time mode.
He aimed at his enemies before shooting.
A few shot came out of Sabastian's gun.
A couple of bullets missed but one of the enemies was shot in the arm and the other in the left side of his chest.
Ian quickly followed up and shot a couple of times in succession.
They dropped dead immediately.
Men from Twilight Throne turned towards Ian.
Just as they were about to shoot,
Some of them heard their comrades groan in pain.
When Ian engaged with the enemies, Zulkernyn approached the enemies stealthily taking the opportunity created by Sabastian.
He slit the throat of two men in one swing and stabbed one other in the chest, killing the three in a matter of seconds!
The remaining six from Twilight Throne were startled hearing their comrade's painful groans.
Before they could turn to see the commotion behind them, Zulkernyn hurriedly threw a couple of daggers at his enemies.
Ian didn't stay still, he shot towards his confused enemies in succession before he ran out of bullets.
Only one man from Twilight Throne was standing.
Seeing all of his comrades dead, he plopped down in shock.
He was trembling in fear, as he looked around trying to make sense of what the f**k happened in just a couple of minutes, after engaging with the enemies who attacked them suddenly.
Sabastian could not see anyone standing in front of him other than Zulkernyn and Ian.
He briefly glanced at the trembling man who has lost all hope of staying alive.
Reloading his gun, he checked his surroundings.
Seeing no one, he turned towards the cars.
"Check the cars!" Sabastian instructed Zulkernyn as he approached one of the cars.
Zulkernyn nodded to Sabastian before checking the other car.
He took a peek inside the car and saw that there was no one inside.
The car was empty.
"Cle-" Just as Zulkernyn was about to shout out 'Clear'.
*bang*

I was celebrating Eid-al-fitre with my friends and family.
I also fasted in the final days of Ramadan so it was hard for me to translate the chapters.
The next chapter will be the final chapter of the volume!
