Chapter 3: CHAPTER 3
i looked up at the teacher and then down at my notebook as i wrote the notes. i blinked my eyes to stop my tears which were on the verge of falling. my body ached, it ached soo bad that even lifting my head or writing was extremely painful. i took deep breaths to calm myself or else jimin would notice and i don't want him to get worried.
*flashback*
i took out all my belongings and closed the locker when.. "look who we have here" i turned towards the source of sound. kang Lana. as soon as i saw her my eyes widened as chills ran down my spine. she came closer to me "our pretty little y/n" she said as she traced my cheek with her long sharp nails causing it to scratch my delicate skin. "w-what do you want lana?" i stuttered as i looked down not daring to look in her eyes. "oh nothing much i just missed you soo much during these holidays so i thought why not come and greet you." she said with a smirk plastered on her face. she then used her index finger to lift my chin as i tightly closed my eyes. "aww is our y/nie scared of us?" she laughed along with her 3 friends. "why don't we have some fun? my hands have been itching since forever" she asked looking at her friends "sure why not! my hands have been itching too" one of them said. lana then turned towards me and smiled "okay so lets go y/nie. we'll have lots of fun today"
she grabbed my hair as she dragged me towards their regular hideout place which was behind the main school building in the old basketball court. she threw me harshly on the floor causing my right hand to hit the concrete floor with force. "aah!" i groaned due to the pain, holding my right arm. i then saw lana coming towards me through my peripheral vision. she bend down and took my hair in her hands as pulled it back making me look at her.
"you are such a useless piece of shit. you are just a burden on this world." she then looked down and scanned my clothes "are trash allowed to dress nicely?" she asked she again made eye contact with me. she let go of my hair and stood up. "girls let start with the fun session and make her look even more beautiful." she said as she looked down at me as her friends came towards me aswell. lana then lifted her arms slapping me across my face with force as her other friends also started puncing, kicking and slapping me.
"please no stop" i begged as lana kicked my stomach. "you deserve it you bitch" she said as she kept kicking me while her other friends also kicked and punched me. i kept groaning and crying from the pain calling out for help but obviously no one was here to help me. "stop" lana said as she stopped her minions after they were satisfied. "i think its enough for today, lets leave this trash here and go now" she kicked my stomach once again before leaving and like that i was left there crying in pain as i clutched my stomach. "aah! why me?" i said barely in a whisper. every part of my body was aching as i kept groaning and crying.
i just laid there holding my stoach trying to easy my pain. after a few minutes i tried getting up. "AAAH!" i screamed due to sudden pain in my body. somehow after many tries i managned to crawl towards the main door and held the door's frame for support as i tried standing up straight. i slowly made my way towards my locker, picking up my bag , a jacket and scarf before making my way towards the washroom. i went inside and closed the door before walking upto the mirror. i slowly looked up at my reflection in the mirror. bruises. they were all over my face and my hands. i lifted up my top a little getting a glance of my stomach it wasn't any better and in case it was worse. i sighed as i took out a high coverage concealer from my bag and started covering the bruises that were on my face and neck.
after that i wore a jacket to hide all the rest of the bruises and let my hair fall on my face to hide the scratch as well. finally i wrapped the scarf around my neck, then looked at myself for the last time before making my way to the class.
*end flashback*
the first period ended and i was collecting all my books when rose came up to me "Ayo y/nie" she said as she slapped my back "Ow" i groaned. "w-what happen did i hit you way to hard?" she asked with worry written all over her face as she tried reaching out to touch my back but before that i stepped back. "no rose its okay i was just being dramatic nothing else" i said with a small smile. "are you sure? let me see once" "NO.... i mean n-no its okay i am perfectly fine." i forced out a more cheerful smile. "if you say so" just then jimin came up to us "hey girls sup!" he said as he snaked his arms around my waist. "oh nothing we were just getting ready for the next class" i said as i looked at him. "so what do you have?" i asked "PE" he replied with a groan. you chuckled at his suddenly sullen mood and then turned towards rose "and you rose?" "well i have eng. and i think i should get going." "oh okay byee" i waved at her as she left the clasroom, then i turned towards jimin. "i wanna ask you something." "yeah sure go ahead" he looked at me for a second contemplating if he should ask the question or not. "come on baby ask it." i said as i wrapped my hands around his neck. "well um....i didn't see you wearing that jacket in the morning..?" i was taken aback. i though he wouldn't notice but guess i was wrong. "w-well i just felt like wearing it. i was feeling cold all of a sudden" i said with a small smile "what?! are you sick?" he asked as he touched my forehead "no i am fine now. nd i think i should get going too. byee" i said as i pecked his lips before grabbing my bag and leaving the classroom.
*time skip * * after the end of the period*
"this period was exhausting" i sighed as i stretched my body while standing up "aah!" i almost screamed at the sudden pain which caused me to fall back on my chair. "it still hurts alot" i mumbled trying to stand again and succeeding this time. i took my bag and walked out of the classroom. honestly it was very painful for me to walk without any support after getting beaten to death but i still tried my best because i did not want anyone to worry about me.i was infront of the infirmary when i felt someone grab my arm and pull me inside it.
