The now-current emperor had led an attack on the forbidden city killing his father, claiming he had been rejected by the heavens. His brothers and consort mothers that had plotted against him were all either publicly executed or banished to the regional areas where they met their end. the same was done with the court officials that had not backed him. in this way, the current emperor came to rein in blood, his position stable as the son of heaven. He truly is a formidable and untouchable man. Yu Chen's line of thought led to the more intimate and touchable memories of the emperor and the originals nightly battles, his face turned red with shame.
