Chapter 82: Umar and Khadija:Let The Truth be told

Khadija:

"Okay mom, I will try Insha'Allah" even though my legs were turning into led; preventing my legs from moving and my body was beginning to tremble with fear, I forced myself down the last few steps seeking Allah's guidance "Ya Allah, please help me with what's to come"

"I know Umar loves me Allah but please don't let him want to marry me today or next available date to soften the blow of what's to come.  Please let it be because he wants to marry me as much as I do and because he loves me and wants me as much as I do him… please Allah!"

As soon as I entered into the room; my eyes filled with water with what I saw before me and the grief-stricken faces of my loved ones tore me into a zillion pieces; my worse fear was confirmed.  Before I fell to the ground, strong arms caught me and carried me to the sofa, murmuring endearing words of love and protection but nothing could remove the image that I saw before my eyes and the disruption I knew was to come.
