Chapter 36: Gym Battle
I arrive at Dewford Island and head straight to the pokemon center.
I quickly spot Ash and his friends arguing.
Me: "What a heavy climate".
Everyone: "Jim !!!!"
Ash recovers faster and asks.
Ash: "Jim, tell them that when you want to win, you shouldn't stop attacking".
Me: "Well that's what I normally do, but I don't think it's for anyone. What happened?"
Brock: "Ash got tough in the gym battle, Treecko was seriously hurt because Ash didn't know when to stop".
Jim: "Hm, negligence aside, I'm glad you didn't stop".
Max: "WHAT? Treecko got hurt and you think Ash did it right."

He launched a Hariyama and I launched Larvesta.

Brawly: "Hariyama, Body slam".
At the same time, Hariyama jumps in an unbelievable way due to his size and quickly gets close to Larvesta.

Larvesta covers himself in flames and dodges Hariyama.
Brawly: "Don't give space, Vital Throw".
Once again Hariyama approaches.
Me ": Flame charge gain distance".
Larvesta quickly reaches the other side of the field.
Brawly: "This time there is no escape, Heavy slam".
Hariyama takes a big jump and descends like a big meteor.

A big hit on the floor makes the gym shake.
Hariyama didn't get it right, but there is no way out of that part of the field without going through Hariyama.

A small explosion of flames on Hariyama's face causes him to miss the blow.

Hariyama starts hitting the green spherical barrier around Larvesta.

A smile graces my lips.
Me: "Larvesta, Take Down".
The moment the barrier is broken, Larvesta left there, striking Hariyama.
Brawly: "Now, Hariyama Finalize."
But Hariyama fell.
Brawly: "WHAAAAAAAAAAT?"
He's not the only one the entire gym has its mouth open.
Brawly: "But how? Your Pokémon was about to be defeated!"
Me: "Is it? I don't think so."
At that moment Brawly looks at Larvesta and he is exceptionally well, no tension can be seen in him as if he had just come out of the pokéball, it certainly looks like not a pokémon that has just come out of a fight.
Brawly: "What happened?"
Not only him, everyone here expects me to give an explanation.
Me: "Don't you see? Don't you think it's a little hot here?"
At that moment Brawly realizes that he is drenched in sweat, he was probably so immersed in the fight that he did not notice and instantly he and the others here notice the field is still with the golden flames of the Fire Spin.
Me: "If I'm not mistaken your Hariyama's ability is 'Trick Fat', then I knew you were going to ignore Fire Spin".
