Chapter 2: The New Guy
Dear Diary...
My therapist asked me today "Did you wrote anything".
I said "Yes"
She asked "how much you wrote?"
I said "The story has just started"
So lets continue with my story about the first conversation we had...
"Hi..."
That simple word had such dramatic effect in my life. Do you wanna know how?. Well First I checked if he was actually talking to me by looking behind me then looking back at him and pointing at myself I asked "Mmm..e..ee... ?"
To which he laughed which made me realize even his laugh is musical. I just realized up close He looks even more handsome. He said "Yes. I saw you at Mr. Shin Wan's wedding reception. It is you right?" he asked the last question with a bit of hesitation.
I said simply "Yesss" but inside it was causing an havoc HE REMEMBERED ME LOOKING AT HIM
does he think now that I am a creep? I hope not.
But all my nevousness and inner battle went away after he said "I knew it was you"
Then he whispered almost to himself "No one can forget such a beautiful face" to much for my embarrassment he blushed as well while I was looking at him with my mouth open.
"I wasn't being a creep. It just I saw you before and today as well so I just wanted to introduce myself. I am Cha Min"
"I know" I wanted to punch myself for saying that so I quickly added
"I mean everyone knows you are the new guy."
He smiled and asked " And you are?"
"I am Kang Ji Eun"
"It is nice meeting you Kang Ji Eun" and then he left. I felt like a storm just passed and realized that I miss him already...
Instantantly the inner battle started 'Idiot idiot idiot.. why weren't you able to speak a single statement without stuttering?'
I saw Yuna rushing towards me to know the latest gossip about the new guy but I couldn't form a single statement being too deep in my own thoughts. After few moments I realized she was still waiting for my answer so I said "He was just introducing himself. I saw him at Mr. Shin Wan's wedding reception."
"Ooooohhh!!!" She said. Linked her arm in mine and we went for the next class.
The day passed and I couldn't stop myself from looking at him every now and then. Whenever our eyes meet he would smile at me and I'll just remove my eyes and blush for being caught. When the day ended I was so relieved that I will get some time to gather my thoughts and maybe then I wont behave like a complete idiot infront of my crush.... CRUSH... and I realized that I have a crush on the school's new boy.
Maybe this day has passed but how am I going to survive the rest of the year?...
