Chapter 8: Special
Looking at everyone that we're still trying to figure out if what they saw was true. Zen looked at Nijimura intending to challenge him next, before Akashi's voice sounded ''Brother it's time to start the training.'' getting the meaning behind his words Zen just nodded and joined the rest of the 1st string in silence.
Meanwhile, Nijimura was sweating bullets just by looking at the look Zen gave him, for him Zen was a wolf hungry and that locked onto his prey. Feeling the pressure Nijimura decided to train harder to not get surpassed by the newbie.
Being able to defeat Aomine from Zen managed to become the starting small forward of the team his goal was to take the Power forward but he still had to wait for a little bit more.
Playing with the first string was very satisfying since everyone knew how to play in their position and especially the 5 1st year geniuses, Aomine was training like a mad man to get back his position, while Nijimura was trying to maintain his own, Haizaki on the other side was skipping training like its normal, everyone just ignores his behavior in the 1st string since he won't be a regular.
Akashi started Kuroko's shadow training and he will be ready for next year, Kuroko is hard working and loves to play basketball, that's why Zen got well together with him.
The days passed by and the team solidified their teamwork. In this time Zen was analyzing his teammates and stealing some abilities here and there although, experimenting with The End, the first thing that could be noted was the fact that he needed some time to copy the abilities and upgrade them, having to analyze the body of the target took some time even in his Super Human Physiology state were it boosted his overall strength up to 30% which was a lot, the abilities are evolving and that is something Zen is feeling, the feeling was like some chain is close to breaking and yet it feels so far.
Besides all the events in the club, Zen and Momoi got closer and closer has friends although they are yet to go on a date, they spend most of the breaks talking to each other. This won the jealousy of men and women around, but what could they do...
Everyone was excited for the first game of the preliminary. That will take place In 2 weeks time.
And using the excuse that he needed to buy a new pair of basketball shoes he invited Momo to their first date.
----Morning of the day of the date----
Looking at the mirror Zen with a black outfit, he couldn't help but sigh at how anything looked good enough on him today. Maybe it was because he was nervous after all after spending time with momo he started developing feelings for her since she was responsible and gentle, all this was good the only downside was that she insisted on cooking, she was the type of person that could follow a culinary video with all the ingredients and manage to do something that would pass a black miasma to the atmosphere, I had to eat her cooking some times and it simply was a terror, I even dream of the black energies that came from her food.
I tried to say that I would cook for her but she always rejected, for the sake of our future today I have to tell her to keep herself away from the kitchen permanently unless she wants to assassinate someone.
Anyway, Zen is feeling stressed his heart just won't stop beating like crazy, this is something he never experienced in his last life, so he is ready to discover new things today.
Choosing an outfit which was white sneakers, blue jeans that looked very good because it only helped to define his waist, and a tight white hoodie. Sometimes simple is the best.
''Mom what do you think?''Zen asked his mother who immediately dashed to his room.
Inspecting his son she said ''Instead of white use Pink.'' .Nodding Zen just accepted her suggestion, after all, he didn't know what to wear anyway.
''Mom wish me luck'' he said while hugging her, which Shiori responded with a bright smile and said.''I hope you don't come home but since your still too young, have some fun, my baby.'' she kissed his forehead and let go of him, clearly she was emotional after all, her baby was ready to date finally.
-----Place of the meeting----
''Ahhh I came too early.'' thought Zen while listening to music, this continued until someone tapped his shoulder. Looking to his back he found a slender girl with pink hair and eyes, her smile was just intoxicating attracting the gaze of countless men in the surrounding.
She smiled and asked ''Have you been waiting for too long?'', breaking out from his daze Zen shook his head. which won the giggle of her pair.
1st rule on a date --->Don't be late at least get 5 minutes early
2nd rule of a date --> Even if you wait for an hour and she asks if you waited for too long you should always deny it. [Author: If you wait for an hour you're a legend, but don't wait that long if she doesn't say she/he will be late...]
3rd rule of a date ---> Have a general idea of what you want to do. spots to visit near the destination.

Walking around the stores both Momoi and Zen were having fun, shopping they even had lunch in a place that opened recently. But something feels odd Zen feels like he is being watched, looking around him and not seeing anything suspicious and keeps his attention on the date.
Everything went well although they didn't leap boyfriend and girlfriend or the legendary first kiss, they felt closer to each other and both of them decided to do these things more times, which is a good thing.
When they were going home he heard a voice saying ''HEY! Atsushi you're in the way.''
Looking at the direction where I heard the voice I could see a group of 4 looking at him and Momo in the corner disguised with glasses.
''How did you guys discover?''Zen asked them in a serious tone.
''Actually, Zen when you were planing the date I was right in front of both of you eating my lunch.'' Said Kuroko in a matter of fact tone.
''And so you organized all this?'' Zen looked at Kuroko trying to figure him out.
''Don't be like that Zen you should know that Satsuki is my best friend, and this is the first time she is going out with someone, I have to know what was going to happen, but let me tell you, you are quite dense.'' Said Aomine in a serious tone.
''The last person to say that to me should be you.'' Zen thought in his mind, ''Forget it lets go to eat some Ice cream together.
Little did Zen know that he was being watched in the distance by a mature woman who was watching the scene unfolding since the beginning sighing she said ''My baby Zen really is growing up, although you didn't manage it today Mommy will help you achieve it in the future.''
