Chapter 217: Chapter 214 - You should reward me!
Aile would not get scammed by Sara again. He knew that she was just going for an excuse to make him do something. From her eyes, he could guess that she planned for another intimate night so that she could forgive her. But she also brought a valid point. However, he did not want to explain to her that a more powerful technique could trigger her being absorbed into Hazel quicker. He was not sure of what could spark an adverse effect. Therefore, he was avoiding changes to her and Hazel as much as possible now. Not to mention Hazel already had a decent cultivation technique that she passed on to her.
So he just shrugged and kissed her for distraction. She was smart enough to know that she should not bring up the topic now. So they all rested calmly after that, enjoying the warm scented water, while the ladies held Aile into their embrace.
Aile also started to notice other benefits and effects of the dual cultivation technique. His spirit surmounting cultivation was improving. As it consisted of all elements, dual cultivation with any different element cultivators would give him benefits. This results in increasing one's efficiency, and also because of his multiple-elements, anyone he sleeps with will benefit too. Normally, unless two people are of the same element, they do not dual cultivate, as it could have adverse effects. He had noticed some other changes to his body and soul, but nothing significant yet that he could pinpoint. Soon after, Anna whispered into Sophie's ear, and after getting her nod, she sat on Aile's lap and asked for a kiss. After the passionate kiss, she left.
This left Aile, Sara, and Sophie in the bath. After making sure Anna left, Aile looked at Sara, and she understood what he wanted to say. She replied before he even asked the question, "You should reward me, instead of giving me that look?"
"Why?"
"The people at the top of the organization... you want them to have a lot of responsibility and be trustable. You do not want them to have any relationship... so they do not have competing interests. But it will leave them unsatisfied in other parts of their life. Now Anna will be loyal for many reasons, so I am solving the problem here. Hence I need a treat."
Aile was speechless and said, "Emily is the harem leader talk with her about this." Aile knew that the issue she mentioned was indeed one that they had thought about. They could not come up with a solution yet, and they had left the problem to deal with later. With a long life span, unless people were forced, they can hold off relationships until later, when they have a more solid footing. Therefore, Aile's temporary strategy was to ignore the problem and push for a solution later.
Aile did not want to discuss this with Sara, and he thought that Emily had taken the role of the harem's leader, so she should talk with Sara about this. Aile decided to let Emily deal with it, as he was more concerned about how Sara and Anna's relationship were going. As they are working together, Aile did not want Sara to go overboard and make Anna develop a grudge.
Sara was not happy about the harem's leadership position being given to Emily, and she also saw that Aile was going to talk to her more about what happened.
So she gave a look towards Sophie, pleading with her to deal with that, while she defends her actions. They knew each other well enough, and it was a signal for Sophie to show her objection to the harem leader. Meanwhile, she defended herself once again, "Anna is my favourite employee, and she liked you. Either she would be rejected by you and remain alone for the rest of her life. She would be sad seeing us with you and probably do something she would regret because of her curiosity. Or she would be accepted, and our time would be reduced, and I would no longer like her for that. Now she will be happy, and so will I. This was the solution that will bring a satisfactory result for us. I will deal with any problem that arises because of it. Do not worry, I like her, so she will not be mistreated. I even allowed her to take my place and sleep next to you in bed. Now I am happy, and she is not denied... By the way, did you like the surprise, did you like her?"
It was clear that she did not want to be interrogated about her maid and friend. So Aile stopped and nodded at her question, letting her know that her surprise was acceptable. Her response and reasoning had a combination of selfishness and also care for her friend. He realized that he should not be worried about her on that front much.
Aile did not want to comment or show his opinion too much on her action. This is because, in his view, this was very beneficial. Because of the dual cultivation, and taking their first times, his dark element had already crossed the first stage.
His spirit surmounting cultivation was operating more efficiently, and any time now, he can reach the 5th stage on that. All of the advantages from last night has not been processed. His current improvements and benefits were mostly due to dual cultivating with Hazel.
There were still a lot of benefits that need to be processed. It is collected from them now, which would push him ahead in the next few days. Not to mention that her suggestion would also provide benefit for him. As it is a way to increase the greed and lust portion of his darkness element to advance in them.
But because of all these side advantages, Aile knew that he was not the right person to make the call on her plan. Emily should consider it without knowing the benefits for him and solve it while not feeling guilty that they are stopping him from some opportunity.
