Chapter 1: Chapter 1
"Knight, your request for a week leave is approved." Mr. Je said as he flashed me his famous smile. "You may now go." He waved his hands giving me signal to leave.
I've been waiting this for a couple of weeks. As I got my request granted, I immediately packed my things, go straight to my friend's place and started travelling.
We are now at El sueño city. Infrastructures seems so old but yet so unique, all I can say is it's classy and I love it.
"Knight, this will be your place to stay. If you need something, you can ask me, I'm in the room adjacent to yours," Phoenix said in a calm voice.
"Thank you. By the way, I'll be having a walk later." I don't want to bother him and I don't want to wander around with him because he gets bored easily.
"Fine." he replied. I can sense him being worried but I assured him I'll be fine.
The moment I set my foot to the scanty litter, I can see evergreen trees. How can I not love the forest so? From simple sun, water, mud, seed and forms of life around me that hums. As I glance at the leaf that is starting to fall, a bird that sings sweetly caught my attention. I started following the invisible path that it creates. Every step I take it gives me sweet sensation.
I ran and ran and ran as I hear the sweet singing getting louder and louder. Another step and I can feel myself falling. A smell of timidness in the air... I have no clue what is ahead. Then I fell.
" Water?! Where in the world am I? " I switched on my flashlight... I saw a cave that offers astounding views. I thought I was lucky enough to still live but I'm even luckier to witness this astonishing views. Still I need to be really careful, who knows what kind of monster is lurking in the dark. Clutching my fists tightly, as I keep on moving forward. Voices are coming nearer... Whisperings! As I get closer a dark oak door stopped me from sprinting.
I opened the door and I saw a parrot! I walked towards it... A toy parrot?! But I just witnessed it moved, I swear it really did move! A screeching sound comes after. I turned my head looking for the possible place where it came from. I accidentally dropped my flashlight then I spot a girl... More like a woman.
