Chapter 1: Forbidden love story
"My most precious daughter, why are you still awake? Hmm?." my father said as he entered my room.
"Father, I can't sleep. Can you tell me a bedtime stories? Oh, how about your love story with my beautiful mother? Pretty please??" I used my puppy dog eyes to pursuade my father, and I never failed.
I am Alexandria Tan, 18 years old. old and the daughter of the youngest and most handsome Wolf King seated on the throne. For me, my father is the most handsome of all, of course, because he was my father, so I'm a bit biased. My mother was the most beautiful Snake Princess of the Snake Clan, most beautiful in my eyes and also not to mention in my father's eyes. I inherited the powers of my Wolf father and Snake mother. I can change my form from being a wolf to being a snake. But that was my biggest secret being into the Wolf Clan. My father always reminds me not to let myself reveal my powers to anyone in the Wolf Clan or that there will be chaos.
" Okay, okay, but promise me to sleep after." My father said, and I simply nod my head. I really love their love story because it was forbidden love, but as they said, love conquers all.
Wolf Clan and Snake clan are always at odds and never known the existence of PEACE towards one another.
But despite the unconditional feud between the two clans, a new proclaimed, gorgeous, and youngest Wolf King named Marcus fell in love with the only and most treasured young Princess of the Snake Clan named Isabela. Snake Princess is the most beautiful woman the Wolf King has ever seen in his life. Their encounter happened to be just an accident when the Wolf King are hunting in a deserted and dangerous forest. He happens to see a scenario where a beautiful lady fights the two tigers by herself and won. After the fight, the beautiful lady seems injured, so he comes to aid her but so happens to notice that she is from the Snake Clan. He walked away, but later on, he came back beside the unconscious woman and helped cure her wounds.
After that incident, they began to see each other secretly. Away from the eyes of their clans. Soon enough, their love blooms like a flower on spring without caring, which Clan they came from. And..
"And here comes you! That's it end of the story. Sleep now, my precious daughter!" My father ended his storytelling about him and my beautiful mother.
"That's it, father?!!" I was so engrossed in their love story that I don't want it to end. I was dissatisfied because I knew that my father took a shortcut.

A loud screamed that woke me up from my deep slumber sleep. Who has the guts to woke me up from my beautiful dreamland?!.Sighed. No other than my best friend Gabriel Lee. He was the only one who had the guts to woke me up because we've known each other since childhood.
I'm proud to say that my best friend is one of the most handsome young man in our Clan with a dark brown hair, tantalizing almond brown eyes, curvy eyebrows with straight nose, and a thin yet kissable lips. Given his looks, I'm still sorry for the girls who cried for him. Hmph! What a playboy!.
"What do you want?! Say it! How dare you disturb my sleep? Better it to be important or I'll toss you out of my window!" I'm really going to toss him out if the news is not important enough in exchange for my sleep.
"Let's go take a college entrance exam to the Capital. It will be so much fun if we can enter because it was the most famous boarding school in the Capital. And I know you don't want to miss it! I know that you want to get away from here and roam around the Capital. " Gab soon finished his long speech with an excited expression.
" Boarding School?! What do you mean the most famous and prestigious X University is holding an entrance examination?" That was a piece of shocking news for me because that was my dream school.
X University is the most famous and prestigious university situated in the Capital. And Capital is the center of all clans that serve as the Government that governs all the clans.
"Yes, yes, you are right! What are you waiting for? Get up now!" Gab was so eager to go, but soon he realized something and asked with worry, " Will your father approve of you going to the Capital and living on a boarding school?"
My excitement was also washed out because of what he said. " I don't know. You know that he was so overprotective of me that he wants me to just stay in the Clan." I answered with low spirit, but given the positivity of my best friend, he answered, " You can do it, and given that you have me, there might change the view of your father. I can protect you."
"Really? You can protect me? But I clearly remembered that I beat you up during our last match." I smiled at him while raising one of my eyebrows.
"Hey! Don't change the topic and get up! We should ask now for permission from your father." He hurriedly said while his face flushed with embarrassment. I can only laugh at him and push him out of my room. " Wait for me downstairs." After I said that, I washed up and got ready.

After so many ways of assuring and convincing my father to let me out, and here I come! Finally! I was able to breathe the air of the Capital. Together with my best friend, we passed the test and went to our separate boarding rooms.
As they said, the first day of school was the most memorable day of the school year. But not for me, I guess, until I heard the eardrum breaking scream from girls and gasped from boys. I lift my head from my seat because you know I love to sleep during my free time, and I don't want it to waste to some unproductive things. As soon as I lifted my head, I saw the most handsome man I ever laid my eyes on. He's even more handsome than my best friend, who is sitting beside the window in front of me, sleeping also. We two love to sit beside the window to appreciate the scenery outside so we are not sitting beside each other.
I transferred my gaze from my best friend to the person in front of the whole class. He's simply gorgeous with dark raven hair, dark deep, simmering eyes, paired with slightly frowned eyebrows, a straight nose with a thin curvy lips. I was dumbstruck with his looks.
"I'm Samuel Xi, 19 yrs. old. From Snake Clan." What a waste he's from the Snake Clan, and that makes me sad all of a sudden because of my father's reminder for me not to get close to any of the Snake Clan people. When the professor knows that he is done with his introduction, let him find a vacant seat. I was dumbstruck when we locked eyes, and I don't know if it's luck or simply bad luck.

I roamed my eyes for a vacant seat and locked my eyes with beautiful green, sleepy eyes. She was simply beautiful even with the simple light blue robe she's wearing. She has this pair of green sparkling eyes, long black hair, curvy eyebrows with a thin straight nose, and thin yet curvy kissable lips. She's mesmerizing, and I can't help but drag my feet towards her and sit beside her without revealing an expression.
