Chapter 95: Mew places his mark
After the whole affair on Geonosis, Mew joined Padme on a small trip to Naboo. She had a small villa there and had proposed to Mew he stayed there if he wanted to. Mew happily agreed, as he didn't like the places he had been to up till now. One was a giant desolate planet, while the other was only buildings.
Once on Naboo, Mew was visiting all kinds of places. He roamed from the Lake country to the underwater village of the Gungans. The chief there was quite similar to a Gungan senator named Jar Jar Binks. They were an amphibian race which lived underwater.
After spooking a few of them, trying on some of their smaller sized clothes (which were still way too big), and continuous flying in and out of the semi-permeable bubbles, Mew went back towards the Lake country. He had been going back and forth between the villa, the Gungans and the capital of Naboo for a few weeks now and he still enjoyed finding new things.
He had also traveled through the planets core to see which way was faster, above water or below. He still found it hard to see which though. The water creatures in the core were the funniest and most entertaining. It was an eat or be eaten place, so a lot of them tried to eat him. Tried. Whenever it happened, Mew would stick a big block of ice in their mouths which wouldn't break/melt for the rest of the day.
That's how most of his time on Naboo went.
Once back at the Villa, Mew once again saw Padme, who had taken a short break from her work.
"Hey Mew. How have you been? Are you enjoying yourself?"
Padme asked after she changed into a more comfortable garb.
[Yes! It's so fun! The Gungans are a interesting bunch, while the underwater monsters are amusing to prank. The Naboo people are very kind and made a few ribbons for me.]
Mew said as he showed the few colorful ribbons he had received.
[I also got some paint to mess around with.]
Mew said as he also showed the many varieties of paint. He dabbeled with it a lot and was soon covered in the colorful paint.
Padme laughed at the childish display Mew was showing her, as not even his back had been spared.
She grabbed a handkerchief and tried to rubb him clean, though it was harder than she had thought. After proving to be too difficult for a piece of cloth, Padme gave up, though she still laughed at the funny faces Mew was making as he continued to try out more paint on his own face. If she waited any longer in stopping him, he might end up looking like a Togruta.
"Why don't you clean up for now. Anakin should be around here somewhere as well. When you're clean you can play around with Anakin."
Padme said, brightening up Mew.
[I'll go!] Mew said as he hurried to the bathroom.
He really wanted to play with Anakin again.
Arriving in the bathroom, Mew saw steam coming up from below the closed door.
'Intruder! Let's get him!'
Mew playfully thought as he had a suspicion on who it might be.
Going into the bathroom without a sound, Mew spotted an naked Anakin washing of some brown grime and dust.
Mew gave Anakin a once over as he nodded his head.
'He looks great, though Wallace is better. Even the little mushroom of Wallace looks better.'
Mew thought as he continued to gawk.
'Though I do wonder what that mushroom's purpose is...'
Shaking his head, Mew smirked with a mischievous glint in his eyes. In his little paw he grasped a paintbrush. Dabbing the brush with a layer of paint and fusing it entirely with his own energy, Mew silently began to paint figures on Anakin's pale white cheeks (the butt obviously).
Mew took extra care not to alert Anakin, going as far as numbing the area in which he was painting. Even the water didn't affect the painting, credited to Mew's energy. After having made a decent picture of two snuggling Togepi. Now Anakin didn't only have eggs on the front side, but also the backside. As an added feature, an extra effect was added. Not wanting to let Anakin know about it, Mew stopped thinking about the feature entirely and finally went to greet the ususpecting Anakin.
Tapping him on the shoulder, Mew waved excitedly as Anakin became startled at seeing Mew so suddenly. He had a bad feeling as soon as he saw him. Looking with suspicion at Mew, Mew looked away in complete innocence and occupied the shower above Anakin as he washed of all the paint, in return splashing it all on Anakin.
Giggling at his expense, Mew fled the bathroom completely wet as he waited for the angry yell to start.
Not long after, Mew could hear Anakin roar loudly as a stream of curses was heard. Laughing loudly, rolling about as he tightly held his aching stomach, Mew continued to laugh as he saw a embarrassingly blushing Anakin as he had a bathtowel tightly tied around him.
"Get it off! Now!"
Anakin yelled as he pointed angry at Mew.
[Don't want to!]
Mew said as he once again started to laugh.
"This isn't funny! I can't get it off!"
Anakin roar.
[That was the intention.]
Mew shamelessly said.
"Why?"
Anakin said as he had calmed down a bit and started to feel a bit of despair. What would the others think when they heard about this. He didn't even want to think about it.
[Hmm... to place my mark?]
Mew said in a questioning tone.
Not long after, Padme entered the room as she saw an innocently blinking Mew and a half naked despairing Anakin.
"What is going on here?" Padme said, confused about the situation.
"It's nothing..."
Anakin said as he returned to the bathroom, attempting again to remove the stain on his pride.
