Chapter 10: Chapter 10- Ice Cream

I wore the necklace my father gave to school the next day, and it seems Ramona noticed. She asked me about it, and I explained it was a gift from my father. she smiled and said "Nice", we then walked to class, and then separated. School was basically the same as the other days, except after school me and Ramona went to get ice cream, the cold and sweet taste of vanilla ice cream was especially nice today, considering it was very hot. The mood between me and Ramona was very light at the moment, Sarah then walked in and waved at me, and I waved back, Ramona turned her head to see who it was and saw Sarah. She turned to me and asked if we were "friends or something" I just told her "she talked to me yesterday, and was waving her hand at me now, if anything, we we're acquaintances". Ramona smiled and said " Oh okay" and then Sarah ordered her ice cream and asked if she could sit with us, and I told her "Yes" she sat down and we all talked and laughed, but Ramona didn't laugh, I don't think she likes Sarah, it looks like she's scowling almost, soon we were done with our ice cream and Sarah left, Ramona looked at me with a angry look, and asked me if I still had a crush on her, I told her "No, we're just friends, like you and me" she gave off a serious and long expression, sighed, and said " okay, whatever, I'm gonna go home now" and she the left. When I got home I made dinner, and me and my dad ate, cleaned up, and went to our rooms to sleep, but I didn't go to sleep right away, Sarah texted me and we talked for a while, after we were done talking I wondered to myself why she talked to me instead of Joey, so of course I asked him, he told me that they were taking a "break." I asked if he was okay, and he said he was, but, I don't completely believe him, but I know it means he doesn't want to talk about it. so I let him be, and went to sleep.
