Chapter 48: Young Hero
There was a split-moment thrilling sound that rung, then a brief moment of darkness— slightly longer than a blink of an eye, followed, for igbins. He felt his body shudder and soar through the air before a numbing pain crept over his ass.
Thud!
"Aaa!" He cried, and his eyes shot open as his body suffered a shocking crash. He felt the breath rushed out of him, then a spasming pain crept over his body, putting him in agony.
Igbins looked about his immediate environment and discovered that he was no longer with Sonia.
'How come?' He worked a query that needed no answer. Even though he had been caught of guard he could deduce the possibilities to supply his question. After all, It's not as if he didn't know he had been displaced. He felt a force and his body was tossed through the air just now, certainly, he would not be in the same spot where he was before.
Nevertheless, he still felt the need to discern how he had managed to change position; someone or something must have knocked him over.
He looked towards a nearby distance and saw that Sonia was still lying completely naked on the ground. She appeared completely unconscious. He saw Sally standing some distance away from her, breathing heavily.
Sally was no longer holding her down. He had a bitter look upon his face, starring daggers at something or someone. His vicious glare left a trail upon which Igbins hacked on then, to settle at a spot.
However, when Igbins trailed the direction of Sally's dangerous gaze, he met his vision on a boy. Or more precisely, a youth.
The youth was upright and astute, with a piece of clothing in his hands, as he stood impressively over Sonia. Naturally, something was upsetting about the way that youth stood over Sonia. He stood as if he was a guardian angel, sent down to be her protector.
Igbins suddenly felt a sharp pricking in his heart, his mind started mingling with numerous self Absorbing questions.
"Aaa!" He grumbled in pain from the irritation he's was experiencing. But he couldn't tell if it was from the resentment he felt by what he was seeing or if it was from the injuries he sustained when he slammed onto the ground. However, the pain only took his attention for a brief moment. It was a trivial issue in contrast to this youth who had now piqued his utmost interest.
The main discomfort he was having now, however, was in his mind. His many unanswered questions. Yet, above all else was the question—Why was the youth standing so close to Sonia?
'Is he planning to protect her?' He silently probed himself.
Then, almost as if on cue, the strange youth took the piece of clothing and placed it over Sonia's naked body. Such a decent action naturally, quickly eeked Igbins, who instantly stood up, assessing the unexpected situation. His fiery red eyes, started shooting straight anger at the strange youth, if only the eyes could kill, that youth would've been dead by a million times over. However, at that moment Sonia's body twitched and moved slightly.
She blinked tiredly and her vision met with the light from pale blue skies when she gradually opened her eyes.
Although she had initially decided to shut her eyes because she couldn't bear to watch as she was being raped by her closest friend, she later fainted. However, she quickly noticed that her hands and legs were free again when she woke up from the brief loss of consciousness so she summoned the courage to open her eyes and ascertain her situation. Then, She saw a youth standing close to her.
As if on reflexes, she immediately tried to get away from him.
'Who is this?' She thought squinting as her watery eyes and the day's light bleared her vision.
This person she was discerning was an entirely different youth, he wasn't one of the two boys who were attempting to assault her before.
Moreover, He appeared slightly taller than igbins but certainly more muscular than the other Sally. 'Did I pass out and not notice they were already done with me?' She thought. Her heart raced with terror at the mere idea 'No, I couldn't have passed out. Maybe they decided to let him harass me first.' She presumed and quickly started to crawl back, to save herself.
"What! Are you trying to escape?" Someone yelled from her back.
While she was busy trying to get away from the strange new boy Igbins had already hurried closer to where she was.
Even though he was still naked he didn't give a care. He got to her back before he shouted his question.
"Oh no!" She panicked once she heard the voice
A startling chill ran through her when she heard Igbins's voice. Although Sonia hadn't seen him, there was no mistaking that dreadful voice. She suddenly halted on her path. It became even, very apparent that she had now developed a rooted fear for Igbins when she hastily got up and scrambled back to meet with the strange new boy that she had been trying to get away from, and clutched herself to his arms.
It was not until she firmly clasped his hand did she even bother to stop and look back.
"You! What are you trying to do? Are you the one who kicked me before?" Igbins barked at that strange fellow. He was eyeing the boy from head to toe as he spoke "Tell me the truth, are you trying to pretend that you're a hero? Is that what you're striving to do? Tell me now, because I can assure you it won't end well for you." He said heaving harsh breaths and fuming with extreme anger
One stare at his face would tell anyone, how greatly pissed he was at that moment. His face had already turned pink from anger. yet his anger was still seething.
"You should cover yourself properly now. I don't believe anybody can hurt you as long as I'm here."
The strange fellow instead of replying to igbins turned to Sonia and helped her to adjust the piece of the wrapper which was hanging over her neck and barely covering her whole body.
When he moved, a tinkling sound followed his movement.
Sonia gazed upon the young warrior, their eyes met briefly and it felt as if she had seen God. "O–okay," She replied anxiously and quickly took her eyes away from his "Thank you, hero" she mumbled out. Maybe she was nervous or probably shy. Still, she immediately felt safe with him.
Her behavior, however, didn't escape igbins hateful stare, his blood was already boiling with extreme resentment.
"I see... You not only want to pretend to be a hero but you also want to act like a gentleman right?" Igbins said under gritted teeth "Now I'm going to give you one last chance to submit her back to me and explain why you interrupted me before. If you do not give me a good reason I can assure you you'll be dead in no time." He roared, declaring with showers of saliva.
"Haha. . ." The young warrior laughed aloud when he heard igbins's threat "Do you believe you have what it takes to threaten me? Joker." The young warrior said casually without the slightest bit of fear.
The behavior of the strange young warrior unnerved Igbins and caused him to look at Sally for the backing. However, To his stupefaction, Sally was just staring at the boy with wicked eyes but he didn't say anything. Sally's behavior was also reflected by the other young warriors in the prince's team.
This only augmented his anxiety towards the identity of the young hero.
"Hmm..." Igbins breathed in, he smiled lightly before he proceeded to talk again, "Okay...I realize that you're trying to seduce her to trust you so that she can become your bitch, that way you can always get her anytime you like right?" He kept his face like some ace who just discovered a great secret to some mystery.
He took two strides closer to the youth and offered him a friendly hailing. Although he was still naked and his manhood was still weakly erect, it still didn't matter much to him because other than Sonia whom he so badly wanted to assault every other person present, dead or alive, was a boy, and thus it had little meaning if they saw his nakedness or not.
"Okay, let's not fight anymore. I forgive you for hitting me before. But you don't have to be so greedy next time. Even, just now that I was going to pounce on her first, I didn't plan to be the only one to enjoy her. I was still going to share her with everyone who also wanted to have a taste of her, I'm not a greedy person... Alright, bring her over, let's forget the bad blood and just have fun with her, What do you say?" Igbins forced a smile that appeared graceful.
It turned out that Igbins was also very good at dialoguing to get what he wants. Indeed Igbins and Sally had similar reasoning that if they had even the slightest semblance anyone would easily mistake them for brothers, No wonder Sally even called him brother before.
"Haha, you're such a serpent. Why use the term pounce on her, uh? why not just use the word rape, which is what you were going to do to her." The young hero said laughing haughtily "Oh Ok, are you ashamed to use the word rape? Is it truly too heavy for your mouth? Humph!" He snorted in disgust "Well, I'm not interested in your deal and I'm also not trying to seduce her, but this is what I can assure you that you will not touch her today." The young hero concluded with a stern expression.
