Chapter 5: Lunar Cultivation Method
"Now, here are 3 cultivation methods that greatly suits you. First, Deathly Yin Cultivation Method. Second, Lunar Cultivation Method. Third, Xuan Yin Cultivation Method. You can look at the other methods if you want." Tian Min said as she controlled the three books to float in front of Mu Yue.
While Mu Yue was looking at the three books floating in front of her, she noticed that one of these books seem to be glowing. Mu Yue ignored the other two books and reach for the glowing book.
"Miss Tian Min, can I choose this method?" She asked as she holds the book.
"You can choose any method that you can find here in this space. However are you sure that you want that?" Tian Min reaches for the book, looking at it.
"When I was staring at the three books that you floated in front of me, I can't help but notice that one of them seems to be glowing." Mu Yue said while staring at the book.
"This book is called Lunar Cultivation Method. It was found on one of the ruins that my sect found. This book can be considered as one of the best methods here, however no one has yet to start using this due to its restrictions. You said it was glowing for you? Maybe you will be the one who can use that method, fate might have brought you here." Tian Min said to Mu Yue with a smile on her face.
Lunar Cultivation Method is a technique that is closely related to the moon. However, it has 5 restrictions before one can start using it.
First, the user must only have started cultivating. The user can not exceed the 1st step of Qi Condensation.
Second, the user must be a female that has an Extreme Yin Constitution.
Third, the user must not exceed 15 years of age.
Fourth, the user should have not consume any medicine or used any body strengthening methods before.
Fifth, the user should have an affinity with the moon.
"You should have no problem fulfilling the first 4 restrictions, however having an affinity with the moon is up to you."
"During my days in the orphanage, when I'm alone, I always feel calm when I'm staring at the moon singing lullabies. Also, my name includes the moon (Yue) maybe that can be considered having an affinity?" Mu Yue asked.
"Cultivators sometimes rely on their gut feeling, and when you said that you saw it glowing, I didn't see it. Maybe the book and you are destined for each other. Try it and see if you can do it." Tian Min then pointed her finger to Mu Yue's forehead. All the information inside the book was transferred to Mu Yue's brain.
"Miss Tian Min, can I get out of this space? I want to try using it."
Tian Min then waves her hand and the space disappeared which was then replaced by the cave.
"Mu Yue, as it is night time, you can go to the entrance where the moon can be seen. Don't worry about the beasts, this cave contained a 3rd tier array that hides it from the beast's senses. This array could still last for 7 years so you can have this cave as your temporary base."
Mu Yue then removed some plants in the entrance, letting the moonlight shine to her body. She then took a seat and started her cultivation, doing what the method shows.
Lunar Cultivation Method is a technique that absorbs and refine the spiritual energy from the moonlight emitted by the moon. The spiritual energies of the moonlight are pure Yin energy, which further nourishes her Extreme Yin Constitution.
Mu Yue can still absorb and refine the spiritual energy of her surroundings like any other cultivators. This method increases her absorption speed when the moon is up, as it combines the spiritual energy of the moonlight and her surroundings. Mu Yue can only absorb the spiritual energy of the moonlight if at least half of the moon can be seen at the night sky. Luckily for her, half of the moon was present and it looks like its beginning to be a full moon.
Mu Yue quickly reached the late level of 1st step Qi condensation stage before the sun rises.
"Your cultivation speed is quite fast for just a night. Cultivators use at least three years before reaching the 9th step Qi condensation stage. Now that you have finished cultivating, I will now show you things that you should know as a cultivator."Tian Min said to her as she created images of cultivators.
