Chapter 3: Monkey!!

"Mom I already told you that I am not interested in this marriage thing, so please don't force me" said Li Jie who is having a big trouble convincing his mom who is constantly bugging him to get married to a girl she has chosen out of nowhere.
"What the hell is wrong with you Li Jie, all your friends are either married or going on dates with woman and enjoying themselves, look at you. And what do mean by 'don't force me', of course I will have to force my son when he is almost 29 and specially he is still a virgin!!!"- snapped Su Xuilan aka Mother Li
"Ahem mom do u really think it is okay to talk to your son about virginity of his like this "asked Li Jie whose ears already turned super red.
"bro are you seriously a virgin like mom said" asked Li Yan and started giggling Looking at his brother blush and super red ears
"Do u not want your vacation anymore Li Yan"- snapped Li Jie who is irritated with his brothers giggles.
Scared of his brothers wrath, Li Yan went to hide behind mother Li for protection.
"don't even try to change the topic by lashing out at this monkey Li Jie"- shouted mother Li
" MOM!!!! Who are you calling monkey, don't you love me anymore and what are you all when I am monkey, we are all related by blood so what does that make you people huhh . if I am a monkey, you are mother monkey, he is brother monkey and the one sitting on couch busily reading newspaper is father monkey duhhh" said Li Jun.
"Who are you calling monkey huh even if you all are monkeys I am definitely not one and why am I even part of this conversarion when I clearly stayed out of it without even listening to it"- snapped Li Chen aka Father Li
"Who are you calling monkey MR.husband, are you tired of your married life. Maybe you want your new status to be divorced? huhhh" mother li narrowed her eyes at father Li
Rushing towards Mother Li, Father Li vigorously shook his head "No no sweetheart, when did I say that, I never did and never will, I don't even have the guts to think so. don't you know how much I love you. It is all this Li Yan's fault.
I already told you that one son is enough but you still wanted this monkey and look at him now, ungrateful brat calling you monkey" - Father Li blamed Li Yan.
"wuwuwuwuwu nobody loves me in this house wuwu"- cried Li Jun who kept on wiping his fake tears.
" you monkey shutup!! Let me deal with your brother first and what are you asking your brother about his virginity, do you want me to question yours?"- Snapped Mother Li
"ahem what are you talking about Mom hahah, lets get brother married first " sluttered Li Yan who was trying not to look into his Mothers eyes.
Li Jie who looked at both of them arguing thought it was the perfect time to escape and almost slipped out. but he was caught by Mother Li who pulled his ears.
"where do you think you are escaping Li Jie!! Did you think I called you home to simply ask you or warn you. Only after agreeing to this marriage and promising me not to play around with this marriage you are going to step out. Do you understand?"- snapped Mother Li Pulling his ears hard.
"Ouch mom that hurts. dad please help me." - he pleaded.
"No thank you son. I don't want to get my ears pulled." Father Li kindly rejected his son.
Li Jie looked at Father Li who was clearly not bothered and truth to be told, this wasn't the first time that his father never helped him.
The men of the Li family are very powerful for the outside world. But once they step in , they are the biggest wife slaves.
GrandPa Li exceeds everyone. And then Father Li. No Man in the family has the guts to say No to the women in the family.
Giving up, Li jie looked at his mOther for sometime. She has forced him so many times in the past but she has never been so stubborn. But this time it was different.
"Mom why are you forcing me like this, how can I get married to a woman whom I don't even know. Why would you do this to your son? Do you not want me to be happy anymore? How can I be happy when I get married to a stranger?" asked Li Jie who understood that his mother was really serious about this marriage.
Placing her hands on her waist mother Li raised her eyebrows and asked "a woman you don't know??- well true, but you were the one who didn't even meet her when I arranged you to meet her twice. And what are you talking about happiness? Do you think you have anything of that sort in your life now?
You are either in your office all day or at home with that stupid laptop doing work. Do you think that stupid laptop of yours can give me grandchildren huhh?
If yes ask it right now to give me one cute little darling Granddaughter and I will stop bugging you. Com'on ask" - Fumed Mother Li.
Li Jie-"!!!!!"
Li Yan and Father Li – "ehehehehe" trying not to laugh out loud.
Turning towards the two people giggling, Mother Li said.
"And what are you both laughing at – listen carefully, if Li Jie is not going to marry XiaoXi – i am going to divorce you and marry a young man and lead life with him and never gonna comeback and you monkey, don't even try being on your brother side, if you are on your brothers side this time, I am going to get you married first before your brother" Warned mother Li
**crash, the fruit platter in Li Yan hands fell and broken into pieces listening to the fatal warning his mother gave**
