Chapter 63: Chapter 63: Core Manifestation
As Godo said those words, Shuya went back to being attentive again.
"Well, this one is not really an offensive technique but, it can help you during real emergencies."
Shuya started to wonder,
'So gramps is going to teach me a defensive technique? It's not bad at all having other kinds of techniques. I wonder will it be a magic type move again?'
"Ok now. Look at my hand."
As he said that, he took the iron sword from the ground, and cut himself. It bled, as it normally would when one cuts himself.
"Now, watch what happens to this injury that i made."
As he said that, his bleeding hand started to slowly close up. A few seconds later, it was healed, completely healed. It looked as if there was never an injury there to begin with.
Shuya was shooked so much in the span of half an hour that, he became shooked again. Like 'Divine Laceration', he didn't see any traces of healing magic being used.
So how did Godo just close up the wound that he had made himself, in a span of just 3 seconds.
"Now this move, or technique as to say."
Godo started to speak again,
"It is called 'Core Manifestation'. This one needs utmost care in activating it, if you mess up in the manifesting part. You may never be able to use magic again."
Shuya felt a slight hint of ominous when he heard that.
"Haha, I'm just messing with you, i haven't seen it happen yet. So it wouldn't happen, or maybe it will, who knows."
When he heard this, he became relieved but was starting to feel the ominous again.
Godo saw how Shuya was feeling so he laughed, and moments later, he started to teach Shuya how to do it.
"You see, there are actually different types of Core. Like if you manifest the Core using only fire magic, it will make it so that it can only use fire magic."
As Godo finished the last sentence, Shuya asked,
"Wait gramps. What do you mean it will only use fire magic. Does it need magic for you to heal?"
"Yes, but before you become disheartened, let me explain. First, to manifest the core, you need to channel your mana through your body then slowly activate your magic type. But do it weak enough that it won't accidentally summon a fire on your palm.
After that you will concentrate that magic anywhere you want inside your body. Once you have concentrated enough to make a sphere, you'll stop channeling your magic, then fill it up with mana.
As the amount of mana your Core can hold contradicts to the power of your magic, it means you will not be able to hold a lot of mana if you don't train with your magic enough.
Secondly, the Core has defensive and healing properties. This means that if you want an automatic magic shield infront of you, you can. But you can only use it on yourself. Until you reach a certain level.
Thirdly, to make a core with multiple magic types, there are three ways to do it. First is to just activate your magic at the same time, second is to slowly activate it one by one,
but be careful on this one because it's the easiest to mess up. And lastly is to use some external means, like magic stones, or that Nature Gem that i made."
Shuya was as always, listening closely to what his teacher was saying. But the spirit on the other hand was also surprised by what Godo said.
'Did he just say 'that Nature Gem i made'?'
This was supposedly the correct reaction. A Nature Gem was a somewhat rare thing. Humans used it as jewellery. But for the spirits, it was a treasure. They could use it to enhance themselves.
As to why humans didn't also just enhanced themselves, it was because the contents of the Gem was not suitable for the human body. Even the Top-Tier Mages weren't able to use it. So they just stopped thinking and started to use it as jewellery.
And she also started to wonder about the last sentence he made. He included the Nature Gem as a means of enhancing oneself. So does that mean that Sir Godo can supposedly use the Gem to power himself up?
She started thinking and thinking. And eventually, she stopped.
"Well let's not think about it. I'm travelling with them for absolutely zero cost. So why should i care about one slip of tongue that he made."
As the spirit said this, she looked downwards, and continued to watch them again.
They were currently trying to form a Core for Shuya.
"Ok Shuya. We are going with the third option. I will help you form a core. But this option will not unlock the full potential so after you reach a certain level, you will have to break it and form another Core.
Oh and also. Don't try to form two Cores at the same time. I've tried it myself and, just know you should not try it."
As Shuya heard his teacher's teachings, he nodded.
Then they started to work. Shuya channeled the three magic types he had aptitudes in, and Godo did the rest. They did it slowly but surely, giving pointers on the way.
After 20 minutes, they finished. They successfully manifested a 7 Magic Type Core. The second one in the whole world. Godo was the first of course.
If Godo was not here, even if Shuya had all 7 aptitudes. It would still take him at the least 14 hours, and at the most 7 months. It was not like this because the mistakes that Shuya made, Godo instantly located them and fixed them.
So long story short. OP Godo helped Shuya walk the path of OP.

FantasyS So guys. I am not going to publish more chapters for this month. Actually i may do more but. For now, I'm not. So, please be happy with this for now.
I'm really starting to think about what to do now.
