Chapter 5: Transformers - Sparkling
Ash became flustered, "Ah! You don't have to do anything like that... I mean, I'm happy to help, you don't owe me anything."
Windblade giggled seeing his cheeks turn pink, #Are you sure, he isn't Optimus's sparkling instead? He certainly acts more like Optimus.#
Knockout, #With Megatron's strength.#
Optimus ignored the teasing, #Please allow us to guide you. Primus did just say Cybertron is not fit for humans.#
Ash looked at the two, 'I'm not getting out of this, am I?'
Lucario, -I think, it's best if we just agree.-
Ash, 'Yeah, I have a feeling they would follow us anyway.'
Megatron, #Sparkling, you are absolutely not allowed to traipse through this planet alone, especially not with the gifts you have.#
Ash scratched his nape, "Okay then. Let's go, just give me a minute to figure out in which direction it's located."
Ash moved a little further from the group though he had to pause when it looked like the Warlord planned on following. Ash would be lying, if he said he was not flattered by the sudden care he was being shown. He had watched G1, followed by the four anime series, Prime, RID, TRB, Cyberverse, movies and played the games. He half wondered which universe he was in, as far as he remembers G1 and Prime were the longest stories aside from the games. Ash felt a heart beat or is it a spark beat pulse in answer and guiding him North from his location.
Ash stood up, "That way."
Optimus mused, #The sea of rust is in that direction. A very lovely place to visit.#
Megatron, #And the portal opened there? It's quite a long distance.#
Blades, #Can we come too?#
Bumblebee, #Please!#
Shadowsteel, #We'll behave.#
Cool Aid, #Yeah.#

Ash had already started to walk in the direction he pointed, "You really don't have to follow me. I came here to return your items, nothing more than that."
Optimus gave Ash a warm smile, #Perhaps but these items were considered lost a long time ago. To see them resurface and returned is a good reason for celebration.#
Ash almost squealed like a die hard fan at the smile, "It was nothing."
Megatron picked him up, #Either way, you are not walking all the way there#
Pikachu who was on Ash's shoulder grinned and ran up to the Warlord's face plate and nuzzled him running some electricity through him, "Pikapi pika."
Ash watched surprised, "Huh! That was fast."
Soundwave, #Question: Action mean?#
Ash grinned at the leader, "Pikachu approves of you."
Megatron laughed, #Very intriguing.#
Pikachu cooed, "Pika pika pikapi."
Ash covered his mouth so as not to squeal his heart out at the sight of big bad Megatron and a little Pikachu getting along. It was just too freaking cute! Optimus just watched the Gladiator with warm optics as he offered a lift to Lucario which the aura Pokemon accepted saying thanks. The Autobot Leader nodded and transformed alongside Megatron who had decided to transform before moving again. Ash watched bright eyed as the Warlord transformed and the Leader of the Decepticons preened at the impressed awe he could feel from the bond.
Megatron, :I can feel his emotions from the bond.:
Optimus, :So can I... Ratchet?:
Ratchet, :I don't think that is surprising. After all Sires and Carriers feel their sparkling's feelings through their own bonds.:
Shockwave, :Fascinating... Lord Megatron, permission to observe more organics on this matter. If someone like the Quintessons find out about this... :
Megatron growled, :They could use it to their advantage. Very well, go Shockwave, do what you need. Find a way to prevent this gift from becoming a weakness.:
Shockwave nodded, #I shall take my leave then, my liege.#
Wheeljack, #I'm joining you. This is fascinating.#

Ash watched them go, "I think those two are friends? Maybe... "
Lucario, -Their aura is intertwined so it's possible they are.-
Pikachu, "Pikachu."
Megatron hummed as he tried to connect with Ash through the bond. Ash's eyes widened on feeling a warm feeling inside him, starting from his heart and spreading. Lucario by virtue of being connected to Ash through aura felt the same warmth followed by a smug and proud feeling of accomplishment. Ash looked at Megatron then but before Ash could say a he felt another loving warmth gently cover him like a blanket. Ash looked between the two leaders and decided to use his aura to answer them.
Megatron rumbled, #That's right, you are my sparkling.#
Optimus, #Ours! He is ours.#
Megatron scowled, #Fine!#
Ash laughed nervously after getting a read of annoyance in the aura, "Don't fight. And I'm very flattered. Sorry, I can't stay here."
Optimus, #You did nothing wrong.#
Megatron, #You don't need to apologize, we know very well that you can't stay. Get in! I meant it when I said you are not walking around.#
Ash, "Ah! Okay. Thank you very much."
As he entered the cockpit, Ash paused before taking his shoes off. It felt a bit rude to enter or step on another sentient being with dirty shoes on. Blades watched the action a little fascinated and started to ask Ash about what he just did to his pedes. Ash was confused a bit but Lucario figured out what was being said and Ash started to explain that humans had soft soles and therefore wore footwear while walking or running. He took out his phone and started to show Blades the screenshots he had taken of the footwear he would possibly buy for his future contest.
Starscream muttered looking at the high heels, #Humans may be tiny and organic but they know fashion.#
Skyfire, #Do you want one?#
Starscream, #Don't be ridiculous. Didn't you hear what he just said. Humans like him are very rare. I may be gifted but I'm not that lucky unfortunately.#
Skyfire, #Don't say that.#
Starscream muttered, #Megatron moved very fast in claiming him.#
Bumblebee, #Can you show us more of your fashion?#
Ash gave a laugh, "I can only show you what I saved on my phone. The fashion world is so much larger then what I can tell you right now. There are so many rival groups and new groups always coming up. It's sometimes impossible to keep up with."
Blades mused, #I really want to go to your planet. We can create our own group? Sounds like fun.#
Ash, "Of course, you can create your own group... Who said you couldn't? And I do suppose it would be a lovely vacation spot for Cybertronians, provided no one knows you are there."
Heatwave, #Why would anyone have a problem?#
Ash, "My planet is not exactly peaceful. There are organizations both good and bad. Turf wars between Alpha Pokemon. Territorial disputes between Legendary Pokemon. It's an adventure everyday you could say. If people knew of your existence, things would go two ways."
Cool Aid, #And they are?#
Ash, "One, everyone would consider you a new enemy or rival and attack you. Two, they would consider you an asset and fight over you. Of course, you can always decline and make it known you are not there to get involved in personal fights.. But it won't stop them from trying."
Jazz, #Sounds complicated. But that's not all is it?#
Ash, "Most, well eighty percent of the living beings would not bat an eye at your existence and no doubt would be more curious about your culture, music, art and laws.. Scientists would be interested in any alien sample you are willing to share. Inventors would happily invite you to join them. Artist would love to share their art and learn about your art. The trainers would no doubt invite you to join them on their journey, etc. There are a lot of ways people would react. Some might be shocked but as long as you don't hurt anyone I'm pretty sure, you would be welcome."
Megatron, #Good, I plan on finding you.#
Ash grinned, "Oh yeah! You will no doubt have many people vying for your attention."
Optimus, #I suppose they would be curious about us the same way we are curious about you.#
Pikachu nodded, "Pikachu."
Lucario, -And you will no doubt have many people who are attracted to you.-
Boulder stumbled, #What?#
Ash, "Oh yeah! There's that too. You may be sentient robotic aliens. But you are also very attractive. I have no doubt you will get many proposals."
Megatron humphed, #Well that is no surprise. I am a powerful gladiator.#
Optimus hummed, #That's how humans would react, correct? What about Pokemon?#
Ash, "The Pokemon who have partnered with humans will behave the same way as their human partners. Wild Pokemon though, unless you come across a Pokemon determined to be a leader will either want to play with you or ignore you."
Shadowsteel, #Is it that simple?#
Ash, "No, I'm just giving you the general reactions. Individual ones, well that can be a little complicated. Ah! We are here."
Megatron, #So we are.#
Ash tried to take off the belt, "Umm Megatron, I need to go.... Please?"
Megatron sighed or at least that's what Ash thought he did before letting go, #My codes despite being calmed down are screaming at me to take you home and keep you safe.#
Optimus, #Mine too, actually it's demanding I do that.#
Ash gave a nervous laugh, "Ah! No need, no need! I'm fine and safe where I'm going, which is my home. So it's okay."
Jazz, #They care about you little spark and not seeing you is going to be difficult.#
Ash shifted, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to cause trouble. I just wanted to return the items."
Bumblebee shook his helm, #Don't apologize. It happens sometimes. You just end up making bonds with the most unlikely people out there.#
Gold Bug, #You saying, you regret it?#
Bumblebee, #Not one bit Carrier. You and Sire made me very happy.#
Speedway laughed, #That's good to hear, now say farewell to your friend little Bee. It looks like he is leaving.... That is if Lord Megatron will let go.#
Windblade snickered, #Lord Optimus is unwilling to part as well.#
Ash gave a huff before he decided to do something bold. Lucario watched with a slight apprehension in his eyes. Whatever his Meema was planning, was going to come back to bite him somehow. There was no way the meaning would remain unknown for long, especially if Primus knew Arceus. Those Gods always messed and meddled for fun when unnecessary. Ash made a hand motion towards Optimus while hugging to Megatron's servo. The Leader lent his servo curious about why when Ash took both and nuzzled the thumbs.
The two Leaders optics blinked before they sent pleased emotions through the bond towards their adopted sparkling. Ash then grinned before standing on his toes and kissing both the thumbs. The younglings blinked confused at the action while the Leaders froze at the emotions that ran through their bonds. Love, care, adoration, they felt it all from the little one before Ash gave another grin and then escaped from their grip.
Ash waved, "See you next time."
Lucario bowed, -Thank you for your hospitality.-
Pikachu chirped at them as he held on to Lucario who rushed after Ash into the portal that had opened up. The two shocked Leaders intended to follow only for the portal to close on them and deny them entry. Was it unfair of Ash to do that? Yes, he adored the two and hated the idea of hurting them. Was it necessary? Also yes, he recognized the look in their optics. How could he not? It was the same look he had seen in the series many times when they wanted something to be done. If he had not run like a coward, he was pretty sure they would have convinced him to stay.
Ash felt a tear fall, 'Why am I crying?'
Lucario, -Meema?-
Ash, "I don't know... I miss them. Lucario I miss them so much already."
Lucario, -It's the bond.... Before it was only from their side. But when you accepted them and returned the feelings. The bond solidified, it now recognizes them as your parents aside from your mom and late Dad.-
Ash laughed, "And I just ran from them like a coward. Oh Primus! They must be feeling disappointed in me."
Lucario ran his aura, -No what you are feeling is their distraught. Look this are not your emotions.-
Ash focussed on his aura and emotions and his eyes widened, "Lucario... What have I done? I will have to apologize to them. Oh what have I done!"
Lucario nodded, -We both will, I didn't realize it'll go so deep.-
While Ash worried about how this would affect the two Leaders, back on Cybertron Megatron was already making plans. The Decepticon Warlord turned to Starscream and announced him the next Leader of Decepticon much to everyone's shock. Starscream gaped before flying after him demanding answers and asking why, followed by his Conjunx Skyfire who was congratulating him on achieving his dreams. On the other hand Optimus had a calculating gleam in his own optics as he turned to Rodimus Prime.
Optimus, "Rodimus, come we have a lot to talk about my dear Prime brother!"
Rodimus felt a chill go through his frame, "Uh um sure? I guess."
Jazz muttered, "I feel a little bad for the new Prime."
Prowl, "Do you want to go against a Prime with an active sparkling code?"
Jazz, "I'm not suicidal, thank you."
Windblade, "I'm gonna get back to work, Blades let's go little spark."
Blades, "Already? Awww.... Sorry everyone guess I need to go."
Gold Bug, "Baby Bee, time for us to go too."
Bumblebee, "You aren't the only one... You know, I kinda pity Ash when Megatron and Optimus find him."
Heatwave, "I don't think, he realizes what he has done."
Chase, "Indeed."
Boulder, "I hope we get to meet him too. You know how Carriers and Sires can be after being separated from their sparklings."
Cool Aid chuckled, "I bet, it'll be hilarious. Ash isn't someone who will allow themselves to be coddled."
Shadowsteel hummed, "I agree, he looks like someone who would protect you instead."
Prowl, "What makes you say that?"
Shadowsteel looked at her Sire, "Earlier when I answered the EM, wait he calls it aura? Aura from him, his aura wrapped around me like a protective shield. It was really nice."
Chase, "I noticed that too. I didn't think much of it."
Heatwave grinned, "I hope we can get front seats to when Lord Megatron and Lord Optimus find Ash again. It'll be quiet fun to watch, provided we are not caught."
Boulder, "I think Blades would enjoy that."
Jazz, "We should return too. Come on younglings."
Over the next few vorns saw Optimus going through the many libraries in Cybertron, even the ones thought lost to time. To say everyone was surprised by their existence was an understatement, but Megatron seemed to just go with it. Rodimus and Starscream were in a conundrum, they always wanted to be a leader but now that they were one, neither was sure where to go. Gold Bug took pity on her two childhood friends and roped in Skyfire, Windblade, Thundercracker and Jazz to guide them. She would have got Soundwave and Ironhide as well but the older Mechs declined saying they had promised loyalty to Megatron and Optimus first, Decepticons and Autobots second.
The Council of Cybertron was in one word exasperated, all it took was one fragging organic sparkling to appear for everyone's priorities to change. The two main battle groups were no longer interested in gaining control over Cybertron but rather seemed to be interested in relics of the past, especially after the three lost relics appeared with the young organic. Even they could tell the organic was basically a sparkling! For some reason though no one seemed to have heard about humans nor this being called Arceus that Primus so fondly spoke of. The Council didn't know whether to laugh or cry at the leaders of the two factions who announced their new heirs who would be taking over effective immediately. Also did they mention Optimus found Vector Prime, an ancient Prime from the time of the original thirteen, sleeping in an underground city library? No? Well he did and most of them had no idea what to do with the older Prime who was basically the oldest Cybertronian aside from Maccaddams.
[A. N.: After writing about Megatron and Pikachu together... I now need an art of the two together.
Someone please draw Megatron with a Pikachu. I need it. It doesn't have to be coloured, just a pencil drawing is fine too.
